The very next day ALL the leafs of that specific species fell off! The other plants were fine , I then called Saturday the very next day to ask about either an exchange or a refund and I spoke to a representative named Mike whose immediate response was "no! there's something wrong with your tank" / "all sales are final" Mike offered no help or tips or nothing just simply blame my tank, which already has shrimp and fish and other vegetation that is doing just fine........ Definitely do not recommend buying from here unless you know for a fact, if something doesn't work out, you're screwed no refunds, exchanges, or any help. Bad bad business practice

Aquatic Collection is a standout shop if you're serious about reefing. Every time I've been in, the…read morestaff has been extremely helpful, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable. They take the time to answer questions and make sure you're making the right decisions for your tank instead of just trying to sell you something. One thing that really sets them apart is the products they carry. They have items on hand that you don't typically see at other stores--for example, I was able to find a roller mat gearbox repair kit there, which is something most places don't even stock. That kind of attention to what reefers actually need goes a long way. Their coral selection is also on another level. They consistently have more unique pieces than just about anywhere else I've seen, which makes it a great place to find something different and add real character to your tank. One thing I really appreciate is that the owners are always there and involved. You can tell they genuinely care about the store, the livestock, and making sure customers have a good experience. Overall, it's a very well-run store with a strong mix of knowledge, customer service, and unique inventory. Definitely a go-to spot if you're looking for both hard-to-find equipment and standout corals.

Update 3/12/2026: I…read morerecently bought a house in San Jose that came with a pond. Unfortunately the previous owner had passed away and left no instructions, so I had absolutely no idea where to start. I've never had a pond before and knew nothing about how to maintain one. I remember having a great experience with Aqua lab back in 2016 so I called them back up and Kent was incredibly helpful from the start. He took the time to walk me through everything and explain how the system works without ever making me feel dumb for asking very basic questions. We decided to do a one-time deep cleaning to restore the pond. Before the scheduled cleaning, Kent stopped by to check out the system and figure out what actually needed to be done. He ended up fixing a broken part, doing a full deep clean of the pond and the filter/skimmer, and adding beneficial water additives. Since I live about 3 hours away, he kept me updated throughout the process with photos and messages, which I really appreciated. He even left me some pond tools to use and offered to come back another time, at no extra charge, when I'm at the house so he can walk me through the system in person and show me how to do the regular monthly maintenance myself (or help with that if I decide I'd rather have him handle it). His pricing was very fair and actually came in lower than other local shops I contacted. Overall just a really great experience. I've attached before and after photos of the pond. Highly recommend Aqua Lab and working with Kent. What a great guy!

STOP, DON'T waste time looking for other aquarium services. You found the BEST one, I promise…read more Since this review will be long, thought I would emphasize on the point of my review from the beginning... instead of making you read through everything. Many businesses will help you buy a new tank... but have you ever tried to get rid of one? Not just any old fish tank but a giant one, where you could probably teach your kid to swim in it... We are talking about 400-gallon fish tank that was built way too DIY, extremely heavy, filled with livestock, ton of sand and rocks. If you are not into fish, this is easily 4,000 lbs... with many surprise attacks from the DIY "Offense Team". You really want someone who knows what they are doing... unless you want a mini flood of saltwater in your living room.. I contacted MANY businesses including junk removal but wasn't satisfied due to poor communications, lack of planning/professionalism. Thankfully, I read about Ocean Treasures Servicing on social media and did my research/stalking via FB, IG, and... reef forums and found only great things. The owner himself, Daniel, came down all the way from SF for a in person consultation then emailed me a meticulous thought-out plan on step by step of removing the giant tank. The Game Day - Daniel came with 3 team members + 1 cargo van + 1 U-Haul (this thing was huge..) Everyone from the team treated the house like their own, laid out floor protectant all over, swept every bit of sand before attempting to move any heavy items (a little sand that gets dragged can make quiet an impression on your floor), safely caught all the living creatures (all alive :D), and finished the job as if they literally CTRL+X the whole thing out of the house. Ocean Treasures Servicing is simply AMAZING. You would think after all the trouble of getting rid of a tank, I would be done... but NOPE! Since I found the best team I can trust, I am in the process of building a replacement one that is professional made by Daniel and his team...... No more DIY, unleveled, loud sounds, and random cuts from DIY stuff.... Don't Do it yourself, it's not worth it.. Trust Daniel and Ocean Treasures Servicing and just enjoy the hobby.

I'm am a professional dog trainer with a BS in animal science and a background in pre veterinary…read moremedicine for both large and small animals. Finding a good vet that is at a privately owned hospital has been a challenge and after reading their website and hearing good things from a couple of colleagues, I drove over an hour each way for appointments with each of my dogs. I saw Dr. Cauvel and was very impressed with his knowledge, he recognized it was better for me to handle my super excitable malinois vs have her go into the back for her vaccination, and most importantly, when I presented him with a more complex issue on one of my dogs and I presented my thoughts, he didn't treat me like my background was somehow a threat like I have experienced before. He went out of his way to review some information and photos I emailed after the appointment and we decided on what to try. I was really thrilled with my experience with this vet at this practice with both of my dogs, and despite the drive will definitely be coming back for future needs.

I strongly advise against trusting this clinic with any major surgery. I brought my rescue cat here…read morefor treatment of nose cancer, which they had already diagnosed as being present throughout his entire nose. Despite this, they completely ignored one side of his nose during treatment and committed multiple acts of severe professional negligence. 1. Failure to Follow Agreed Treatment Plan: I paid for and consulted on an aggressive, complete nose removal. The consulting veterinarian explicitly stated that the surgery "would be a waste" unless the entire nose was removed because leaving any cancer behind would cause it to return aggressively. Instead, a general practice surgeon--whom I was never permitted to speak with--made a unilateral mid-surgery decision to perform a minimal "scrape," leaving 2/3 of the tumor and visible cancerous bulbs intact. 2. Complete Violation of Informed Consent: If the surgeon did not feel capable or comfortable performing the agreed-upon nose removal once my cat was sedated, they had a strict medical and ethical obligation to call me from the operating room. By failing to contact me, they denied me my legal right to decline a substandard procedure, wake my cat up, and immediately transfer him to a qualified veterinary oncologist or specialist who could perform the surgery correctly. 3. Total Lack of Post-Operative Communication: When I picked up my cat after major surgery, the clinic provided absolutely zero communication or discharge instructions. I had to discover via text message that they failed to complete the agreed-upon service. They then falsely claimed the cancer was only on one side, directly contradicting their own previous diagnosis and what was clearly visible. Because of their failure to remove the tumor as promised, the cancer returned with extreme aggression. I had to euthanize my cat because this clinic robbed him of his only opportunity to receive a proper, complete surgery from a qualified professional. I have the full text message logs, emails, and images confirming this timeline. A formal complaint regarding this professional negligence and failure to obtain informed consent is being filed directly with the State Veterinary Board. Do not trust them with your animal's life. Response to owner : There is a fundamental difference between a "medically complex" adjustment and a complete change in surgical scope without owner consent. The explicit, documented purpose of Tom Tom's consultation was a complete nose removal. I was explicitly told by your staff that a partial removal or "minimal scrape" would not be effective given the aggressive nature of his cancer. Yet, while he was sedated, Dr. Eileen made the unilateral decision to pivot to a minimal scrape, leaving active cancerous bulbs behind, without ever calling me to get my informed consent. By failing to call me from the operating room, you denied me my legal right as a client to decline a sub-standard procedure. Had I been contacted, I would have immediately instructed the clinic to wake him up so I could transfer him to a qualified veterinary oncologist or specialist who was capable of performing the agreed-upon surgery. Furthermore, your clinic attempted to retain 100% of the funds for a complete nose removal until I forced accountability through a series of extensive emails. Your own text message records confirm that the surgeon only focused on one side of the nose, directly contradicting the agreed-upon treatment plan. This is a clear issue of professional negligence and a failure to obtain informed consent, not a misunderstanding of "expectations." I will not be having further private discussions with management to help cover up this clinic's lack of informed consent. The time for discussion was when Tom Tom was on the operating table. All further correspondence from me will be handled directly through the formal complaint I am filing with the State Veterinary Board.
