We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the establishment was. The flavors were very unique and delicious. My daughter said had she not known it was frozen yogurt she would have thought it was ice cream. Definitely much better than the frozen yogurt I remembered from 20 years ago. The toppings bar all had spoons for their containers--no cross contamination that we observed. The employee was helpful with our questions. Will definitely return upon returning to Sedalia.

Toppings were laying everywhere on the buffet table and mixed together. At the short toppings table, everyone uses the same short ladles to scoop out your toppings during the Covid pandemic. Nothing was cleaned or whiped down while we sat at a dirty table outside and finished our flavorless, unremarkable goop. This was gross even without a pandemic but given the recent issues, it's just neglectful.

I tried a few and they were really good, and all the flavors looked wonderful. I wanted all of them, but settled on a Mangonada. It was beautiful. And delicious. They always look a little scary to me with all of the Chamoy sauce they put in/on, like it might be too spicy, but it's always just right. First she dipped the rim of my cup in some salty, spicy chili powder, then lined the inside of my cup with the Chamoy sauce, which is sweet, salty, sour, spicy. Then she loaded my cup with three or four scoops of mango ice cream, which really is more like sorbet. It was topped it off with some fresh mango and the tamarind straw, which is just more salty sweet, sour, spiciness. All in all, it's a very lovely thing! The mango ice cream/sorbet tasted just like really sweet mangoes and was extremely smooth, with no icy bits at all, which was delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed my dessert. It is a bright yellow building at the edge of Sedalia's "historic downtown", so it's hard to miss. That is what intrigued me enough to look into the place, The bright yellow! Inside it is clean and bright, so check it out for yourself!

I was curious about their steakburger and ordered a double. It came with a lot of mustard; several napkins couldn't remove it adequately. The meat was smashed to the point of being 1 or 2 molecules thick. There was little or no beef flavor -- it was all about the salt. You'll be hearing from my cardiologist. Worst thing: I ordered a concrete. It was soupy. Good milkshakes are thicker. In Missouri, to use Ted Drewes' "concrete" description for this soup is a sin. Cut back on the milk and lead with the frozen custard. The price, for what we received, was very, very high. Bye bye, Freddy.

I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 because during our last visit, my card was charged an extra $10 and some change a day after we ate there. We received a receipt showing only the $22 we paid for our meal, so the extra charge was unexpected and confusing. I still have no idea where it came from. The meal itself was a great deal for two people, but the surprise charge left a bad taste. If we do stop here again we will only be using cash. Overall, it's an okay place for a quick bite, but I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye on your card transactions afterward.
