Sooo I had my ear pierced a year ago September. I went back in April to have the earring resized however they would not put a shorter post in because it was still swollen. I finally was able to go to their new location to have a new post put in! It cost me $10 for the post and $10 dollars to have her put it in in under 30 seconds. $20 seems a bit steep for something I had done originally at the same business and was told it would be $10 previously. A nice addition was the numbers for the new post were printed on my receipt so I am able to buy my own earring from the large selection on the internet :)) The young lady who has the piercing duties fell flat. Three stars for high pricing that I imagine helps pay for the new space which was much nicer than the previous one :) You can trust me, I need more cow bell ;D read more

I will start by saying that depending on the time and day you go, there will be a wait. With that said, you'll appreciate why the wait time may take a while if you're there for a piercing. Attalanta (the piercing artist who was there for my visit) is extremely thorough. She can be seen consistently cleaning her work area between clients and washing her hands. I mean she gets in there with a little brush to get under her finger nails! I went in on a Thursday to get piercings with a friend. The store is clean and there are so many options for jewelry. Luckily, the waiting area is quite cozy with good music going. Attalanta is knowledgeable, patient, kind, funny, and just has a good vibe. I think these traits are important especially in a field like this. Someone came in demanding to buy jewelry so I guess she thought she had a right to be catered to first, but Attalanta kindly let her know that there was a wait. I really appreciated her professionalism and respect for everyone's time. When it was finally our turn, she did not rush us as we had a million questions and wanted to know more about the jewelry. She said "No rush, I'm with you guys now." She treats every customer with care and goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable while working with her. My experience was wonderful. The service was very good. I took my daughter to get a nose piercing. The customer service made me and my daughter very comfortable. The artist took her time to explain how to take care of the piercing and made sure we did not have any other questions. I really appreciate the time she took. My only concern is she did not have a mask on. I was slightly uncomfortable knowing this. We had one but it does not work if we all don't use it. Just left this place after 30 minutes of not being acknowledged by anybody. I walked in at the same time as another customer and I let her go first, then the woman walked away and nobody else checked to see if I had been helped. I stood up at the desk for 15 minutes but nobody came. I sat down for 15 more minutes thinking maybe they were just busy, but instead they stood in the back together gossiping and vaping while 4 customers sat upfront with no communication. I decided to leave because I did not want to get my first ever tattoo at this establishment. Truly upsetting how poor the customer service is here. read more

I went in to get a lip piercing , now I do admit I felt slight tension from the piercer at first. Before we went inside my friend and I were talking about what we were getting and it won't long cause she had to head to work. Apparently the piercer was already outside and over heard the conversation and interrupted to say it's a 40 minute wait and it's 20 minutes per person and she's a very busy woman here in PSL. Putting that aside, when it was my go she asked what I wanted and I told her I wanted my lebret and she was quick to correct me that I wasn't calling it the right thing. What I wanted is something like a half snake bites or whatever, I told her I wasn't sure but I told her I was trying to figure it out online. Now this part I was like ..... . But anywho she was actually really good. Took her time explained everything from jewelry to pricing and what I should use to take care of my piercing. Let's start from the beginning. Around 1:30 I called ahead and asked when the piercer was going to be in and the guy who answers the phone tells me that she was going to be in by 4:00. I asked how much would it be to pierce my ears and he said $40-45; 25 for the holes,15-20 for the earrings. Then the guy advises me to get there before the piercer so I wouldn't have to wait, so we settled on me being at Twisted Image by 3:45. I get there at 3:45 and immediately I'm told that the piercer wouldn't be there until 4:30-5:00. By 4:55 I call again to see if she was there and-with attitude- the lady receptionist tells me that she's gonna be walking at 5:00. By 5:30 I get there and I wait about 30 minutes to pierce my ears. I finally meet with the piercer and she tells me that my total is starting to look about $70+ because they charge for things that weren't mentioned before on the phone such as earring backs. I specifically ask for the earrings that already include earring backs in the price and was assured that there would be no extra cost for the earring backs. After personally being comfortable with the piercing, we get to the front and she tells me that my total is about $110, $70 OVER THE PRICE THAT WAS ORIGINALLY DISCLOSED. I asked why the total skyrocketed and why there was separate prices for earrings backs and she told me that's how they charge and there's nothing that can be done at this point. I had to pay $110 for subpar, unreliable service. Long story short, 10/10 don't recommend. read more

Do not go here for piercings. They gave me the run around for three days about when their piercer would be in. I kept being told he would be their and since it's close to my house I would go in and get a he's going to be here tomorrow. The third time this happened I called before to make sure and was told once again he will be here tomorrow. Finally got tired of this. I walked in, stood there. A man who looked like he worked there was sitting down and he gave me a dirty look and walked out. There were two people on the computer who glanced at me and continued on the computer. There was a lady doing someone's tattoo who again glanced at me and resumed working. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. I'm not trying to play the race card but it's already uncomfortable enough walking into an all white establishment, i do not need dirty looks. Went with my friend to get her belly button pierced. The piercer was very incorrect on aftercare for piercings and was very rude about questions I asked and instead of explaining his opinions and basically told me I'm wrong about everything when his method of aftercare will cause many infections. We will not be returning here. read more

Jeff Corvell touched up a tattoo of mine at a convention in Miami and I can honestly say he was the most unprofessional, self absorbed, rude tattoo artist ive ever encountered. I came to his booth late in the night and asked if he had time to touch up my tattoo. I knew it was late and so I was willing to accept that it may not happen, but i told him what I needed.I asked him to add reflections (since the tattoo is a piece of jewelry) and to brighten the color. He said he was the "guy for the job". Reassuring, right?? we negotiated price and settled on $90. It took him mad long to set up his stuff and had a nice little fight with his wife for the whole 40 minutes it took him to get his gun set up. He never really asked any additional questions to figure out what I needed, he just sort of free handed it. and the "reflections" he added look like a child drew some crooked lines. if he had asked for more specifics, he would have learned that what i actually wanted was some white shading around the numbers. as the professional, I beleive it was his job to ask the right set of questions to determine my needs so that he would be able to do his job properly. I work in the service industry doing eyebrows and I always ask those key questions to find out what the person is looking for. and I am not PERMANENTLY TATTOOING SOMEONE FOR LIFE! I honestly should have trusted my gut, but I give people the benefit of the doubt and I thought his portfolio was decent. His professionalism is nowhere to be found. He is overpriced garbage. I contacted him to see if he would refund my money since i was so unhappy with the tattoo (it had also healed in a weird color because he put white over a dark purple color that was in the tat and it turned a strange hue, he should have known that was not a good idea since he is so "experienced"). He offered to fix it, but I would never let him touch my skin again. After i said that he told me what was he supposed to do with the "garbage" that was already on my skin and he would never refund me a penny. If it was a garbage tattoo, Jeff, why did you take the job? You should have told me "sorry, ive packed up my kit already, but here is my business card if you'd like to come back tomorrow". Instead you took the job and were a grouch about it the whole time, clearly embarrassed your wife, and permanently scarred a perfectly innocent customer in your rage. You are not a gifted man at all, and the title artist isnt fit for you. I would not recommend this place, but more specifically the ignorant bloke that goes by the name Jeff Corvell. read more
