I asked some questions about the pain, and he told me it would be stiff, and basically opened the door and left. My wrist isn't just stiff, but he didn't give me a chance to discuss it further. He didn't give me a chance to ask any more questions. He also seemed very distracted and I felt I wasn't a priority at all. If I have another issue that requires an Orthopedic Dr, then I'll be looking for someone else.

OUT PAIENY SURGERY CENTER My review is two part:…read more 1-The facility and support staff And surgeon Dr. Jollu 2-The Anesthesiologist Travis Markham The facility is lovely, clean and they use top of the line personal disposable medical equipment. The staf, reception check in, lead nurse and operating room nurse were outstanding in all regards. Dr. Jollu, Pain Mgt. Specialist, is an great Dr. and has a compassionate, confident demeanor that puts me at ease. I found Anesthesiologist Travis Markham, whom I've been a patient of several times, to have a cold, dismissive, argumentative and un necessatily cruel bed side manor. My veins are very difficult to place an IV in. I have a port specifically for this. I do understand that the staff are not certified to use a Port to access the vein. Having had countless similar procedures I know the size of needle that works best an which veins are accessable. He dismissed my suggestions. After three blown vein attempts and much arguing we ended up doing it exactly as I had requested. I suggested that there be a note in Dr. Jollus file to avoid future issues. At this suggestion he lost all sense of professional etiquette and I was reduced to tears. He hollered that his opinion is is the only one that matters. He said that what Dr. Jollu has in my chart is irrelevant and of no value to him. I was very upset and anxious that this person would be in control of my comfort during the procedure. I'm very sensitive to stress and it triggers flares. I have Lupus. The experience was embarrassing and uncalled for. He would not drop the issue and actually seems to have enjoyed the exchange until I was out. Perhaps he was having an off day but it should not have been taken out on me. In conclusion I will continue to utilize the facility provining I can be scheduled only when Travis Markham is not on the schedule.

From the minute we met, I felt very comfortable . She was easy to talk to and actually reminded me of a dear teacher friend of mine. I always come prepared with research I've done, in case a Dr recommends something I disagree with, but she didn't do that. And she told me I was smart to do my research. We definitely bonded and had a great talk. She recommended some bloodwork, which was fine . Never met such a happy Doctor, since my Dr Cea, who used to make house calls in the Bronx, when I was a kid. I am looking forward to my next visit in December. The staff's instructions and responses to my inquiries were incorrect about 85% of the time. Also they do not use their portal effectively. I complained numerous times and was told the software "does not do that"; however, I have another physician that uses the same software and it is excellent. I was disappointed as would not have driven all the way to Ocala to see his assistant. HOWEVER, Jessica Gomilion was EXCELLENT and in the end, I was probably better served to have seen her rather than Dr. Duke. It seems that Dr. Duke spends his time doing surgery and other high income producing things. My guess is that if your problem can't be solved by Jessica, then you get bumped up to Dr. Duke. Bottonline, I was pleased with my appointment and the results. Just be aware that Dr. Duke (like most doctors) runs a factory weeding out the cases so that THE doctor only sees the most seriousand profitable cases. My recommendation.....go see these guys first.

Priscilla is good with laser! Helped the pain from my knee replacement for a very short period…read more Paid for weeks and months after surgery for this laser to help alleviate the pain but, long term didn't work. At $75 per week (out of pocket) for 6 months for Duke's negligence, it was a waste of money. Duke refused to help me after surgery. Also, Dr Duke and the staff are always rushing you and very short making you feel like you don't deserve to ask questions. My knee replacement has to be re-done because Dr Duke put in a replacement larger than my knee so, I have an over-hang. After four years of continuous pain after surgery which Duke "sloughed off as my nerve pain", I have to have it replaced again to correct the overhang! The over-hang had to be diagnosed elsewhere because Duke refused to acknowledge his poor surgical replacement. I went to two specialists to confirm the over-hang. I would definitely not recommend his practice or him! Four + years of pain that was and worse after the knee replacement than before because Duke did not fit my knee properly. Think: it could happen to you too!
