I'm also writing this for the poor bartender who had to service the entire restaurant...making cocktails, trying to get orders out. She was flying solo on a Friday night! My buddy and I got there at 4:30 PM for beers and grub. There were two people at the bar. Both beers on tap were not available. One keg had kicked, the other's "line was frozen." no worries, grabbed a better beer as mentioned earlier. The food came out fast and hot, and the dry rub wings and burger were delicious. Fries were clearly frozen, so I would suggest cutting your own. The bar started getting packed and this poor bartender was deep in the weeds. At one point there was only one table open in the place, which would've been great if the place had an actual waitstaff. If you're into entrees, they do not have any. It's more of a burger/wings/appetizers vibe for now. But the interior is cozy and I hope they increase staff so the place does well. There would have been a line and a wait if so.

Whimsical posters dressed up the plain but cozy room (a rabbit in a pink bathrobe holding a bottle of champagne and divers leaping into a wine glass). I could have spent all afternoon there, reading and sipping. But I had places to be. If I stayed longer I might have tried some of the food. It's more in the line of light snacks than an actual meal, mostly cold, but they were more interesting than the standard charcuterie plate offered by similar venues, and I liked that they listed the country or state of origin of everything. For dessert, how about a slice of cheesecake from Chill's of Warren, RI - or a flight of 3 for $21! Beer lovers, don't fear Coastal Bubbles. Menu listed five, all of which I've never heard of, from Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Portugal, sure to interest the connoisseur. The menu that day included 25 wines by the glass. Their high-tech "Coravin System" keeps the open bottles fresh, and my Croation Matsuško was flawless in that respect. Port lovers might try the "100 Years Of Port Flight": the 10, 20, 30, and 40 year vintages of Van Zellers. I'll be doing that next time, with the cheesecake.

We hired Lawless Food Truck, based in Lakeville, Mass., to cater our Sunday pool party the day…read moreafter our wedding in Falmouth on Cape Cod. We were looking for a taco truck to serve our 35-40 guests, and Alex delivered. Whereas other food trucks were quoting us $50-60 per person (or more!), Lawless made us a very attractive quote, with lots of customization options. We coordinated with Alex six months out, paid a small deposit, and then paid the balance a week before the event. On the day of the party, the Lawless Food Truck parked in the driveway at our parents' house in Falmouth. Our guests went up and ordered from three types of meats and three types of Mexican dishes (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls). There was also chips and salsa, beans, guacamole, and a selection of hot sauces for our guests to choose from. The food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meals and the fun of having a taco truck show up at our house. I know Lawless Food Truck does a number of local events each month, and their menu is much wider than just Mexican food, you can do all sorts of cuisines. The price was very right, there were no hidden fees and Alex even tried to decline gratuity (I wouldn't allow that).
