We just moved to Windsor and we are so happy to find this place! Their ice cream is sooo good! I have tried many flavors and not yet get disappointed at any flavor! My favorite is Thai tea and coffee. The ice cream texture is so smooth. We always get the waffle cone and it's so good and crispy. The staff is so friendly. One thing I don't like is the ice cream taco. It looks like this ice cream taco got prepared in advance and kept frozen until someone order it. We tried the vanilla cookie dough but the taco part, ice cream and cookie dough were super hard to eat as it just came out of the freezer! I really would not recommend this ice cream taco unless you want to hurt your teeth (I mean it's not that bad but it was really hard for us to eat). It could just be me and my husband who don't like it but we rather go for their regular ice cream which is really delicious (and easier to eat). Also! their first topping is free so don't forget to get it! They still do not do samples which is sad. Hopefully they can start giving out samples again soon. The store is very nicely decorated. They also sell t shirts if you are interested. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Super small and crowded ice cream shop. They don't allow samples. The cookies and cream was so smooth and there were nice big chunks of oreo in it!

First time trying this place & it was so delicious! They have lots of original flavors including rotating seasonal flavors. I wanted to try something different, so I went with the seasonal Pistachio Amaretto with cheesecake bites it was yummy! They offer floats (definitely want to try a coffee float next time), smoothies, sundaes & ice cream in a cone or cup. Service is friendly & prices are what you'd expect to pay for homemade ice cream in Sonoma County.

It's time for ice cream. We came here after Easter Dinner. Cute place with whimsical decor inside and out. We had no idea the ice cream was hand made using liquid nitrogen but quickly learned this process causes the milk particles to stay small giving a creamy smooth texture. Perk for us! They offer a huge selection of fresh (creative and interesting flavors) sure to please anyone. We ordered a coffee float (special of the day), a strawberry scoop in a cup, and they were so kind to give us a tiny cone with whip cream for our dog-Plumette. Great service! Note: Love that Two Dog Ice Cream uses fresh organic Straus cream made from local organic dairy farms. Perk: Dog friendly with a tiny dog grass area.

This place is amazing! So many different options and everything can be changed or done just the way you like it and what it! The serving sizes are big, so be prepared for a lot of ice cream! The staff was so nice and didn't rush me when I took extra time to make my decision on what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back this summer to cool off with some ice cream!

Sundaes menu - everything looks/sounds dreamily decadent

My sweet 100th review goes to this sweet ice cream shop in Windsor. If you've read any of my other reviews you probably know by now that I have a salty tooth! But on occasion the sweet callings come. And I'm thankful that Two Dog Night Creamery was there to satisfy! Upon entering I was greeted by the sweet aroma of waffle cones and sugar...and the friendly staff. I browsed the photo menu of Sundaes - delicious looking but more decadent than I was up for today. I debated about the intriguing ice cream tacos but wanted to try a mix of flavors so opted in the end for a waffle cone. The waffle cones are LARGE and allow for up to 3 scoops. I got two: mint-Oreo (a yummy combo of two classic favorites) and vanilla, plus cookie dough topping. They use local Straus milk and liquid nitrogen (no air!) to make their organic, dense, creamy ice cream. Cool, literally! I loved the waffle cone and enjoyed the creaminess of the ice creams. The flavors are a little more subtle/subdued. My cone came to $8.50!!! I haven't purchased ice cream in awhile so that price tag surprised me, but it was a huge cone full of ice cream, all made with local, high-quality ingredients. If you're in Windsor looking for a tasty, cool treat, check out Two Dog Night Creamery in the same Shopping Center as Oliver's and PizzaLeah! You can enjoy your treats on their small outdoor patio, or take them across the street to the Windsor Town Green.

We visited today for our first time after my son had some dental work done and needed a cool treat! Little did we know about this place and what a cool (pun intended) experience it would be!!! I got him the cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles and mini marshmallows (#9) and after the show of watching it be made we tried it! Wow! I wish I had gotten my own! The service was friendly, the prices are high...BUT you certainly get what you pay for! Quality and delicious organic ice cream. Someone could totally turn this into a learning experience or field trip for science while getting to experience the liquid nitrogen process! We will definitely be back!

I was in the area and went inside because my husband and I were curious about the name of the place. With a name like that I thought there was bound to be ice cream for dogs. There wasn't any. I was surprised when the staff told me the meaning of the name. She said a two dog night is a saying. It means that when it's cold outside u need one dog on each side of u to keep warm. It is a two dog night! I have never heard of that saying before. My husband thinks it's clever. I ordered the lemon poppy Ice cream and my husband tried banana flavor. I thought the ice cream was ok. I like that it is clean and there are a lot of toppings to choose from. The staff was friendly.

Vegan dole whip, served up by my son. Get some!

Delicious, unique flavors made in-house! Try the Dole whip or the yuzu, or try them both together and add strawberry to that! Super refreshing and light. I'm just not much of a sweet food person so i rarely visit. That said, the next time i go, i'll try a sundae or a shake! The kids who work here are great!

    Build your own- I guess?

Visited this place tonight after seeing the yummy instagram pictures!! We ordered the sundaes, and I decided to add a scoop of peppermint to the peanut butter sundae, I thought it would have all the fixings as what I ordered just a switch one scoop for peppermint? Staff did not explain the cost of substitutions but I paid $9 for a "build your own" which they did not specify that... very pricey. A tiny TINY first scoop was made with nitrogen but then other scoops were from the bins- my guest and I were confused as to why that is; overall the ice cream was just good but won't be there that often to what the price was for an ice cream & as seen in the photo- about half was whip cream.

Thought this place was so cool! Loved how you could see them make the nitrogen ice cream in front of your eyes. The place was bright and inviting, and great for families and little ones. Workers worked fast as they had a long line, but remained friendly and patient. I give extra points because we arrived a little more than 5 minutes before they closed and didn't think we would be able to get anything. However, they let us order though they were in the midst of cleaning up. So nice! Overall, satisfied with the ice cream and everything that came along with this shop.

This is a great go to spot featuring some creamy, delicious All organic ice cream! Their ice cream tacos are delicious as well!!!! They also have shakes and sundaes! This creamery is actually one of my favorite spots. Their first original location was in Sebastopol and to this day has a line wrapped around the corner! They opened a location now in Windsor! Located conveniently in the Bell Village shopping center as Oliver's, five guys burger, pizza place and many more great spots is this delicious little frozen yogurt place. It is directly straight back from the entrance of the center. Right across the street from the town green! Perfect for popping in after the farmers market or an event on the town green. Or even if you live close by to just pop in - fro yo is an anytime deal here !!!! But really though I love their Halloween decor. I went there last year. They really make the effort to go the extra mile and give the place warmth in celebrating holidays! I love that about dining experiences. When they decorate according to holidays and make it super special for their guests. Hours: Wednesday 12-8PM Thursday 12-8PM Friday 12-9PM Saturday 12-9PM Sunday 12-8PM Monday 12-8PM Tuesday 12-8PM * VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE (in Mint chip and peanut butter)*

When she tried the door and realized it was closed, she completely broke down full-on tears, heartbroken. Out of nowhere, a kind gentleman came to the door, saw what was happening, and invited us in. Even though they were closed, he offered her some yogurt and instantly turned her entire night around. What could have been a disappointing end to her birthday became one of the most memorable moments, all because of their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. I think it's crazy they expect you to tip 20% to the kid that just rings up your total though. That is literally all they do, its self serve so its not like they do anymore than someone ringing you up at the mini mart. They also need more fresh fruit toppings. I love Raspberries, almonds and cheesecake chunks on my ice cream but they never have Raspberries anymore. They had strawberries and blueberries but they were kind of sickly looking. Please put out Raspberries again! Overall they have a nice store with indoor and outdoor seating and they keep everything very clean and they also make great flavors.

I would have loved a much thinner bread for the sandwich or it being panini style. My only pickle about this sandwich was the bread top was too thick and the chicken got lost in the sandwich. A stronger basil flavor in the pesto would have also done the sandwich justice. Overall, seems a good spot for lunch and dinner.
