Took my daughter to get her eyebrows threaded before homecoming. We went on a Wednesday evening around 5:15pm, and the shop was a little busy with four people ahead of us and just one person working. Even though she was the only one there, she was so sweet and never rushed, taking her time to make sure each person was happy with her work. When it was my daughter's turn, she was very kind and gentle. It was only my daughter's second time getting her eyebrows threaded, and she was a bit nervous with her eyes watering a lot. The woman was so patient, offering her breaks if needed and making sure she felt comfortable the whole time. Overall, my daughter was really happy with the results her eyebrows look great, and we're so pleased with how carefully she cleaned them up. Great appointment that was quick and easy, with very little pain. The shop was small, with 3 seats, but still very cute. With how fast they move I don't see the need for more chairs. My stylist honored my wishes of keeping my shape and size and just cleaning up and tightening the arch of my eyebrow. I've been coming here for years but I think today was my last time. There was only one person working and she was currently threading a customer and then I sat down to wait, no problem. The lady that got out of the chair was extremely red but I thought she just had sensitive skin. Then it was my turn, I got put in the same chair as the previous customer and she did not wipe down the chair before I sat down. She was extremely rough and her fingers kept going into my eye. I've never had threading hurt so much. She then used the scissors she used on the girl before me again without cleaning them or getting a fresh pair. I feel like she rushed through my service to get to the customers that walked in after I got started. My brows do look good so that's why I gave three stars but they need to work on their cleanliness and service read more

This was my first time trying this threading place, a change from my usual spot since I was in the area, but I won't be returning. They are open during COVID but I wouldn't say they are COVID friendly since they let me immediately sit in the same chair as the previous customer without cleaning or wiping down the chair or the payment portal. I walked in and a lady was sitting down in the waiting chairs talking on her phone on speaker and without hanging up, motioned towards a chair. I wasn't sure if she was an employee or not until she motioned again and pointed at the chair without saying a word. Still without saying a word she started setting up her thread and went straight for my eyebrows without asking what service I wanted. I stopped her and told her the shape I wanted (long, thicker, flat) and to just clean them up a bit. Somehow I walked out of the shop with rounded, thin eyebrows.... I was so severely disappointed after trying to grow my brows out over the past few months. Luckily I can stay inside without seeing anyone while they grow back. I would recommend driving the 30-40 minutes to Folsom just to work with someone who greets you, thanks you, and listens. read more

The ladies here are very friendly and I always get a gift certificate of $50 that includes one free eyebrow threading every year. You can also ask for cooling gel & they give you a complimentary facial massage when you ask for it. So far, they have been great shaping and maintaining my eyebrows. They don't make it thin, just my natural look. My only downside is that I was going here for many years and they used to be $9 for eyebrow threading & now they're $15 + tip. A bit pricey but definitely way cheaper than other threading salons. read more

I had been growing them out for 6 months. Now I'm back to square one. I expressed my concerns and how disappointed I was and she continued to charge me. I left in tears. It doesn't deserve any stars. Not super pleased with this place. Been coming here a handful of times and today was the first time the lady asked if I had a punchcard or not. I said no..but could I have one? She said no it was too late because the transaction was already done but next time I could have one, although I hadn't even paid yet. Well, there probably won't be a next time. Great prices - Average Threading. Came here for the first time since it was nearby & I was already in the TJ Maxx Parking lot/shopping. Pros: It was super convenient to walk to and the lady working agreed to take me in 5 minutes before opening (they open 10AM on weekdays). Yelp offers $2 off any service once you check-in and they offer discounts when you buy a gift card or use a stamp card. However, I must say, I've been to better threading services before. Rating this place a 3 stars because I was out of there in 5ish minutes. There was no line, yet, I still feel like I was rushed out. Not sure if there was dim lighting since they just opened, but I felt like it was super dark in there as well... when I came out, I felt like the lady missed a few spots and even managed to rip a piece of my skin off (cooling gel can help the burn, but not the redness/bumps). I don't mind trying them out again, but.. my first experience was so/so. read more

I asked her to trim my eyebrows afterwards and at first there were 2 strays I wanted her to trim. Somehow, she ended up trimming away the shape of my eyebrow. Unfortunately, I am updating my review, but not for the better. I gave 2 starts because every time I go in, they always ask about getting their $40- something gift card in exchange for a free eyebrow thread. I've got it once, but after that so politely decline. No reason, I just don't want the gift card. But the last time I went, the lady who did my eyebrows was rude when I declined the gift card offer. Nobody was in the store, and very bluntly she was like "Why don't you just go with the gift card?" As if it was annoying that I declined the gift card. I understand they are a business trying to up their profit, but at the same time, it's the same value if you go in regularly, with or without the gift card. Hopefully they stop asking or being so hard about getting it. I may look else where. read more

I went in today, I had thick eyebrows and a beautiful shake, just needed them clean. I explained to the lady please clean only and do not change the shape or extra hair off. I went to that place because I was in the area. Rani did my brows and she didn't sanitize the chair in front of me. She chopped my eyebrows off and will never recommend this place to anyone!!! My biggest mistake was me going in. She was in such a hurry because she had another customer was sitting and waiting and it seemed to me she wanted to hurry and take the next customer. i came in to get my eyebrows threaded and cleaned up . they took my arch off and left all the hairs that i didn't want on the bottom which left me with rainbow looking eyebrows . i asked for a clean up and they took off all of the hair that needed to be kept and left all the hair that i did not want . i have a eyebrow lamination and tinting appointment soon and i don't know how i'm going to get that done now without hair ! this shit sucks ass i don't recommend going . read more

I went in to get my eyebrows threaded and upon entering a sign says please wear a face mask and social distance, so of course I comply. I walk in to find two woman with there two kids not wearing masks and they are hanging all over the the furniture and one woman is coughing. Upon walking in I wasn't greeted by either employee even after making eye contact more than once. Every seat had someone waiting and not complying with social distancing they are not six feel apart. Children eating McDonalds rubbing their mouth and faces touching all the furniture etc. There was only one adult properly wearing a face mask while every other patron and the two threaders wore theirs under their nose. What I was really alarmed by was the fact one of the threaders is wearing a surgical mask with a slit cut in it so she can bite off the thread as she's working!!! She is wearing gloves that she uses on the client then walks up to the front to ring the client up and touches their cash and returns back to her chair. She wipes the chair down briefly and not the arm rests with a dirty towel that I watched her use after the previous client. She even wore the same gloves on the next client and thinks using sanitizer on them is okay!!!! I work in the medical field and was appalled by what I was witnessing. This place should not be open!!! They do not wipe down any of the chairs that the people are waiting in for an appointment. There is NO sterilization in this place whatsoever. I would not give this place any business....walked out! read more

Can be a inconsistent depending on who you get. Once you find a gal you like- remember her!! They either do a fantastic job or a mediocre one. The wait can be very inconsistent too. Most of the time I come in with my daughters and we're helped right away, but sometimes the wait can be 30 minuets plus. I've never seen more than one person working there. In my opinion, they need to have at least two on weekends. They are all very sweet and their prices are excellent. read more

Amazing service. Walked right in and took 5 mins for an eyebrow threading (and was only 12$!) The lady was very friendly as well.

This is the only place I go to for my eyebrows and usually they do a pretty good job. I used to specifically request Chinu (not quite sure if that's the correct spelling) but she is unfortunately not a part of their team anymore. She always did an amazing job and was the sweetest one there and remembered my name. I miss her! Most times I go in the staff is very friendly, with the exception of one woman who looks to be a little older than the other girls. She doesn't smile as much and also doesn't take as much time on me as the other employees do. She's not flat out rude either, just not as warm as the other staff members. My most recent visit was just a few weeks ago and the aforementioned woman served me. I have a $2 off coupon that they fortunately allow you to use each time you come in and I always tip at least 20%. When I asked to use the coupon she seemed to be annoyed that I wanted to use it and was demanding about physically seeing it (which they usually aren't). She still honored my coupon and I still tipped 20%. Of course I was not free to go without hearing her sales pitch for the $30 gift certificate. I have purchased one before and it is quite handy to use but I just don't see the point in purchasing one every time because I am already a loyal customer and not planning to go somewhere else anytime soon (until of course I just get fed up with the constant sales pushing). I would just rather pay for each service each time. This has to be one of the most annoying things about this place. I do get tired of hearing the sales pitch EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've seen the posted ad about it and have already heard about it numerous times, so if I wanted to purchase the gift certificate then I would. Another unfavorable trait of this establishment is the fact that they only ever have one person working at a time which means longer wait times. They should at least have one other person as the cashier to keep a constant flow instead of only one person doing everything. The only time I have to come is during my lunch break so I don't have a lot of time to sit and wait. I remember many times where I've come out to see every single chair taken with someone waiting while only one employee is on the floor, so I end up having to leave and try my luck another time. Parking is already challenging even when they are not busy. Overall I would recommend this business. They do good work and my eyebrows always look good when leaving. Just be ready to sit and wait if you are willing to and have that kind of time, and to hear the annoying sales pitch each time you visit. read more
