This place was awesome, I saw so many vintage candies from my childhood. It took me back to the 80s for sure. I love the photos of the original Willy Wonka cast, and photos of the kids from the movie all grown up. The candy selection was great. The store was organized and not cluttered and the prices were reasonable. Definitely a fun place to stop in.

    Candy and more candy!!

Candy nostalgia! This is a real candy store and the perfect sweet summer destination! The moment you walk in --the vibe evokes a childhood nostalgia, visions of red-and-white striped uniforms and mouthwatering candy wishes for sweet treats of every flavor and color. This candy store has a wonderful selection of retro and vintage candy, locally sourced handcrafted chocolates, and several choices of classic bottled sodas. Perk: You will find everything here: candy, gelato, drinks, and gifts.

This place has all the candy you could ever want! We rolled up in here one late evening and filled out coffers with all that yummy sweetness! It's a good thing this place isn't closer to me because I would have the diabeetus for sure! I personally like the gummy sharks but have recently found some gummy frogs which will change the way you see life. Or not. But they're good. And if that's not for you, I'm sure they've got something to tickle your fancy :D

So you want to relive your childhood candy memories, look no further. This confectionery emporium has almost every candy every made including Charms Blow pops, Pop Rocks, Dots, Pez, Laffy Taffy etc. definitely a fun trip down memory lane, but be careful, I filled up a bucket to the tune of $60 bucks, so it's dangerous. Some of the candies are a little pricey hence 4 stars. Otherwise if you can control yourself, you should be ok! Definitely worth a visit or more!

This place is spectacular!!! Their selection spans across old time classics to international favorites and so much more! They have Charlie & the Chocolate Factory playing on a TV with seats to sit and watch and a case of gelato that is yummy too! I definitely plan to continue coming whenever I get the chance!

This shop is super cute ! And very nostalgic. I took my dad here and he had a great time. The only thing is , if I'm spending $8 on a candy bar , I expect it not to be expired :/ I bought both of these yesterday (April 13th 2024)

Right now I'm craving for some of the classic candy sold at Cravins Candy Emporium in the heart of Windsor's contemporary Town Green, which is a fairly newly created epicenter that makes up the center of the city of Windsor, with shops, stores, restaurants and apartments surrounding a large grassy lawn, where they host events like farmers markets. The Town Green is the place to be in Windsor and a small independently owned candy shop opening up here only solidifies the fact that the new "downtown" Windsor city center is the place to be. We came to Cravins Candy Emporium after a day of hiking in nearby Shiloh Ranch Regional Park and we were looking for a nearby place to have a hearty lunch and when we arrive Cravins Candy Emporium was practically calling our name as a quick place to stop and satiate that beckoning sweet tooth of ours. The whole concept of Cravins Candy Emporium is brilliant, like any other sweet shop they have all of the traditional freshly made candies and other sweets like dipped chocolates and taffy in addition to the old standbys like licorice and Jelly Belly's and M&M's. But they also sell that hard to find stuff like chocolates and candy bars that you can find only when shopping in a foreign country. I was tempted to by everything I saw and it takes a while to see everything which makes us all sort of kids in candy stores at that moment. For those needing a brief respite, they even have a small theatre seating section where they play the classic 1971 film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" on loop. This time, although I wanted to buy everything, I managed to resist and only bought Cherry Ice Chips in a tin. Thinking these were classic candies from long era since passed, it turns out they were fairly recently featured on the television series Shark Tank! So it just goes to show not only do they sell the classics but they are also on the pulse of what's hot in the candy world at Cravins Candy Emporium, and they'll make sure to purchase it wholesale for their customers! No mention of Cravins Candy Emporium can go without the fact that they are a gelato shop as well, which in a perfect world makes them just about the perfect company. The prices aren't super cheap, but their not too bad for those looking to cleanse their pallet with a kid's size for $3.50. I got a caramel flavored scoop in a cup and was more than satisfied with that. Prices don't come cheap for the candy either, which actually makes buying a lot of supplies to satisfy one's sweet tooth that much easier, or harder, depending on how much one intends to purchase upon entering Cravins Candy Emporium. It's just the perfect experience for those looking for the perfect small town in the heart of wine country, and one not to be passed up upon.

It's got all the things that make my mind go 'ding!' when I see it. Words like: ricotta, smoked salmon, avocado, eggs. All words that make me take a second look. I had come because I saw they had an egg salad toast, (I am an egg salad fiend!) but there were so many yummy options, it was a difficult decision. I ended up ordering the smoked salmon toast, which had cream cheese, cucumbers, amazingly high quality smoked salmon, capers, pickled shallots, and it was supposed to have microgreens, but they were out so, they put avocado on top on levain bread. It was seriously delicious. So fresh and high quality, portioned perfectly for lunch. As I get older, I kinda just want a well-portioned lunch that's healthy. I love my greasy heavy options every once in a while, but for 'everyday fare' - you want something that is good, high quality and doesn't weigh you down. This is perfect for that! With everything so expensive nowadays, I'd rather pay a decent price for something high quality and well portioned... there's so much mediocrity out there, it makes me tired thinking I have to pay $20 for lunch nowadays and it's not even that good. ... Might as well stay home and heat up a trader joe's frozen meal. :P But sometimes, I don't wanna do that! So for those days, I guess I'll be coming here to try another menu item. Plus, the cafe is cute, and a place you want to sit in and eat your food, making it comfy. And I like comfy! I need comfy, nowadays. Glad I found this hidden gem! Also, the owner is super nice, and clearly cares about his food. And that counts for a lot!
