Today we went to Moth and Moon Tattoo here in Jupiter and I can not recommend them more. If you have a child and it's their first piercing, THIS is the place to go and Jay is THE man to see. My daughter (8yo) was and has always been extremely nervous and scared before doing anything to the point of crying and shaking. I told her she didn't have to do it but she said she wanted. Jay was not only a patience man but so loving towards her. Calming her down and trying to make her laugh. Once he did her first ear, she didn't even know he was done lol so the second one was a walk in the park for her. He was talking to her and letting her know everything that was going on so she would feel comfortable. As a mother, this is what you want to see. He has 4 kids of his own so he knows how to deal with kids for sure. What I did is downloaded the consent form with you will need to get notarized $10 at the UPS store. http://www.floridahealth.gov/environmental-health/body-piercing/_documents/notarized-parental-consent.pdf Then at the Moth and Moon you will need your ID and your kids form of ID. I took passport. Before you go, just give them a call to schedule with Jay as he has certain work hours. I've gotten a couple piercings from JT and don't want to go to anyone else! He's knowledgeable and makes the whole experience very comfortable. He's brought in a beautiful new jewelry collection to the shop and was very patient with me as I took my time choosing which earrings I wanted. He's also upgraded the needles which makes for smoother piercing and less pain. Last time I went in was with a few other friends who all wanted piercings and it was on a holiday so we called ahead and JT made sure he'd be available for us, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend Moth and Moon to anyone who wants to get a piercing or tattoo. I always go there for my piercings and tattoos and have only had great experiences every time I go. JT is a master with the needle. He managed to do my septum so skilfully there were little to no tears. It is healing beyond amazing. Would definitely recommend him to all my friends. Also the customization of the Jewelry by Robin is beyond amazing! He managed to match my piercing to my Teal colored hair. The whole place is just incredible. While it might be a bit pricey you pay for quality and this place is platinum level quality. 5 stars but only because 5 is the maximum I can give. Liz did mine and my brothers septum piercings. She was super nice and really easy to get along with, she walked us through the whole thing a couple of times because i was nervous, and even during me getting mine done she spoke with me so i wouldnt be nervous, she was quick about it and i havent had one problem since, same goes for my brother really enjoyed her time! read more

Liz designed and tattooed my sister and I's first tattoos, and she was awesome! She made us feel super comfortable and welcome, and we both love how our tattoos came out! I had a septum piercing by Jt. Now my septum is crooked and I was told by other shops that I can't get a ring because it won't lay correctly. He told me he could get it to lay right. Well he did it. The jewelry doesn't ever move unless I physically move it. Thank you so much Jt!!! read more
