While attending a conference In 2010, Danny Gonzalez, had the idea to create a place to help families in need. He had seen people struggle with paying their household bills and children who were not making their grades in school. In April of 2019, Danny along with his brother and long time friend found a spot where people could go for hope and assistance. Programs called "My Block" are bags with laundry soap and household essential, "My Friends" is a space for youth with mentorship, "My Money" is a program that assists individuals to help create budgets and "My Sport" is where children can learn skills from coaches and build a community with each other. They also loan rooms to the Red Cross for collecting blood donations. A LOCAL wonderful non profit in my books!

My other mommy friends also join us, so he had some familiar faces to play with. It's held once a week for about 6 to 8wks (class length varies) indoor, they have cars, balls, hoops, ramps, tunnels, blocks, trampolines, lots of stuff that littles under 3yrs old can play with for 45min. It includes song time and a bit of outdoor play with bubbles if weather permits. I like having affordable, short term commitment classes like this for my son, esp during the summer. I really have zero complaints: registration is easy, it's affordable, it's nearby, it's entertainment for my little man.

The staff and volunteers were friendly and organized, which made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. I ended up calling back and I got transferred 4 times and I spoke with Cynthia and I was explaining how I was frustrated that im getting transferred around so much and she wanted to transferred me again and she interrupted me and said that she doesn't need sarcasm but I wasn't being sarcastic about anything I clearly explained my frustration and I don't know what would have been considered sarcastic to her. She then transferred me anyways and I was told that it would be $962 for the X-rays ($162 increase from the first amount the told me). When I was told that price I asked them why inline it says prices would ranged from ~$80-$120 with insurance and that when Cynthia came back on the line and interrupted me again. I ended up looking into Arizona Diagnostic Radiology in Tempe and I got AMAZING customer services and with my insurance they said it would only be $75.28 for the X-rays I needed. I called Valleywise back to ask how they gave me such an egregious price under insurance when another company gave me a reasonable price with my insurance. The representative said the price is not dependent on the hospital but on my insurance. I told her that under my insurance with a different company it was way more affordable and if they are going through my insurance why would there be hundreds of dollars in a difference. The representative then said it is because Valleywise is a hospital. $962 dollars for an xray is ridiculous and no one should have to pay that amount. Arizona Diagnostic Radiology took great care of me and Marlyn made my day with his smile and kindness. Don't get scammed by these company's and do your research to find what works best for you!

Week days check out the coffee shop. Check the website for days and hours. Saturday is family day 9-5 again it's free for the family... it's not s child care since it's open to the whole family all ages are there for family fun, so need to keep an eye on the little ones! Seriously it's amazing it's non-profit and it's fun and it's out of the Arizona sun! Parents dinners to stop in the first visit for Jr & Sr High kids to sign release forms.

For a facility that is suppose to be solely for basketball games the courts are filled with dirt and doesn't looked like it's been cleaned or waxed for years. They should keep up with the bathrooms since there is only one that is for a ton of people. It was also very crowded and not enough seating to host games. Overall, the facility is dirty and needs to be updated.

The park outside was excellent especially during nice weather. Plenty of room to do your asanas and pranayama. We received a free yoga tank top with "Be Present" emblazoned on the front and a sticker. I found them on Yelp event section, and I am so glad I went. I hope they offer more free yoga classes here!
