Dad proceeded to tell me that the owner of Affordable Family Care Services showed up with his son and father and they installed railing all around the porch. They are serious, gentle, caring ... go over and beyond for you. I have worked with midwives before and never have I seen the extent of care and detail as I did with special beginnings. They are one of a kind. Not only that they actually love LOVEEEE what they do and you can tell by their passion and care. It was an honor having them handle my birth and being able to walk through the birth process with them. They have so much knowledge in the industry and will sit down and talk to you about it unlike a doctor's office where they are just rushing to get you through for the next patient. Here they want to talk to you and educate you and give you all the information to help create the birth you want. This is a beautiful experience and I highly recommend any woman that is not high risk to take this route for care. They gave me false hope and completely took advantage of my husband (discharged honorably from the military) and me. I provided the clinic with the full operative report showing the extent of the damage, but they initially resisted a full refund and only offered 50%. They eventually reviewed the records but the experience left me feeling the process prioritized speed and payment over thorough patient suitability. Future patients should get independent medical advice and full records reviewed before paying. The clinic's cancellation policy is strict even when the surgery isn't medically feasible.

I had a healthy, successful pregnancy from my very first IVF and 3 remaining genetically normal embryos remaining after I moved to the state. At my first implantation, the doctor asked about the gender (we had 2 males and 1 female remaining. We implanted the female). The doctor said "another girl? What are you going to tell your son one day?" Doctor, that's none of your business. That implantation ended in a miscarriage. For the next two [failed] implantations, my doctor added different medications saying "at this point, the studies are all voodoo, so why not try." She knows more than me so I trusted her, which I shouldn't have done. She tested my thyroid and gave me medication but never told me how important it is to take thyroid medication separate from other medicines. I realize she's not an endocrinologist, but if you prescribe it, you should give the warning. At one point I was taking over 11 pills and a shot. She also assumed that adding more estrogen was the answer and my levels were skyrocketing. Again, I'm not the doctor. As I said, both my implantations failed. I know that IVF is never a guarantee. And I don't completely fault the facility, however, in my journey to expand my family I feel like I wasted a year at Carolina Conceptions. New to the area, I thought it was my only option. It's not.

If the elder client does not feel like things are working out with their companion, they are free to speak to the company and ask for someone else. Having dealt with other companies, they tend to want to push you into a higher level of care that may not be needed. The great thing about elder care and companion roles are that you've already established a relationship with the company, you've come to trust the company, and if you do need to move to a next level of care, stay assisted-living, you already know the company and your companion may also be able to join you in an assisted-living community I'm forgetting to mention there are caregivers who are CNA's, and highly experienced RNs, who oversee the programs. Since…read moregetting pregnant, I come here frequently because it's close to home, very clean, and the staff (front desk, nurses, phlebotomists, midwives, nurse practitioners, and doctors) are so sweet and personable. I also love their health portal where I can communicate to my doctors if I'm having any trouble with suggested cold medication, or ask about certain products I'd like to use to see if they are okay for pregnancy. Sometimes I feel like I ask ridiculous questions on the portal and at appointments, and the healthcare providers never make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. Now it's true. If you are looking for education on oral or hormonal contraceptive methods, this office is not for you. But just because they don't promote this doesn't mean the office is hyper religious. I did go to one of the educational appointments on this. I attended an appointment in which you can prevent pregnancy by using something called "The Listening Method" which entails you to keep track of the consistency and color of your cervical mucus. By keeping track, they give you a chart that you have to mark. Based on the chart you can tell how fertile you are. I thought that this was a great idea for people who do not want to use hormones or other contraceptives such as a copper T intra uterine device (IUD). The listening method is great, however, I think this would be better utilized for busy people by turning this into an app. The front desk staff is also very helpful. My husband and I had a big gender reveal party, and they were very careful not to disclose the sex during our appointment. They were also kind enough to inform our baker of the baby's sex. My one start dock is for issues with appointment scheduling. I have made in person appointments, and then received notifications via email that they changed an appointment without my consent. Nonetheless taking more time out to have to call and reschedule again. I'm not sure i this is a system error.
