David's tour is a MUST for any Twin Peaks fan. I've heard of others trying to independently research each location and do it on their own to avoid the *very reasonable* cost of the formal tour. Doing it this way is not only a waste of time, but far less comprehensive (and I'm sure less enjoyable) than what you'll experience when riding with David. First, not only does he have each location mapped out for optimal efficiency, but he also has a savant-like knowledge of the history behind each as well as the esoterica of the show and its production. Why wouldn't you want to experience this with someone who's as much of a Twin Peak fan as you are?! Additionally, this isn't some casual car ride he's slapped together as some way to make extra cash in his spare time. You can tell he's absolutely devoted not only to the show and its locations, but to your time spent with him as well. This was first evidenced by me when he cued up clips from the series as prelude to each location he'd drive me to. In addition to the clips, he also has Badalamenti's music cue'd up and not coincidentally it times out perfectly with the drive from location to location. How much time and effort must that have taken? Second, as a person who abhors small talk, my original concern was that I'd be stuck in a car with a guy for x hours forcing polite chit chat about the weather or some such banality. Not the case. David is not only very cool and easy to talk to, but in the gaps between informative dialogue about the show and the locations, he doesn't force conversation. Whatever was spoken about was a topic arrived at organically. THAT's a gift! Twin Peaks Tour Pro-Tip: David's tour primarily covers the filming locations from Season 1 & 2, Fire Walk With Me and Season 3, all of which can be found within a reasonable driving distance of one another in the Snoqualmie and North Bend areas. It should be noted, however, that there are two ICONIC locations that he doesn't normally cover because they are so far removed from the bulk of the others. The first is the Palmer house in Everett, Washington. The second is a lodge on an island in the northwest which was used for the interiors of The Great Northern Hotel and the exteriors of the Packard house (NOTE: Neither has changed much since 1989. It was like walking into a time capsule!). I paid for an additional day with David as I knew he could not only gain access to these locations better than I could but would more easily be able to navigate the region as well. This is well worth it. If you've planned this trip for yourself, the additional day and expense of viewing these places is something you have to treat yourself to. No Twin Peaks fan's time in the northwest would be complete without seeing them. At the time I toured these spots this was not part of his formal tour but he said he was thinking about offering it in the future. Do yourself a favor and request the extra day. Pay for this. You won't regret it. Particularly when you get to meet Mary Reber aka Alice Tremond and take a picture of THE ceiling fan outside Laura Palmer's bedroom. You will get chills. In summation, this tour was easily one of the top ten best experiences of my life. Being able to visit the real locations of the show/film/mythology that so dramatically impacted my youth and shaped my career (I work in film because Lynch's show inspired me so much) is something that can not be over-sold. Find the time, set aside the money and do as Agent Cooper advised and treat yourself. You'll look back on the experience fondly. NOTE: I stayed at the Salish Lodge while I was in Snoqualmie. I'm a big fan of Twin Peaks, so I was very excited to go on this Twin Peaks Tour in Snoqualmie. David runs an excellent tour. He is very friendly, helpful and a big fan of TP himself. His tour covers all the main TP locations and his TP knowledge was great. We even did TP quizzes in the car driving to different locations. He was a great guide and host and thought of everything including TP music, TP quiz in the car, lunch and awesome cherry pie at Tweedes Mar T cafe (RR diner), his own TP road sign and Davi even dresses as an FBI agent. How cool!. I loved every minute of the tour and wish it could keep going, as it felt like I was in a dream -just like the show . If your a TP fan do yourself a favour and definately book and do this tour, you will not be disappointed. Also to complete your Twin Peaks experience, stay overnight Alex and Bryan's Twin Peaks room complete with TP memorabillia at their Air BnB house in North Bend Snoqualmie. Twin Peaks' fans rejoice for there is a tour of the Twin Peaks' sites in Washington state that'll kill ya! Twin Peaks' Tour is offered by David Israel who painstakingly located the series' sites associated with Mark Frost/David Lynch's supernatural and mythical world of the small American town that isn't quite as idyllic as its breathtaking scenery. And your tour guide is an encyclopedia of TP knowledge, and he offers each tantalizing informational slice as he drives you around the areas in a comfy and apropos vehicle equipped with accompanying multimedia sights and sounds. While visiting the area for research, I booked a solo tour 3, and for approximately four hours I was treated to an unprecedented adventure leading me down David Lynch's rabbit hole. Visiting the sites firsthand, walking along the paths trod by Agent Cooper and his stalwart companions, and having a guide with a theatrical personality along with his insight and undoubted TP appreciation was the highlight of my Washington state visit. Oh, and there are surprises aplenty as well as a first (or final, in my case) stop that will astound you. This tour is a must for Twin Peaks' fans or the TP curious! David, and this tour, is fantastic. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. Before booking it, I had a few questions. David took the time to speak to me at length on the phone and explain things. On the day of the tour, my group of three adults and one teen met up with David at his house. He had a really nice passenger van to drive us plus four others around for the tour. On the tour, we listened to Twin Peaks background music and traded fun trivia questions. I consider myself a very serious fan...but boy, David is in a totally different league. He really knows his stuff! We saw 20+ sites on the tour. I won't bother the repeat them as they are already documented here and elsewhere. Rest assured that you'll see so many key locations from the series that it will make your head spin. And it's hard to describe the feeling one gets when it soaks in that you're standing exactly where a cameraman and David Lynch shot a key seen from Twin Peaks...or when you are enjoying cherry pie and coffee at the RR Diner. David was super friendly, knowledgeable, patient as we took photos, and really enjoys what he does. If you love Twin Peaks, you need to take this tour. read more

We planned a trip from the UK to Orlando this year and so pleased that we arranged a stopover for a few days in Seattle in order to go on David Israel`s Twin Peaks tour on October 16th. We chose Option 3 of the 3 Twin Peaks tours that he organises which was approximately 6 hours duration (we wanted to see everything) First and foremost I must say how knowledgeable David is with all things Twin Peaks and David Lynch related. David comes attired as an FBI agent and even wearing the "Owl Cave Ring" David picked up myself and my family in Seattle and then drove out to the various film locations associated with the series, to have this guy to ourselves all day was terrific. David was happy to take as many photos of us as we wished, giving us plenty of time at all the locations. Jack Rabbit`s Palace was a great visit for me and the scenery this time of year with the colour changing is a sight to behold. Time for a cup of Joe as well as the Cherry pie at the Double R Diner (Twedes Café) was most welcome along with a visit to Sherriff Truman's office and of course the Road House. Twin Peaks Tour was one of the best tours I have ever taken! David picked up me and my friends at a hotel in Seattle and off we went. Listening to the soundtrack he plays of David Lynch music really puts you in the mood for the trip. We had never been to Seattle before and I would highly recommend this tour to any and all David Lynch/Twin Peaks fans. Our tour guide, David, was very smart and knowledgeable about all of the filming locations and I must say, a very nice person as well. He gave us information about all of the locations that we had no idea of previously, helped us take GREAT photos and has a flair for getting us access into areas that I believe not everyone who takes tours is used to. Without spoiling the upcoming Twin Peaks on Showtime, he even gave us a little insight into what to expect for the new series! The entire tour was magical and beautiful and David made us feel like we were actually in the real Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks has been my favorite TV show ever since I first saw it over 30 years ago. Although I haven't actively obsessed about the show in decades, and I'm not generally the "superfan" type, when I learned about this tour while planning a Seattle trip, I couldn't pass it up. David did an outstanding job of showing off the various locations in Snoqualmie that formed the basis of the original pilot, the Fire Walk With Me film, and season 3 (The Return). He possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the show itself, and he also knows enough about TV and music production to provide real insights into the creative process behind the scenes. When you're with David you're getting the benefit of an immense amount of research that he did himself, much of it before Google existed, and you're also getting the joy of hanging out with a fellow fan who hasn't lost his love for this very special show. In short, if you love Twin Peaks, there's no better way to re-immerse yourself in its magic than spending a day with David. Come for the sights, stay for the coffee and cherry pie, and keep an eye out for a few fun surprises! read more

My wife and I saw some great reviews for this tour and as big fans of the show, we decided to take the Seasons 1 & 2 tour. As other reviewers haver pointed out, the experience starts off immediately faithful when David shows up in full FBI garb. As he drove us from location to location, we got a great mix of trivia games and the soundtrack from the show. David's genuine enthusiasm for the show coupled with seeing the actual locations where many famous scenes are set makes for an essential trip for any fan of the show. Among many recognizable stops, we hit Twede's Cafe (the "RR" diner) for some delicious cherry pie and coffee, walked the bridge that Ronette escapes across, and got the magnificent views of the waterfall at the Snoqualmie Falls Lodge (the Great Northern Hotel). Besides getting to see the actual places where the series was set, the surrounding areas are beautiful on their own. This was one of the best tours we've ever been on, and it was a stellar Twin Peaks experience. As you can see in the pictures, Agent Cooper was impressed as we were. The Twin Peaks Tour was one of my highlights and most memorable experiences during my time in the PNW these past two years and I can't recommend it highly enough to any fan of the show. As a fellow fan it was wonderful to geek out and chat away to David about the show and his knowledge and trivia put me to shame! He pulled out all the stops to make the tour such a wonderful experience - a great guide to have on this journey into TV history. I was amazed by the close proximity of all of the locations, Twin Peaks could indeed have been a real town, and it was surreal to see places I'd seen many time on my TVs/laptops over the years in the "real world" so to speak. With little surprises thrown in along the way, and a fitting soundtrack on the drive to go along with it, this is a must for any TP fan and I've been making several very jealous with my pics of the trip! What an absolutely amazing experience! Or one would say, a DAMN FINE tour! Start to finish, this was perfection. David was super on time in picking us up (that's right - he came to our hotel!!) and en route to the first destination, turned on the Twin Peaks soundtrack which played throughout, which set a really cool mood. Even in the pouring rain, he made the experience amazing. He took tons of pictures for us and was really patient as we soaked up every location on the tour. Lots of fun trivia throughout, and got to spend lots of time at the Sheriff's station, on Ronnett's bridge, at the Great Northern hotel (aka Salish lodge), and even featured locations from Season 3. He had awesome surprises for us throughout which led to incredible keepsakes/memories. He even sent me a photo the week after the tour because I had missed the right angle at the Roadhouse. As fans of all things Twin Peaks and David Lynch, for years we'd discussed trying to put together a list of filming locations to visit on our own. With an impending trip to the Pacific Northwest, we started searching for locations we could visit. 10 stars for David! Unbelievable tour. He is a true lynch/twin peaks expert. He dressed as an FBI agent, he did trivia, played music/score from the show. Took us to places the no other tour will take you on. We just so happened to book the tour on twin peaks festival weekend and he was able to squeeze us in last minute. We had friends that took the bus tour from the festival and it was packed to the brim with tons of people and went to maybe half the places we went to. David's tour was way more intimate and included way more sights and personal touches from the show. It's worth every penny and bonus he's also just a really cool guy that you will wanna just hang out with. If your debating visiting twin peaks and are a fan of the show go book this tour now! For any Twin Peaks fans, THIS TOUR IS A MUST!!! I don't think I can stress that point any further! I had the best time immersing myself in the Twin Peaks world of the original series and David Israel, the tour runner, really goes that extra mile to ensure that the tour includes as much attention to detail along the way to the point where you actually begin to feel like a character from the show. I won't spoil any of the surprises that will be in store for you, but David has the expertise, not only of the shows, but of all the people and processes that were involved in the making of the show. David Israel is an a great tour guide and a very pleasant person to hang out with. Very knowledgeable about the show and will know more about Twin Peaks than you and your mother. You will stop and drive by almost every location from your selected package. He knows a lot of the behind the scenes trivia bout every location and what has happened to them over the years. Even some locations that weren't in the show but almost made it in in a deleted scene. Stay at his Air B&B for the full experience. He sets the tone at the very start and drive up to the locations are some of the most beautiful scenery you will see. Seriously there is nothing like it and is very well worth the money. My wife and I were lucky enough to take the Twin Peaks Tour during a very brief stay in Seattle. From the very first sight of David and our transport for the day, it was clear we were in for a great experience. We were guided through all of the locations that are possible to view from the first two seasons and it was a wonderfully surreal experience to see images seen countless times on the screen there before our eyes. David is super-knowledgeable and passionate about Twin Peaks, as well as being a great chap to spend the day with. I really couldn't recommend this tour enough. Great tour! If you are a Twin Peaks fan, you have to do this! It'll blow your mind. We WERE in Twin Peaks! Tourguide David took us there! He knows where everything is! David is full of special surprises. Not only did we hear Twin Peaks music as we visited the various locations, we had cherry pie and black coffee at the RR diner! We had a drink at the Roadhouse! We hung out at the Great Western and were awed by the falls! You see what I'm saying! My knowledge of the Twin Peaks universe was tested by Davids great trivia questions.
