We've come here several times throughout the last few years as our family found a local campground that we love. Our last experience at Twisted Vine was so incredibly stupid and infuriating that we found a new site for the family trips. We called on Friday night to ask if they were still dog friendly. We've taken the dogs here on at least two prior occasions and never had any issues but with COVID, we understood that things have changed. We were assured on the phone that the patio was still dog friendly. We piled into the car and made the trek over only to be turned around at the door. That is frustrating enough, but when the moron behind the counter started talking to my wife, she said they never allowed dogs on the patio (news to us, and our dogs who have been there) and that we must have confused them with the place next door (which we have never been to). We noted that we called the night before and the idiot shouted 'no you didn't, you would have talked to me!' My wife pulled out her phone and read off the number she called. Dumbo confirmed that was their number and STILL told us we didn't call (wtf?). She did seem to remember that we also asked for two cases of a particular wine on the same call (that supposedly didn't happen) which were ready for us to pick up. Do yourself a favor and bring some wine if you come visit Kane. Spend your money at the excellent brewery 5 doors down and the butcher shop a half mile down the road. Save your time and money and skip this place. read more

Normally I would give at least 4 stars, rarely do I give more but had a couple surprises this evening. We have been coming here for quite a while and most often we have brought other guests with us. Sadly, the menu changed this last year and it was so delicious. The smoked foods really made the place different. Thankfully the new menu is very nice and the taste is quality. Very good. Now for the surprises I must mention. First, we took my mother in law and she ordered the chicken special. We should have asked the price but when you see price points less than $20 you assume that chicken over pasta would not be $29.95. I mean, we could have had a nice Ribeye next door for that amount of money. But still, it was a fabulous meal and different which makes it nice. Chicken was nice and tender too. I had the Rueben and it was smaller than some places but tons of meat. Very good. Definitely a positive. But to be charged for extra thousand island I was surprised. My husband had the Trifecta and didn't realize the fries were so spicy but he enjoyed everything else Now to end on a good note: The drink we had was amazing!! You must try the Twisted Pumpkin Russian. Soooo good!! We may try some other places next time until we move past the comment the waitress had when we questioned the price of the chicken special since it was never mentioned. We have always tipped well, told people to go and took many there with us each time. It just didn't sit well with us this time even though she has always been very friendly. Still recommend trying this place no matter what. Drinks were well priced and many more positives for sure. Oh and the patio during warmer weather is nice too. read more

Wouldn't give a bad review but not necessarily anything to write home about In Terms of the food. The drink on special was raspberry vodka lemonade which was nicely presented but did not have any taste of vodka in it. Ordered beer cheese pretzels and the Trinidad burger. The burger came with fries. The fries were fresh and tasty. The pretzels were fried and could have used some salt out of the fryer. The beer cheese was ok, slightly coagulated like it had been on too hot or too long. Tasted ok. The burger had pulled pork lettuce tomato cheese and a type of sauce. The burger was thick and tasted ok. The pork was on the sweet side. The lettuce was wilty. Burger again was just ok. Might not be first choice but would order again. All in all everything was just ok. The interior was neat apart from the incessant amount of flies constantly biting at us. But to be fair they are bad everywhere this year. Probably won't be the first choice when thinking of food or dining out. Not sure how the wine is. read more

Nice place and staff was friendly. I had the pulled pork nachos and my husband had the pretzel sandwich and sweet potato fries. The food was ok and well priced. My pulled pork was lukewarm and there was enough to cover about half the chips they gave me. My husbands sandwich was good, but needed more flavor or a different cheese. The sweet potato fries were good and went great with the brown sugar butter. Beer was good. We didn't try the wine or rum. read more

Well the food itself it was not too bad but the prices for the fries were absolutely out rages the large fries were barely a handful and it cost three dollars I was just very unpleased with that also where we were sitting it was very loud and it looked unfinished also it was very echoey and hard to talk to one another we also went there for wing night which for 10 cents a wing sounds pretty good but then you realize that they only have four flavors which was very disappointing to me and the thing that really threw me off about the wing flavors was that I looked it up on their website for the menu and they had so many more flavors so I was just very unsatisfied with that so all in all if you don't like to talk to your friends and family over dinner then I would highly suggest this place if not then you should probably go somewhere else read more

Nice choice of beers for a beer flight. Their bread sticks, with cheese sauce, were the best we've ever tasted! Also had a chicken flatbread which was also good.... kept the extra cheese sauce to dip the flatbread. Staff was very friendly too. read more

This is a nice place for dinner and a drink! We had some beer, wine and a cocktail....it was all great. The pretzels with beer cheese are the bomb!! So yummy. The Ruben and burger were good too!! Nice staff and a huge variety of home-made beer! read more
