I cannot say enough about this studio. I have been to many different tattoo studios and the Dark…read moreLab is unlike any other. Owner and artist, Angelo, has created a one of a kind experience. The biggest difference you will notice is there is one single chair as you are the only client and the whole shop is catered to you while there. It's so much more personal than the tattoo "factory" feel you get from a shop with multiple chairs and artists. Getting a tattoo is one of the most personal things you can do and the environment here shows that Angelo knows that and has taken that into account when creating the Dark Lab. From the televisions mounted over the chair where you can watch whatever you like to the studio quality headphones if you want to listen to your own music and be in your own world while he creates a permanent work of art for you. I can't forget to me til the complimentary snack bar and the tattoo caddy to hold all of your things while he works. None of this would matter if Angelo wasn't a world class artist doing world class tattoo work. On a scale of one to ten, Dark Lab is a twelve.

From the moment I walked in to enquire about doing some pieces I have longed to do - I was approached by Heather , she is 100% wonderful. she is sweet. & kind. She takes her time to understand what you want and what you're looking to do and she really cares about her clients, thats just some of the hundred things she does for her clients. , she is great At recommending what she thinks would be the best for you and coloring (colors). Heather has done multiple piece's for me and a good friend of mine and we will NOT leave her ever , if she was to leave I would follow her - her work is amazing , I also would like to add the other tattooist Matt, Noah, and JoJo are super nice and easy to talk to and joke with - they are down to earth genuine folks. And when you are sitting there everyone makes you feel comfortable- you guys Rock !!! So for me Nevermore tattoo is the only place I love and trust . Thank you guys for being who you're. DO NOT book with Aryanna unless you want to arrive to your appointment with no design prepared for you and sit waiting for 50 minutes after your scheduled appointment to even enter the tattooing area. She didn't even begin drawing until 10 minutes after my scheduled time. The first design she showed me was the number "777" instead of "772." Keep in mind I had booked and been communicating with pictures and descriptions for 11 days prior to my appointment. This was an immediate red flag and showed a lack of attention to detail and care for her customers. Extremely unprofessional and rude attitude when trying to clarify what I want. She literally said "Okay what are you talking about" when trying I was trying to clarify. I ended up walking out. Lost out on a $20 deposit but at least no more of my money will go into her pocket.

I finally was able to go to their new location to have a new post put in! It cost me $10 for the post and $10 dollars to have her put it in in under 30 seconds. $20 seems a bit steep for something I had done originally at the same business and was told it would be $10 previously. A nice addition was the numbers for the new post were printed on my receipt so I am able to buy my own earring from the large selection on the internet :)) The young lady who has the piercing duties fell flat. Three stars for high pricing that I imagine helps pay for the new space which was much nicer than the previous one :) You can trust me, I need more cow bell ;D

I came…read morein on May 14th to have my rook jewelry changed, and they charged me $89 for a single piece of jewelry. I was shocked when just two days later (May 16th) the jewelry broke. I went back that same day, and instead of replacing it or acknowledging the issue, I was charged another $11 for a second piece. Now it's July 30th, and the second piece has also broken -- less than three months later. I've now spent $100 on two pieces of jewelry that both broke in a ridiculously short period of time. I've had this piercing for years -- the original jewelry I got when I first had it done in New Jersey lasted over six years without a single issue. So I know how rook jewelry should hold up. This makes me seriously question the quality of the materials they're using, especially considering the price. Not once was I offered a refund, store credit, or even an apology -- just an upsell for more low-quality jewelry. I expected way better from a professional shop, and now I feel completely ripped off. I won't be going back, and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for reliable, long-lasting jewelry or decent customer service.
