Yum! Twisted Wings is a contender for best wings in town. They have over 30 different sauces and they are excellent. They'll let you try samples of sauces. I recommend doing that because their standard buffalo sauce (which was alright) was the worst of the sauces that I sampled. I ordered hot honey wings and loaded fries. The hot honey wings were dynamite. The loaded fries were good too - the fries and seasoning were great and the nacho cheese was okay. The staff was nice and patient with me since I was a newbie. The restaurant consists of a take-out counter so you have to place your order to go, which takes about 10 minutes. They have a couple of picnic tables outside. Chilly Water Brewing is across the street if you get bored waiting for your order. There isn't a parking lot so you have to park on the street. They're open until midnight, but I would feel weird going here after dark because it's not in the greatest part of town. read more

Noticed this place when visiting an establishment across the street and made a mental note. The wings were good, similar to most other wing spots but a little too heavy on the bbq sauce for me. I was greeted promptly when I walked in. I did a pickup order that was ready when I arrived and my fries were still hot and fresh. Nice little neighborhood walk in Wing spot.. had a comedy show at Butler and wanted a quick spot in the area and stumbled across this spot. Got 5 garlic teriyaki and 5 pineapple jalapeno wings and some good ol mozz sticks. Service was good.. no issues .. I really wanted to love the pineapple jalapeño but just tasted sweet gelatin more so but the garlic teriyaki was great !! The wings were a nice size, nothing small which was nice .I really want to go back and try more flavors . Will be back !! read more

Absolutely, Deliciously, Overwhelming flavors!!! The manager was really nice. My friend and I had never been there, and he was patient with us one night while it seemed like they were really busy. They have so many sauces including dry rub wings. The sauces we had were honey bbq, garlic bbq, and hot bbq. They were all really good. The garlic and hot bbq had great flavor and mild to hot heat. In a search to find food at 11PM on Saturday, I remembered noticing this place on my way home from work a few times. Their prices were really reasonable so I placed an order online (I will probably just call in my order going forward) and headed that way. When I arrived my food was ready right on time, so I grabbed my food and headed home. It smelled so good I of course ate a couple fries in the car. Their fries are more of a crispy texture, but not quite breaded. The WINGS were fantastic, and still hot when I got home 10 minutes later. I got traditional wings because I have a mild Gluten Sensitivity. The wings were a consistent quality and fried well to give just enough crunch under the sauce. I got the BBQ and the Pineapple Jalapeño. The BBQ was good and the Pineapple jalapeño had the flavor of jalapeño but was not spicy at all in my opinion. All of the sauces tasted homemade to me. I definitely will be going here for wings here on out, and look forward to trying other sauces and seeing if they have a non-crispy fry. If you are also tired of the poor quality, consistency, and service of the chain wings spots, then definitely try this place.
