We've been hosting food trucks for lunch at the office. We have an influx of interns for the summer…read moremonths, and cafeteria can get a bit crazy. The Sizzle Truck was on location today - was something new so I figured I'd check it out. Menu consisted of various sandwiches and a few Greek souvlaki options. The New England Steak & Cheese immediately caught my eye on the menu so I opted for that. Total came to about $10 which is standard for food truck fare. My order took about 10 minutes to prepare and I was ready for action. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sandwich consistent of medallions of what appeared to be a very nice sirloin. It was extremely tender and pretty flavorful with the caramelized onions and garlic aioli it came with. The bun was soft and the fries that accompanies it were well seasoned (celery salt, black pepper, garlic salt?). Where I was disappointed was the small amount of cheese that was on the sandwich. I absolutely love cheese especially when combined with steak on a hoagie roll, so I wish there would have been a bit more on this sandwich. With that gripe aside all in all the sandwich was pretty yummy.

Staff is still friendly as always! My best friend ordered the same sandwich and she had half the amount of meat but I did. It's almost like they ran out in the middle of making her sandwich. I was happy; she wasn't.

Atmosphere - lively and fun…read more Service - Our server was friendly and reasonably attentive. Food - Very Good. I was in the mood for a cheese burger, so I ordered the Super Smashed Burger with chips. The burger was excellent. It was served hot, at the correct temperature and it was juicy. The bun was fresh and held up to the juices. Overall - with prices that are very reasonable (especially considering the portion size) and service is good, this is a restaurant well worth checking out.

There are numerous tables and booths, along with big screen TV's. The table tops have a neat design, and the chairs are comfortable. It was a "seat yourself" at the time we were there and we had plenty of seat choices. Our server quickly took our drink order and before the drinks arrived they wanted to take our food order. I don't like being rushed, so we asked to have some time to peruse the menu. The menu has lots of appetizers, a few salads, entrees, sandwiches and specialties as well as desserts, I settled on the baked penne. Food arrived timely and looked great. For me, the baked penne was too cheesy with not enough sauce. I was disappointed since every description of their sauce made it sound so good, so I feel like I missed out. I would return and try something else.

Can I just start with "my head is spinning right round". While I don't frequent food trucks often,…read moreI had the opportunity while in Fort Myers to not only experience the food truck craze, but also go out on a limb from my comfort food and try something totally unique. I have to say the hardest part was deciding which waffle to choose for my culinary craving. These aren't your mamma's waffles, including NO syrup in sight. They start with fresh made waffle dough, adding fresh herbs and seasonings, fresh ingredients, and freshly shredded cheese (always some type of cheese!) to a savory selection of delectable delights. I was impressed with the Roswell which was made with grilled chicken with feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and a homemade tatziki sauce. Oh my word - just give me a gallon and a straw! Or my favorite, the Waffle 51, made with this amazing corn waffle dough (unlike anything I have ever tasted), grilled chicken, a homemade queso, queso fresco, and crema. My mouth is watering just remembering how wonderful this tasted. If you are looking for a sweet treat, try Beam Me Up, mixed with fruity pebbles in the waffle dough, fresh strawberries, fresh banana slices, and a homemade marshmallow cream cheese (have I mentioned how uniquely delightful all the sauces are yet?). They make these waffles to order so while you may wait a few minutes for your order to be prepared, it is well worth the wait. I look forward to returning to Fort Myers just so I can do this all over again. These owners are a delight to interact with and you can taste the love they put into their menu with every bite.
