This company handled the billing after my endoscopy in March of 2022. The anesthesiologist was…read moreexcellent but the company was deplorable. My endoscopy is covered 100% and I get them often due to a medical condition. I know the drill. The outpatient center always makes me pay before the procedure and I argue with them every time. Occasionally I get a bill from the anesthesiologist. They usually get taken care of by my insurance without my involvement- until this year. This company claimed it was not covered and was threatening to send my bill to collections. My insurance was also being a pain and not paying it. In order to avoid going to collections, I paid the bill. My insurance then paid it the same week when I finally got a competent person on the phone who saw it was covered and followed through. Now, when I paid the bill the anesthesia associates told me a refund would be automatically generated. Nope. That did not happen. Paid in August 2022. Sept 23, 2022, I called and inquired about a refund. They began the process. Arnold tells me 30-60 days. To call back in about 45 days for a status update and provides his employee number. October 31, 2022- speak to Divine. She tells me refunds take 60-90 days (now we are adding days!). I request a supervisor. She says one will callback in 24-48 hours. November 29, 2022- speak with May. Puts me on a list for a supervisor to call me back. Promises one will call me back by 8pm. Refuses to provide employee number. Says 60-90 days for refund (we are on day 67). November 30, 2022- speak with Rain. Says I'm on a list for a supervisor for 24-48 hour callback. I explain I'm still waiting for the one to call me back since October 31 and yesterday! Cannot verify if a refund policy exists with company when I ask for one to be emailed to me (to verify # of days). I'm still waiting and full expect to not get my $750 back after 90 days. Not one thing I have been told by anyone on the phone with this company has been truthful. Very terrible business. I'll update once this concludes.

The doctor went above and beyond more than any other medical professional I've ever encountered to explain the risks of surgery and the FL laws related to addictive pain medicine that he is able to prescribe post-op. My son this past month didn't want the oxy that the doctor could prescribe because he is an athlete and will work thru his pain. The doc explained how is own son didn't need potentially addictive pain meds, either. In summary, I like FOS for their position on educating patients, pain management and a faith based practice that said a prayer for my son prior to surgery. They worked with me on scheduling and payments as well. The location is convenient to I4 and 417.

On the flip side, his office staff are rude and nasty humans, and come to find out Dr. DeWild is 10x worse than his staff. He mentioned to my father his wife divorced him and took all of his money, which must be the reason he harasses trauma PT's for money. He wouldn't take my father's wires out without payment. We came in as an emergency trauma and with all the bills we have with my dad, we didn't have the $14,000 he had asked for. You can't refuse to take wires out just bc we are poor. We didn't ask for this all to happen, bill the insurance! After emailing the CNO and risk management for ORMC, my father had his wires removed this morning but in a barbaric way. Dr DeWild yelled at him the entire time saying how dare you contact my boss, I don't do this for free, you must pay he doesn't make enough money... they didn't even put the numbing cream on my fathers gums!!!! He was waiting for it, he even selected a flavor with the nurse and dr DeWild came in gave him shots and was extremely aggressive saying here you'll never have to see me again.... GOOD I HOPE NO ONE EVER SEES YOU AGAIN DR DEWILD. You have the WORST bed side manner I have ever seen! It's truly disgusting and that's why your horrible reviews started 12 years ago and they will absolutely continue. You cannot be a medical bully I won't allow for it. You will be reported in every way I can!

The office personnel just told me in not so many words that they aren't taking new patients and that they don't want my business. So when I went to my second appointment I was late there were multiple traffic matters I am 69 years old I'm not as spot on as I used to be. I was told the doctor does not see anybody who is late. I tried to explain but the office clerk said nobody gets seen late very hateful. Then my 29 year old grandson went in and tried to explain that I was very Sick. They said she's now discharged!! The office people five thumbs down. Doctor Jorge Leal you are a great physician who needs great people working for you. I call it patient abuse.
