    My First Easter

Wednesday arrived home November 1st at 8 weeks old. We have been to Two Boston's at least one or two times a week. She has well over 70 toys, but has never chewed one piece of our belongings or home. All the girls are amazing! They were sooo helpful when Wednesday was going through some GI issues, too. I couldn't have asked for a better crowd. 9/5/18 Wednesday Addams 1st Bday!! Thanks for all the fun 2 Boston's through out the last 1o months and for her bday!! We took some pics, and more to come. We bought a few toys today and going back for the bday weekend extravaganza tomorrow and prob Sat and Sun too. Dogs have made there way to out do children now.

They had such a lovely bakery selection which my dog definitely enjoyed on his special day!

We visited Two Bostons for my dogs first birthday. The shop had a wonderful selection of toys, treats, chews, apparel, and more! The worker was was sweet and helpful. We really enjoyed our experience and will be back :)

Happy Bella after here bakery treats here.

I have recently developed this weird obsession about what my BF's dog eats. I'm convinced the crap from the grocery stores will kill her. Since our life pretty much revolves around Bella we decided to look into better food. We happened to be walking by this store and stopped in. The staff was so helpful! They helped us pick out food that Bella loves!!! I even bought her a few treats from the bakery. Bella has been eating better and seems to be feeling better. I'm excited to go back and buy more. I will say some of the accessories are REALLY high. Unless you have money to burn I would avoid sweaters, etc here.

Lloyd loves his water buffalo horn! A little smelly but you adapt after the first day :)

I spent weeks visiting aquarium stores around the Chicagoland area trying to find the right fish…read moretank and setup for my home. While several stores had nice displays, I often felt like I was being sold whatever they had in stock rather than getting advice tailored to my needs. Tank It Easy was a completely different experience. The staff took the time to understand my budget, space, experience level and what I wanted to achieve with my aquarium. They walked me through different options, answered all of my questions and never made me feel pressured into making a purchase. Their knowledge of both freshwater and saltwater aquariums was impressive, and it was clear they genuinely care about helping customers succeed. Thanks to their guidance, I ended up with a setup that was exactly what I was looking for. If you're considering an aquarium and want honest advice from people who truly know the hobby, I highly recommend Tank It Easy.

"Tank It Easy" helps me take the ideas I have for my home aquarium and realize them while making…read moresure I maximize my enjoyment of it while sharing it with others. First of all, the owner and head of the design team, Brian, always provides excellent advice on equipment, aquarium fish, invertebrates and especially corals - and the supply in his store is outstanding! (Take a peak at the picture I took of a scene in one of the shop's display tanks as an example). What's really great is his vast knowledge on the behavior, dietary needs, and compatibility with other tank mates you can choose. He's so generous in helping you learn and he does so while always thinking of you first, and what's right for your aquarium and your budget! I sincerely feel I have a friend in the business, which is why I prefer to "Tank It Easy"!

Especially around customer service, the amount of time it takes to adopt a pet and if the pet was still adoptable once we got through the process. Well, we DIDN'T have ANY of the bad experiences others reported. The customer service upon entry from START to FINISH was OUTSTANDING. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the front desk with excellent customer service. The 'cat' coordinator who took us to the cat section was VERY knowledgeable about the cats and spent an incredible amount of time with us. We didn't feel rushed at all. P.A.W.S followed through with everything they said they would do. The whole process from seeing our little Whisper to picking her up and taking her to her new home was six days (and that's because two of the days we weren't available). The process went very smoothly. They answered our questions in person and returned our phone calls and emails timely. They are very concerned about their pets and the homes their animals are placed in. We feel really honored to house one of the pets from their facility. Thank you P.A.W.S for everything you do for animals!

I'm disappointed with my experience trying to adopt through PAWS…read more I first visited the shelter to meet Neptune, but he was being housed in the stray section rather than the adoptable area because there was no available space. I was told that if I wanted to meet him, I needed to submit an adoption application and schedule an appointment. I submitted my application on June 6 and did everything I was asked to do. Since then, I have called PAWS at least twice a week and sent multiple follow-up emails asking for an update on my application and whether I could schedule a visit with Neptune. I also reached out about two other cats but never received a response regarding them either. I completely understand that PAWS is short-staffed, and I truly appreciate the work they do for the animals. However, communication with prospective adopters is just as important. Even a quick email saying that my application was still being reviewed, that there was a waitlist, or that another adopter was ahead of me would have been appreciated. Instead, after nearly a month of waiting and repeatedly trying to get in touch, on July 2 I finally received a very short email simply stating that Neptune had been adopted. While I'm genuinely happy that he found a home, it was extremely disappointing to spend weeks trying to communicate with no meaningful updates, only to receive a one-line email at the end. Also, I dont understand not trying to maintain a good communication and just keep the adoptees in the loop, it is actually frustrating when there is nothing i could do rather than emailing and calling them, it just is not fair. ( I am saying this based on all the previous google/yelp) reviews i have had, it does seem like this is an recurring problem and there has been nothing done to solve this, just seems suspicious at last. I hope PAWS can improve its communication with prospective adopters. Many people are genuinely trying to provide loving homes for these animals, and applicants deserve timely updates, even if the answer is simply that a cat has already been adopted or that there is a waitlist. Better communication would make the adoption experience much more respectful and transparent for everyone involved.
