Wow it's so great to have a korean corn dog place in North County! This place was awesome, my boyfriend and I had the privilege of meeting the owner. We tried the potato dog, spicy dog, dirty fries and two drinks. EVERYTHING was amazing and so fresh. I loved the potato dog and am a fan of their dirty sauce! The hot cheetos powder I thought wouldn't fit right, but the taste and flavors and combo were bomb. We got half cheese, half sausage of course. The dirty fries are tater tots with hot cheetos powder and their dirty sauce and wow, loved them! For drinks, we got the pineapple slush and horchata slush. Unfortunately, the pineapple slush was runny because the machine was still freezing it up but I told the employees I didn't mind, and it was still good! My favorite was the horchata slush. Location wise -- at the moment there is construction in front of the parking lot so you cannot make a left into it and may have to go around. For parking, if you come at a busy time it might be a little tight to find. There are no tables inside whatsoever and only 1 outside, so you will have to eat it outside standing or at your car, or take it to go. Overall, I am definitely coming back here again, love it and highly recommend to others! :) read more

Small shop, but the food packs a punch. Perfect batter ratio, cheese pull was phenomenal, crispy fried exterior, and even stayed toasty during the 15 min car ride home. The shop does get packed quickly, but staff was attentive and helpful with questions I had. Great snack food, but combo options for meals were very reasonably priced. First time trying a Korean corn dog & it was yummy! I got the potato dog with no Cheetos and the dirty sauce on the side. Ordering was pretty simple but the guy working front counter is okay. He isn't the most welcoming or nice but it's okay it's also not something horrible. Overall, the place was nice & clean. Ever get a mad craving for a frank? No? Just me? Sometimes I don't want to buy a 6-pack of them and make them at home. Sometimes the buns are stale tasting even though I got them fresh. And homemade corn dogs are soggy and greasy. So I was pleased to see Two Hands open up a short drive from my house. Today, encountering my occasional hankering for a dog, I stopped in and tried their potato dog, filled with half mozzarella and half sausage. The sugar on it sounded unusual, but I tried it. I understand sugar is added to savory things to enhance or balance the savoriness of a dish (like some sugar or a chopped carrot being thrown into spaghetti sauce). I'm glad I did try it as recommended because I wouldn't change it! It was fantastic. The potatoes on the outside were perfectly crisp and the toppings were a wonderful balance of savory and spicy with the slightest hint of sweetness. The cheese was warm enough that it was melted and luscious but not so hot to feel like lava burning the roof of my mouth when I took a bite. When I got to the sausage it, too, was a savory delight and was cooked with the perfect snap that a dog should have. My only regret is that I didn't order another. I guess that's why they're called Two Hands. Yum! Will be back for more! One thing to note: seating isn't yet a thing here. Plan to eat in your car or the one table outside if it's available. I hope they are able to add some indoor seating, as I was a little cold outside today. read more

Ordered from this place on uber eats the pictures were very Intriguing. All I can really say is WOW this place was very very very good. I ordered the 5 pack that's in the picture I posted a d I ordered Xtra sauce and Xtra spicy sauce. The corn dog is well made batter not to thin or even to thick it was just right. Came here on the soft opening and chose a free two hands dog with 1/2 mozzarella and 1/2 beef. I didn't know what to expect. The first bite was crispy and bit into gooey cheese that stretched. I liked the texture of the outer crunch and the ranch flavor or the sauce. The last few bites was the beef dog and a nice salty taste to end on. I liked everything about the dog and it was a fun to eat on a stick. The location is prime in between the movie theater and the ranch market however hidden back from the road if you're trying to find it. I also like the price point under $5 for each item (corn dog, fries or drink). There were only 2 small bar tables to sit but there's a seating area under a pagoda for the strip mall. Very basic inside, almost no setting. The place is bright and clean. The "Corn Dogs" were not your hometown fair Corn Dogs! I got a regular fair type corn dog, and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good... the corn meal was bland and the hot dog was flavorless. So it was a bust for me. I also had a half n half, beef n cheese again more of the same. The service was great and friendly and here's the caveat and why you might want to try the place. Meh, the ads and videos were on point online but the execution was mid. Very hidden Customer service was no where to be found Not busy I wonder why? The options of protein and cheese was not it The sauces they used were weird and off And only actual seasoning and sauce that was even decent was the one on the two hand dog itself sadly, but didn't hold up with mediocre protein options, I guess you can't go wrong with cheese ? Well where's the fun in choosing the many options offered? Well if they aren't that great, that's probably why. We were happy to find a Two Hands somewhat nearby because our first time having Korean corn dogs was at Two Hands Huntington Beach over a year ago. The reason why I like Two Hands over the other Korean corn dog places is because they still serve traditional corn dogs as well, which I still like to have. The whole family got corn dogs and were pretty happy with them. We did notice that they leave the cheetoh crumbs and orange sauce just sitting out in the open. My cheetoh crumbs seemed stale. And it is just unsettling knowing that the sauce is also just sitting out unrefrigerated and uncovered. The other thing we weren't thrilled about was the place itself. The floors looked like they have only been swept and have not been mopped for a very long time. The windows were dirty. There was a huge spider web on the fire extinguisher out in the dining area. It just didn't look clean and well kept. The Two Hands in Huntington Beach and every other Korean corn dog place we've been to have all been well kept and clean. I don't understand how the manager and owner does not notice or care to keep the place looking nice and also considering better ways to keep the food fresh. On that note, we likely won't be back even though it is the only Korean corn dog place that also serves the traditional American style in addition to the Korean variety. read more

It's not just corndogs. It's hotdog on a stick to the 9th degree. You can have half mozzarella half American or half sausage or even half spicy sausage. I had a decent experience with Two Hands in San Marcos. The cashier was pleasant and friendly and the order didn't take long though i was able to watch the cook make them. Some of the toppings I have not seen at other places but they are pre decided so for some, the stress of creating what to put on it was what made ordering it easy. I've had potato dogs from other places, but the hot Cheetos spicy dog was my main interest.. it had a nice dust of cheeto crumbs while the sweet corn breading mellowed the heat. Each corn dog pictured is filled with 50/50 of mozzarella and beef, which the sad part of the experience was a lack of cheese pull I've had before. Not a huge deciding factor, just a preference. The reason for 4 stars is the menu. Although simple and easy to order i prefer to have the options to add on and try different mixes. I've never had bad customer service at any of their locations and yes, I've been to them all. Doesn't matter where I'm at, I will drive just to get my hands on the potato dog with mozzarella. I think there's only seating at the San Marcos location and the others are all outside but that's okay. I just eat it in my car and then go get a car wash to get all the hot Cheetos bits from my car.
