Having the food & beverages, table settings, seating, linens and ceremony all managed by one entity streamlined the planning process. We were completely satisfied with how each of those areas was managed. The indoor speaker system was also excellent and allowed us to successfully use a playlist rather than get a DJ or band. There was also a good amount of flexibility within the planning process to customize what we wanted, while still having a good outline of the flow and recommendations when we weren't sure about something. Justine did a great job making sure everything went smoothly, and during the event I needed to ask other staff members for a couple things and they were all super helpful. A lot of our guests commented on how beautiful the location was, and that the food was really good. We wouldn't have changed anything.

Due to an extreme "life or death" medical situation, we had to cancel a wedding reception way in advance of its projected time.. All we received back from these vultures was the middle finger and a credit that we could use for a future function if we so desired. Emailed a so-called member to see if he could help in returning all of a monies we paid. He was a useless dirtbag as well - an East Providence Insurance agent. FOLKS - please read the fine print if you're planning on any sort of function there. Seriously. we were screwed out of $2,500 dollars.

It has the basic things covered - it's clean and the beds are comfy, but it quickly feels like a home away from home. It's such a unique spot that it's hard to describe. It's in a beautiful location, right next to a fishing pier, and not far from Horseneck Beach. The building itself is historic and every nook and cranny of the place has interesting art and artifacts. The owner, Brenda, is a great person. We enjoyed the breakfast, and she even had a copy of the Sunday New York Times. What a treat!

My wife and I went here over the weekend for here college reunion. The function space used to be…read morethe old Trio and for the amount of people (~100), it was cramped. Both rooms were difficult to navigate with everyone so close to one another and it was hard to walk past the bars because there were large waste bins on the ends and people would collect there to throw their bottles away. The event had a 4-hour open bar with only one bartender per bar. From what my wife and I could tell, the two bartenders were the only employees there. This proved to be a major problem because if the bartender needed something that wasn't stocked at their station or had to walk the space to clear tables, they would have to leave the bar completely unmanned. There were a lot of times that patrons would get behind the bar and take bottles from the shelves and when the bartenders came back, they'd pretty much shrug it off and continue to serve. One bar was for beer and wine, the other for cocktails. The cocktail line was always busy and the bartender couldn't keep up with demand, typically not remembering who had ordered first. From what I was told by other patrons, the drinks were quite weak. I stuck to hard cider and beer solely because the line was faster. But every time I wanted a Guinness, the bartender would leave the bar to go and get it from somewhere else. Luckily the event was only four hours long and my wife and I didn't stay through the whole thing. What's so concerning is that the management didn't think to staff properly and created a liability for themselves.

Jesse, Stephanie, and the staff are superb and are there to help you every step of the way in planning your event. We had a full service: appetizers, cheese and cracker table, Portuguese soup, family style salad, roast beef w/ mashed, stuffed scrod w/ rice, and cake & ice cream. All the food provided and cooked by All-star Chef Octavio Gomes was fantastic. I worked with Octavio for some time at the Venus de Milo so I know his work is nothing but the best! Hall is very spacious and we were able to bring in a good capacity of people even within the midst of COVID restrictions. The lights and decorations in the hall definitely set the tone of a nice ballroom wedding. All the staff was absolutely professional, friendly and helpful. No complaints and no regrets booking here. 5 STARS!

I lingered with a glass, reading my book while soulful music softly played, quiet conversations among the few other patrons drifted in and out of my consciousness, and the plaintive cries of seagulls outside were occasionally audible. Whimsical posters dressed up the plain but cozy room (a rabbit in a pink bathrobe holding a bottle of champagne and divers leaping into a wine glass). I could have spent all afternoon there, reading and sipping. But I had places to be. If I stayed longer I might have tried some of the food. It's more in the line of light snacks than an actual meal, mostly cold, but they were more interesting than the standard charcuterie plate offered by similar venues, and I liked that they listed the country or state of origin of everything. For dessert, how about a slice of cheesecake from Chill's of Warren, RI - or a flight of 3 for $21! Beer lovers, don't fear Coastal Bubbles. Their high-tech "Coravin System" keeps the open bottles fresh, and my Croation Matsuško was flawless in that respect. Port lovers might try the "100 Years Of Port Flight": the 10, 20, 30, and 40 year vintages of Van Zellers. I'll be doing that next time, with the cheesecake.
