Such a clean, aesthetic studio in Weho! I took a charcuterie board class here with my friends over the weekend. I loved the creative freedom we had with our pieces. Lots of cute glazing options for colors. The instructor was friendly and led a great class, and the customer service, both in person and over email was wonderful. I had so much fun with hand clay and definitely come back for another class!

What a cute fun place! Wished we had more time (class was 2 hrs) but we had so much fun here making our ceramic mugs. None of us had any experience but Ruby was great helping and explaining. Cant wait to pick them up in 6 weeks!! Get here early so you can find parking as Melrose can be very busy sometimes. They have other classes as well just check out their link for options. @travel_lifestyle_chow

Didn't know how fun this would be. Eve was so great at explaining everything. I made a vid about my experience and it literally went viral on tik tok. It was sooo fun, it was 2 hours. I think it's more than enough time. I went to pick up my piece and already used it for matcha. Great great time I would go again! Community goods was on the same street so we stopped by since the line wasn't crazy for once. Theye even have a 6 week session coming up which I might check out!

Come dressed in clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty!…read more I came with my partner and we both loved the experience. It was such a fun class, and as first-timers to pottery, we felt like it was a great introduction. The instructors were helpful, and the whole process was really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to make something new. Once you're done, they glaze your piece for you, and you'll have to come back a few weeks later to pick up the finished product.

Highly recommend Bitter Root Pottery's rooftop experience, especially for beginners! I came here…read morewith my partner for our anniversary, and he surprised me with a fantastic view, cozy ambience, and an amazing pottery class. We were led upstairs, and I was surprised by the rooftop pond, and how beautiful the koi fishes were! You can also see the Hollywood sign in the distance. It was a very serene space. Filming is welcome (a plus for capturing memories!), and parking is free right out front. Just note: the lot is pretty small, so I recommend arriving early to snag a spot. Our instructor was super informative and made sure to spend time with everyone in the class, walking us through every step of the process. It was hands-on and beginner-friendly, which made it all the more enjoyable. The only downside is the wait bc our finished bowls took about 6-8 weeks to be ready after shaping them on the wheel. But honestly, it was worth it--they turned out beautifully :')
