I don't understand the bad reviews... I had a great experience here and love my piece! It was held for me a little past the 45 day mark and Maital was a great instructor. Very patient and informative! I had a difficult time with some of the wheel and she showed me how to do it without completely taking over. Maital is a phenomenal ceramicist and a great place to have Pinter parties. She's an expert and guiding people through the steps even as a beginner to get a handmade piece you love. This place is quite spacious and the layout is really great for hanging out with friends. The tooling here is great for a studio and the membership fees are pretty reasonable. Clay options are great but and the clay they use for the intros is pretty nice. read more

(Negative stars should be an option) I am utterly shocked at the experience that we just had. Unfortunately, I did not see the other negative review before booking a class here. When we walked in Maital was not wearing a mask and at first I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she had just opened and wasn't fully prepared for guests. When we asked for her to put one on she flat out refused. We had to leave since proper covid precautions were not being taken. Please do not go here and choose a different establishment that cares about the safety of its customers! read more

Maital is amazing! I was a member for a few months and it was always a joy to come in and spend time in the studio. The space is great, open, comfortable, inviting, and fully stocked with everything you need. It'd been a few years since id been on the wheel and Maital was so helpful in giving me a quick refresher. She was very generous with her knowledge and skill anytime I needed help with something, not to mention just pleasant company to be around at the studio. The same goes for the other members as well, I found it a very relaxing escape to come work in. Spent a good amount of time throwing on the wheel as well as just making freehand pieces and I'm thrilled with how everything turned out. No matter your skill level if you have any interest in ceramics I can't recommend Maital and her studio enough!! read more

Wanted to do something different and fun with my daughter. Called Maital and booked some time. She was so kind and explained what was included, we were looking forward to it. I had some questions regarding masks - my daughter is disabled and hard of hearing, she cannot wear one and neither can I as she partially reads lips to communicate with people. Needless to say these past years have been VERY difficult for us. Luckily Maital understood not only to our situation, but to laws and freedoms. She had no problem with us enjoying her space and being creative without masks. As we spoke I began to see that she stood for freedom and kindness. She said - If you want to or have to wear one, you're welcome in my business, If you don't want to or cannot wear one, you're welcome in my business. We felt totally at home surrounded by beautiful things and a wonderful, kind person who gave my daughter an amazing day!! Thank you Maital for your help, support and the fun we had with you!!! I recommend anyone to her studio and to just have fun relax and be a human again!!! And for those who are still panicking and worried about living life during this 'pandemic' - my comment is STAY HOME!! So the rest of us can go without having to cater to you because of your insane fears!! read more

Incredibly disappointed by our experience here. Maital is following zero covid precautions. We had a reservation and asked Maital to wear a mask and she refused. I am shocked that over one year into a global pandemic, a business can outwardly refuse to follow safety precautions and can feel comfortable putting others lives at risk. She was polite and understanding when we decided to leave, however it is alarming to know that she is an open business not following covid precautions. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. From the moment we walked in the owner maital was shoving her political views and how she's a trump supporter down our throat. This was planned to be a fun date as there isn't much to do during these times. She would not leave us alone speaking to us about her personal life and political views. We had no time to enjoy ourselves. The place was ice cold and a disaster. Later when it came to picking up our pieces she would tell us every week it would be ready "tomorrow". 8 weeks later we were finally able to pick up one of the two pieces. Safe to say I would never go back here and I highly recommend you don't either unless you want to be tormented. I've never experienced such a poorly ran business in my entire life. I was in the process of booking my bday party event. Everything was fine and Maital was very helpful with the process. However, as I kept following up on logistics I started to pick up on some red flags. In our last call, she mentioned how covid is a hoax, and went on to claim that the vaccine transmits this illness to non vaccinated folks. I personally do not care about your beliefs but as a business, it is incredibly unprofessional to be shoving these opinions down a customers throat. I was really looking forward to this little party event but I'm glad that I found out sooner than later. I'd like to think I dodged a bullet before she went on to offend me or any of my guests. read more

It's sad, and obvious when someone doesn't approach things with a solution. Clearly customer service in not a priority at this business. We have been going to MS Maital Ceramics since 2014 and absolutely LOVE everything about the studio. Maital has been a wonderful source of inspiration for our 3 children and what sets her apart is that kids get to make their designs from scratch rather than just painting a piece. I came here with my mom and sister for my mom's birthday and we had the best time. The studio was SO relaxing and it was just the three of us making pottery with Maital teaching/ showing us the way. The studio was really clean, spacious, there was great music playing. I HIGHLY recommend this place for a group of friends to go together or it's a nice gift to do on someone's birthday and then you both walk away with two pieces of pottery and you can make whatever you want. At the end you have the option of glazing your own piece or picking a color and having the studio do it for you. Loved this place!! read more

MS Maital studio is a genius idea. I mean you get the whole GHOST(movie) experience minus the love scene. Your able to jump on the wheel with your close friends for a prvt party on sip on some good booze and snacks if you wish and have a great time while making some take home gifts you create. Or for those who have kids and need a place to drop them off and keep their minds stimulated, Maital's studio is it! Kids birthday parties a huge bonus!! Had my daughter's 8th birthday here and it was AMAZING! First, the kids actually learn how to use the tools and equipment, including the pottery wheel (So cool! Particularly if you're 8!). While half the group had a lesson in the wheel, the other half used sculpting clay to make a different project. The kids will actually have beautiful projects when they pick them up in a few weeks. But what really made this party different than many other places in town is Maital and her team. She had four helpers, so all the kids got a chance to get help on the wheel or making their free-form piece. No frustrated kids = better party. What's more, just like Maital, the other pros she had were artists and incredibly able and patient teachers of children. This isn't an inexpensive party, but it's worth every cent! read more

Maital is amazing. My daughter and I have been going to her studio for years. She is amazing with both kids and grownups. She is a true artist and a great teacher. We've gone to other ceramics studios in the area and this is night and day. During the summer, my daughter goes every day for several weeks as a camp. She adores it. And Maital is so sweet - my daughter loves her. For my birthday a few years ago, my friends planned an evening for me at her stufio and we had a lovely adults night with champagne and beautiful pottery. Highly recommended read more

But they are so helpful and walk you threw every single step until you're happy with your piece. The studio was relaxing, good music, clean and all around just had great vibes.
