Someone greeted us with tea after we got changed, and we waited in the lounge until our appointment time. While the lounge was comfortable and really nicely appointed, I don't think that I would pay an add--on cost to extend my time in the space. The steam and hot saunas were really nice, and I liked that you can reserve it to use privately. An hour is quite long. It would be great if they had a 45 minute price option. This is super specific, but it seemed strange they didn't have handles on both sides of the doors in the steam sauna. While I knew this when booking. I was very surprised that the rate per person is the same for using the space. If you are reserving it for a set time, there should be a discounted rate for additional people. We were glad we went, but I think they could definitely make it more affordable for couples or groups while still charging extra for the cleaning and washing of the additional towels and robes.

Can wear socks or not as you prefer. Person at the check in desk was very helpful and also watched all our coats and purses for us which was nice. -s: the room was colder than we expected even with the blankets they supply. I wish I would have brought more clothing to wear. This did not detract from the experience greatly - would highly recommend. There is also an infrared sauna room in the same business but we did not have the chance to check it out. Looked awesome too!

However, I really needed to relax and figured one go couldn't hurt - if anything, it would be an experience. That first day, I talked with Lisa for over an hour (the appointment was for 90 minutes but I ended up taking 2 hours) - she's kind, funny, and I felt very comfortable talking to her. After my first acupuncture session, she gave me some tips for relaxation rituals other practices at home that could help me achieve my dual goals of ruminating less and starting a family. I went to see her twice before getting a positive! I have been continuing once a week during my first trimester and it is so relaxing. Since I don't have a point of reference for the ups and downs of a first time mom to be (except for the internet - which can be more detrimental than helpful if you want to be able to sleep at night), Lisa has been an amazing resource on this journey. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a compassionate, holistic take on feeling better in any area of life.

It was wonderful from start to finish! We started with facials. Hannah did the facials for us both. She was wonderful. I had never had a facial before, so I didn't really know what to expect. It was so relaxing and felt amazing. My skin is incredibly soft now and I need to have another facial in my life ASAP. I will be back for another soon, I guarantee it. After the facials we each got full body massages. I've had a decent amount of professional massages, and I would say this one definitely ranks among the top. I can't recall the name of the gentleman who did my massage, but he did a great job. I wish I had asked him to do the scalp massage portion longer, that part was probably my favorite! Between services, we waited in a small lounge area which was nice. We were provided with plush comfy robes to wear, as well as slider sandals. We were also given little lockers to keep our belongings, which I appreciated. All in all, I really enjoyed everything about this experience, and I will absolutely be back for more!

This is an outstanding Iyengar Yoga studio. The instruction is expert, the classes are small, and the atmosphere is quite friendly. The studio is bright, clean, and attractive. There is a reduced fee for members of the co-op (anyone can join) and you can also get a ten class pass. If you haven't done Iyengar yoga before it would be good to take a level 1 class or a beginner's series. Also, you will probably be asked if you have any injuries or issues when you show up for class. Don't be put off by this; it is not meant to be intrusive! The teacher will modify postures specifically for whatever injures or limitations you might have to prevent any further injury and to help you recover. The instructors here helped me work on my handstand! I am looking forward to my next work trip to Madison so I can visit the studio again.
