Make her a meal with OCP. She'll be impressed. Trust me. Also their ramen noodles are awesome. Same goes for their ramen kits. The owner of OCP (Gary) made me ramen once with one of their vegan ramen kits and it was out of this world. My only issue with it is they give a bit more veg than you really need. What's also awesome is fresh pasta takes like 1 minute to cook. The efficiency and taste are definitely worth the extra price when compared to boxed pasta.

And what a great decision it was! The gentleman at the market was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various pastas. Ohio City Pasta sells the pasta for $2/serving. And they are very generous sized servings. The amount shown in my picture is a little less than one full serving. The ravioli and gnocchi were a little more expensive but still seemed to be a very fair price. I went ahead and bought the last three servings of their pappardelle and began to dream about what I should make with it. I decided on a Turkish inspired squash blossoms pappardelle and it was delicious! The pasta's texture was perfect and the instructions on the bag cooked it for the perfect amount of time. Ohio City Pasta definitely makes a product I would recommend to anyone and provides a way to take your meals up to that next level!

Half sheet pepperoni. Very reasonably priced at $22. And 2 mediums. A gluten free cheese and veggie. We picked up at the appropriate time. Owner was very nice and we were getting our pizzas hot as they were coming out of the oven. It's a little shop that is take out, or delivery. No dining area. Owner gave us an extra coupon which was very nice. I am told the gluten free pizza was good and crispy. Tasted homemade not frozen. The sheet pizza was very cheesy and I liked that. Kinda thickish too. The veggie was chock full of every veggie. And the crust also on the thickish side. With that many toppings the dough seemed kinda mushy but it was cooked through. I like a crispy crust but it wasn't bad. Sauce was neutral not sweet but not too savory. Lots of cheese and good amount of toppings. Prices were about average and a coupon always helps. Overall, everyone liked the pizza and we devoured most of it. This is a return. We'd go back and it's close to our house which helps.

Once was when I was living in Chicago and I was only in town for a quick trip... but I legit brought a cooler to put the pasta in so I could take it back with me. Easily equal to Chagrin Falls, Chardon Square or any other in northeast Ohio. We arrived and parked along the main street, strolled down the block to the front door. Upon entering you desend the stairway to your left. At the bottom you pass through a glass door into a very nicely appointed dining room (see attached picture). This is a "below the sidewalk" establishment and gives off a smokey, speakeasy type vibe... very classy. As you enter you will discover the hostess is at the far end of the room where the entrance from the rear parking lot is. Evidently that is where the majority of customers enter. I prefer the front... no matter. She saw us right away and immediately walked over and greeted our party. We were quickly seated at our table for the evening. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu. The regular and evening specials menus are more than satisfactory to make any pallet happy. We began with "Deviled Eggs" topped with Caviar, need I say, they were marvelous. Also, the "Oysters Rockefeller" were excellent. The choice of entree's are very nice. My wife chose "Chilean Seabass" Spice Rubbed Carrot/Ginger Puree Haricot Verts Almond/Yuzu Chimichurri. I went with my absolute favorite, "Lamb Chops" Herb Crusted Dijon Crispy Gnocchi Green Peppercorn Jus. So did my brother. And his wife ordered the "Sea Scallops" Roasted Beets Humboldt Fog Pistachios Orange/Saffron Butter. Everything was exceptional as always. KUDOS to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with a fine cup of coffee and shared a couple orders of "Whipped Chocolate Mousse" infused with chopped hazelnuts... fabulous. So, as I have said before, if you enjoy "Fine Dining" that is consistently excellent; make the trip to Hudson, Ohio and visit "Downtown 140". You'll be glad you did.

I'm glad we were able to check out A & A Indo Asian Grocery. ITEMS - They have a standard selection of food to choose from such as rice, frozen food options like naan and paratha, Indian snacks, tea, etc. They even offer fresh food to buy at the check-out counter up front such as hot samosas to take away (to-go). I bought the Aloo Paratha ($3.99) from the frozen foods section, Little Hearts small biscuits ($1.99), Small toffee candy ($1.99), Cardamon Tea ($5.49). I've tried Aloo Paratha many times before so I already knew that I would love it. They sell the Deep brand of Aloo Paratha here and after heating it up over the stove-top, I loved it. Aloo Paratha is a bread filled with potatoes and spices. It's the perfect carb-filled meal to go along with eggs in the morning or it can be eaten as a side dish for lunch or dinner. Absolutely delicious! The toffee sweet (candy) and the little biscuits that I bought were good too. I haven't tried the cardamon tea yet but I gave one packet to my friend and he liked it. However, I did notice that upon getting home, that the tea is made with artificial ingredients so I'm not too happy about that. I was hoping to get a pure/natural tea so I actually will just give the whole tea away. It's unlikely that I will try it which is sad because I love cardamom. If you love Indian food and snacks like myself then you will enjoy visiting this grocery store. It's clean, service is friendly and nice, and options are plentiful. I most likely will not visit again because there are other Indian stores closer to where I live and I hardly visit Bedford, Ohio. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 10/250 total reviews in 2026 - 851 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 February 2026
