I came on Christmas Eve to get my nose pierced. With covid, many places aren't offering under the mask piercings and I searched high and low for places w. Good ratings. I spoke with Caroline over the phone with any questions I had about the piercing and she was very kind over the phone, explained all questions with ease. Caroline was so kind and sweet during my whole session (which took maybe 10 mins). She's very personable and I'd come here again in a heart beat for another piercing. I got an industrial by Mary and had a reaction to the jewelry (not her fault, I don't know I was allergic to surgical steel) and had to get it changed. I went to a different place to get changed and was told my ear was too thin for the piercing and the top/inner one would most likely reject and that I was pierced at strange angles that were pulling the piercings 40 and 90 degrees when I had the bar in. Overall not the worst experience, but I'd go somewhere else for complicated piercings. read more

Loved the place from the second I walked in, could use some more decorations and stuff like that but it is a very cozy and welcoming place to get a tattoo. I got my first tattoo here by Carolyn((total sweetheart btw)). I showed her the tattoo I wanted because it is a tribute piece. I airdropped it to her and BAM she stenciled it exactly how I wanted it. Not a single flaw or turn off with sanitation. Minimum shop price is only $80, which honestly isn't that bad considering how fine my lines were. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could ! Everyone was so kind and easy going and made me feel very comfortable. Got a few butterflies up my arm done by Richie and he is an expert at his craft ! I wanted to get a tattoo in honor of my mom who passed away in 2013. I went on yelp to find the best tattoo place and twin moon came up. I walked in and the place felt so zen. I was attended by Carolyn who was super nice. I showed her what I wanted and she said no problem. This was my 1st tattoo, so I was a little nervous. Carolyn made me feel at ease. I got a piercing here and at first, didn't think much of it since it got the job done I guess. Well after going to a professional piercer, I realized how much of a cash grab the piercing service is here. Before my piercing, I called ahead multiple times to ask what kind of jewelry they had here, and every time I got met with the same vague answer that made it seem like no one knew what they were talking about. I got the piercing done, they put in a hoop instead of a stud, which I found out increases the healing period by MONTHS. It was an overpriced service, with a bad piece of jewelry, which heavily extended the healing time. not to mention they don't wear their masks correctly and it was obvious the piercer didn't even know the diameter of the hoop they were putting in after I asked several times and got no response. read more

I followed Ritchie and Mary from Elmont to Twin Moons. The place is immaculate and the artists are all friendly. Ritchie is a master of his craft. All my tattoos by him are beautiful from the detail to the coloring. I've gotten so many compliments. He did a cover up and drew design on area and it was perfection. got my 2nd tattoo here could not be happier with the experience the artist are much friendlier here at twin moon creations than the shop I got my first tattoo at where the artist messed up two really small spots on it that I have to get it fixed sometime soon. Ive been going to see Cindy (owner) for years, as have most of family and friends. She is a phenominal artist and her work is reknown. Not taking anything away from squid, anthony and joclyn, but if ya want serious ink you wait for the appointment for Cindy. Everything bit of the experience from the price, to the conversation to the orginal art is something not to miss. On a side note, to the one star giver, anthony was probably "close minded" because he didnt want to put something rediculously silly on ya for the rest of your life. read more
