We needed dining chairs, cushions, side tables and were referred here. Beautiful wood furniture at the showroom and across the street at the warehouse. The salesperson was so nice, friendly, and helpful. She asked what we were looking for and knew exactly where to guide us. Was 100% spot on, so we made the purchase immediately. They even offered to assemble the tables, but we kept them in the box since that was easier to transport. Will definitely revisit the store to additional pieces int he future. read more

Good: Well, we love the sale going on! Saved $1400 on new dining room chairs. Bad: I Was very uncomfortable w the "owner" approaching to me w MAGA comments. WOW! Couldn't believe this "owner" was trying to engage w me on MAGA topics like RFK and "Woke" topics. I tried to change the subject and he didn't pick up on my resistance to the discussion topic. I was completely turned off w his insistence on trying to talk politics. Ughhhhhh .. I just wanted to get some chairs, Man! How does it make sense to bring politics into a furniture decision? I was very excited about checking out this store based on reviews and photos. However it became very disappointing once I entered the store. First to mention, we are adding new furnishings to our rental property and a new home build we just completed. Needless to say, we are about to purchase A LOT of furniture. We want it to be forever furniture, so unique and custom pieces are a must. I liked a couple pieces almost immediately, but was passed by multiple times by the sales associates who never once asked if I needed help. Just the usual up and down look making me feel like I didn't belong there. I guess shopping in an old t-shirt and flip flops equals poor treatment. I would not expect that here on the island at all. After about 20 minutes without even a smile, I was done here. Regardless, I didn't feel welcomed or paid attention to, and for me, I am not about to give my hard earned money to a place with such dismissive customer service. I'd rather pay the shipping from other islands or the mainland than shop here again. Very disappointing & frustrating when you want to invest in small local businesses and shop local and there's just such rudeness. Will not be back, nor will we recommend this store to family and friends on the island. Mahalo, but NO THANK YOU. read more

Every impressing furniture store. Love their showroom. I could live in there. Would've loved to have purchased one of those fake philodendron plants but alas, they were not for sale. Sniff sniff... We are new property owners in Kauai and were in the market for new living room furniture. We spent several days looking at different stores until we decided on Two Frogs. The price was very competitive compared to the other stores we looked at but the service was amazing! We worked with Lili through out the process of looking through different options, colors, manufactures etc. This was an important decision for us and we made several visit to the store and worked with several emailed quotes. During our entire experience Lili was nothing less than totally professional & knowledgeable! She was patience with all of our request and even laughed with us when we could not make up our minds! After making our final decision on our purchase, she said she may be able to save us some money and came back with a several hundred dollar savings on a different shipping option! When I arrived on Kauai I shopped at Two Frogs Hugging and furnished my condo with beautiful pieces from the shop. When I sold that condo I sold the lovely furniture as part of the sale. Hmmm I bought another condo and started furniture shopping and found myself back at Two Frogs Hugging buying the same bedroom set again and adding some new pieces. We went in on a Saturday just to look around and ended up buying a few pieces. The selections were varied and all of great quality. We asked someone on a forklift for some help with questions, and soon a delightful young lady appeared. This was Catherine (Cat), the general manager. She worked with us as we moved from section to section, answering our questions and telling us about the merchandise. It was busy that day, but Cat managed to keep up with us as we moved around the warehouse. Once we had made all of our selections, we went over to the office. Cat completed the invoice order quickly, and scheduled the delivery. The entire experience was friendly, relaxed, and very efficient. On delivery day, the team arrived on time, and did a great job getting all that heavy monkey pod furniture into our upstairs living room. These folks were very impressive in the great amount of care they took to not damage anything. A few days after the delivery, we went back and purchased more furniture to complete the room. The item was large, heavy, and in stock. Cat was able to have it delivered the next day, which was great. Two days after that, I sent an image to Cat of a Hutch China cabinet I found online. She researched her sources and the next day presented me with 4 pages of images of this type of cabinet, that she could order. We selected one of these and placed it on order. It is great to have such a business with such nice people locally. Folks you can visit and talk to. Cat really knows her business and her merchandise. The furniture is real wood, not cheap particle board. The upholstered sofas and chairs are Lazy Boy and similar quality, the kind of furniture that lasts for decades. The folks that work here all treated us very well, and all very helpful. This is a great local business that we are happy to support, and highly recommend.
