The atmosphere outside of the attraction was very friendly as had a bon fire and food truck so you could sit by the fire and enjoy food.

I give it 5 stars for sure! The only issue I had was that the staff didn't mention to clients to wear a mask if they decide to roll their windows down only because I am from Los Angeles and the drive thru haunts I've been to mentions to wear a mask if you roll your windows down. Due to hard times, it is a blessing to have a drive thru haunt to get into the Halloween spirit! Anyway, I give major props to the scareactors that were involved in the drive thru haunt! I went the day before Halloween with my brother-in-law and my husband as I am visiting family in town. We wanted to do something Halloween-ish and found this gem. I am glad we went! I went to two drive through haunts in LA and one in San Diego and the San Diego one and this haunt were the best ones! Although I do give this one major thumbs up! (More than the San Diego one actually!) We were scared back to back, had chainsaw guys follow us, Chucky stalking my hubby in the passenger seat, scary clowns, you name it! The website didn't give much information and there are no You Tube videos in this so we were surprised. This small town haunt is pretty epic (the drive thru)! We didn't do the others that were available due to the pandemic but the drive thru was very entertaining. We loved it! It was cheap ($25 per car) and lasted around 10 minutes. I wouldn't mind flying to Michigan to do this around Halloween! This haunt is on top of my list next to Universal Halloween Horror Nights and Knott's Scary Farm! TIP: Get there early! The line of cars can get VERY long the later you go!

They utilized the hospital in most of the attraction, which made the whole experience even more creepy! I went for a private event, but it opened this weekend. I recommend everyone to go check out this historical site. So much has happened here in the past, you can feel the grounds energy as you pull into the parking lot. Looking up at those old windows, you can just feel someone or something peering from one! Go check out Eloise Asylum! The best haunted attraction in the state of Michigan!

This Haunted Building/House was the longest one I ever walked through with many freights and lots…read moreanimated monsters or zombies. Just when you exit the building you think your done but you down to the basement of the building and it was just as long as the first floor was. Definitely worth the money you spend. Also waiting in line for the second half there were people dressed in costume trying to scare you. But you can get them to do a selfie. I do think the exit out the back way needs to be lit up more and more direction as how to exit once you're out of the parking lot. I went there for an "Elite" yelp event which also had food and drinks. You also saw a lot of characters in the main area in which had no issue. It was a great event! Hope you like it too. I love all things horror related and the escape rooms were a nice added bonus. There were plenty of guests screaming and being scared which is always fun, but it almost seemed like they needed more workers in some areas. There were so many places that they could have had people jump out or simply be. . .and they didnt. . It was still fun, but I wouldnt say that I thought it was scary in the slightest. The escape rooms were cool! I love doing them!! Even though I wouldnt put this up to the same level as some others that I have been, I loved going here and think its a great fun place to go for October. I would def go back!

The Old Whitley County Jailhouse is a massive sight to behold. This elaborate structure was…read morecompleted in 1875 by architect J.C. Johnson. At the time, the building had a dual purpose to serve as the county jail and it housed the county sheriff. The reason for this setup was so the sheriff could keep an eye on his prisoners. The jailhouse was in operation for many decades. The latter part of its time, the jailhouse served as a county office up until the mid-80's when they moved their operations to modern facilities a block away. Today, the jailhouse lies dormant 11 months out of the year. Age and neglect has left this building in a deteriorated state. The current owner repurposed the jailhouse to operate once a year as a haunted house in October. You will find haunted house props strewn along the exterior but don't be fooled by the façade. Paranormal investigators have visited the space and they lay claim to believe ghostly activity lies within its confines. These investigators believe they are the ghosts of former inmates, most notably, the tortured soul of their notorious prisoner, Charles Butler. When we arrived, the building was closed for the season. From the outside, I was already getting a creepy vibe simply from taking these photos. I kid you not. I did feel a bit of the chills and I was at least 25 feet away from the entrance doors. Brave souls beware and prepare to be spooked!
