Once complete, you attach your name and contact info on a card so that it can be shipped to you once it has been cast into a brass (or silver) ring. Despite the class being very small (only five students), the instructor completely ignored me the entire session, while giving multiple rounds of feedback to other students--including one sitting directly in front of me. I even walked to the location with the instructor, so there's no way this was just an oversight. I paid for this class expecting at least some level of instruction, but I left feeling like my presence didn't matter. If I wanted to paint outside alone with zero feedback, I could have done so for free.

I have been going to her for over 10 years and the level of respect I have for her is unmatched. She not only is an amazing human being, but she is an amazing artist herself who teaches you the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and beyond. I have made masterpieces with her and she guides you through it all! She puts her students first and makes sure they succeed in every single way. It is a privilege to be one of Rama's long standing students. I have also been able to help her grow her business and she is such a pleasure to work with. The staff here are super friendly, also patiently demonstrating the techniques. There is a parking lot to their rear entrance, very limited spots though, and you likely end up with street parking like I did for my few visits here. Overall, I'd certainly recommend this place to friends.

Watching my admittedly slightly-off-center ball of clay spin on the wheel as I shaped it into a not-bad-for-a-first-time bowl was both mesmerizing & meditative. The stations were laid out in such a manner that there was no possibility other than to have 1 of the 5 pairs of folks that showed up for the fully-booked 10-person class to be split (not sitting next to each other).

To add to this, we needed to be buzzed in so we could enter the premise. Once we were inside, the ambiance changed completely and there were a couple of IG worthy spots to take pictures while checking in. We opted for the spinning art experience since my daughter is too young to partake in the more elaborate ones. Originally, we booked for 4 people but one person got sick so we asked if we could transfer the funds for that person for another experience since there are no refunds. Luckily, was able to contact them the day before and added the bunny paint pour over experience. Ozzie was our guide and he was super kind and gentle with my daughter. We were instructed to pick 5 colors and then we donned our plastic bootie covers, apron and gloves. We entered our designated art room and was blown away by all the colors on the wall. There was even a tire swing which my daughter was all about. The spinning art experience was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing my daughter embrace the paint. I think her favorite part was when she had free rein to paint all over the walls. Overall, we had a great time. Only down side is that it does go by super quick and is quite an expensive experience for one hour. However, we get to have a treasured memento which is ready for pick up about 5 days afterwards and we did have a great time. That being said, #noragrats!
