Brian at Two Brothers Auto repair on route 112 in Patchogue NY completely ripped me off telling me I needed rear brakes and rotors to pass inspection and my daughter just told me she got them replaced in December 2025 when I was out of state so that was only 2,000 miles ago so yeah this guy and this shop will take advantage of you don't use them. I found out about this place on Groupon. The owner Brian honored the $15 price. Brian even reminded me that I was due for a State inspection. I was planning on doing it later this month, but Brian convinced me to do it at the time of the oil change. Brian impressed me more. We also negotiated the price of the wiper blade replacement. Brian impressed me exquisitely. Brian is skilled salesman. He has excellent negotiation skills, so if you are not satisfied with the price he is charging you, you are welcome to negotiate! read more

So I've been going to this place for about 2 months, not by choice. Apparently when you buy a used car down the block at Stevens 112 Ford they give two brothers their repair orders. So they work hand and hand on screwing people over! After buying my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie a few months ago with only 55k miles on it at Stevens and no longer than 45 minutes later my tranny blew Stevens asked me to bring it to two brothers, I did and they put a used tranny in it. 2 days later from the used tranny being installed that one blew also. At that point they sent it out for a rebuild tranny. It was fine. A week later from that ordeal I called Stevens and told them that my brakes were grinding already and my step bars were extremely loose and one of my children are going to get injured. After the used car manager which is a total prick said too bad we aren't responsible. I called the manager at 112 and he had two brothers put a bandaid on it. Literally. Two brother's instead of doing the right thing because they didn't want to lose the account, they put wood shims behind the step bars for a very temporary fix and only changed one side of the truck for brakes. Now here we are about 3 months later, all the brakes are shot, wood shims fell out and I only put roughly 3k miles on it. They are a joke!! Never deal with Stevens or two brothers. My next step will be to put a complaint in with the BBB and also take an ad out on the local paper about the way these 2 businesses work. Thank you for reading James. I took my car in after my husband slide into a curb- we thought it would be the control arm and maybe the hub- they had the car for a full week during this week they said the axil also needed to be replaced I was skeptical but said okay since my husband has been going here. I go to pick up my car and there was a loud vibrating sound anytime I go over 50 so I called and the shop and took it back where they proceeded to tell me that there is something wrong with the back tire. My car is a 2019 Nissan that never had problems until I brought it there. Between the unresponsiveness, the untimely turnaround and now additional issues with my car this place is a rip off- they are not transparent, they do not have integrity and they try to squeeze every cent out of you. Tried upselling my girlfriend and I a transfer case for my f150 when it just needed fluid granted it has a leak they could have been honest told me it had a leak and the case was empty but instead I was told they told me I need a new transfer case at the cost of $750.00 and that "it could go in a matter of days especially at highway speeds". I went to a reputable shop and was told I have a leak and they put fluid it for $18.00. I will no longer be bringing my truck to 2 brothers for service because I feel like they betrayed my trust I am new to the area and was looking for a good mechanic and unfortunately 2 brothers is not it ! read more

The service is absolutely horrific here. They left the cap of my oil tank and spilled oil everywhere without cleaning it up. I called the owner who promised to give me my money back but he hasn't returned my call in two weeks or has try to amend the situation. Do not go here for service. I went for a simple oil change and they left the cap open with oil spilling everywhere within the engine which could've caused a fire and on top of my windshield. I've had to have multiple car washes because I can't get the oil off in my windshield wipers don't work. I've tried to speak with the owner who is promised to call back but it's been a week now and these people are a joke, do not go here for your service. read more

Came here to get an inspection. Everything passed except I needed one new windshield wiper and one new taillight bulb. (No big deal) however I was charged $50 EXTRA!! For ONE windshield wiper and ONE taillight!! Total ripoff! Won't be back. read more

Worst place I've been to.. brought my Lexus here to get the starter done got my car back the wheel alignment is messed I took it back 2 different times which took hours each time and they still didn't fix it and the car is shaking and I know I didn't bring it there that way and all the owner could say to me was well it's better rite...terrible I wouldn't recommend anyone bring they car there they scamming people out they money and they don't even really know what they are doing in my opinion but if you know best find another place that's more professional read more

STAY AWAY! Do not go here unless you want to pay a lot of money for your car to still not work and to get a box cutter pulled on you. Extremely unprofessional business. After over a month of our car being their we finally got It to a new mechanic where we will have to pay thousands to get it fixed. We brought it there to get inspection done and passed. It wasn't passing because of a censor so we were willing to fix the problem to get the inspection. Two weeks later car was finished we picked it up, the guy was thirsty for the cash, drove away car was making noises it never made before. Brought it back because it stopped driving. their story kept changing on what was wrong with it, we paid 1600$ and car was not drivable after pick up. We go to get the car and bring it somewhere else because we no longer felt comfortable and the owner threw the keys at my husband and said get your fucking car out of here. Another employee called my husband a racial slur and told him he would slice him up. My husband called the cops and got his car towed else where. Now the new mechanic said they took our drive shaft out of car!! Stole a very expensive part !! An absolute nightmare. read more

Last year I bought a used truck from Carisma, the dealership up the road. Took it here first to get it checked out and they told me everything was great. Paid them $40. No issues at all and I should definitely buy it. Now I can't pass inspection because the frame has so much rot. There was even a big piece of duct tape covering a giant hole in the frame. Either they're terrible at what they do or they're in cahoots with the dealership. Now I'm out $6,000. Stay away. read more

Called about their $240 (normally $480) brake special on Groupon. Was told this was PER AXLE. That means their GROUPON price for the whole vehicle is about $500 (almost $1,000 normally). But they advertise a $79.99 brake special per axle on their website. Was told it's "the same price" LOL. You are MUCH better off going to another place, as I can assure you, brakes should not cost that much (even if replacing rotors and not resurfacing). read more

As most of you know, walking into an auto repair shop on a Saturday morning is hectic and most times not fun. It is all to common in the auto repair industry to feel like a burden and most repair shops are not happy to see you. When I walked into Two Brothers, it was a completely different experience. The brother (Keith) behind the counter was calm, cool and collected. He said sure no problem I will help you out. He explained they were very busy and their was a wait time, but at no point did he make me feel like I was inconveniencing them. I was prepared to drop my car off to ease any pressure, I told him what I needed, and they called me the same day to say the car is done. What a relief! They had a friendly smile when I walked in, and a friendly smile when I left. I thank them for their quality service, and not making me feel like a burden. I took my Subaru there a few months ago to have both rear wheel bearings replaced. They not only saved me a lot of money compared to other places I called but they also changed my rear brakes at a very minimal cost. They did GREAT work, they were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be taking my cars there in the future and I highly recommended them to anyone that asks. read more
