He offered a lot of advice on placement and style. I didn't feel pressured to do anything I didn't want in terms of placement or design which I always appreciate. Neal was super friendly and was very clear about aftercare as well which I appreciate. The place itself was welcoming and clean which I truly appreciate. Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. They chat you up a bit and then you meet your artist. In my case I had Chris Raft who was an expert in eastern and Japanese traditional tattoos. He draws up an example, prints it out and brings you back into the room. This place has separate rooms for each artist. Super clean and upscale looking. He laid down the stencil making sure it's positioned in the exact way wanted. He laid down the finest outline I ever had, filled it in with color that was flawless in every way. Talking the whole time making me feel comfortable. Super cool guy, when it's all done give you the opportunity to review it, take your photos for the gram, and gives you two different ways of protecting it. They have a second skin and the old school way of protecting your investment. The prices here are on the higher end but the services justified the price. You have to remember this is a permanent investment and you shouldn't go by price alone. I will be coming back here to get more work done with Chis in the very near future.

After filling out the form, my artist (madtatter) was super patient with my idiocy. I was obviously new and he was just real patient with me which was great. I showed him a pic of what I wanted with a few minor changes and then he got to it. The tattoo took no more than 15 mins tops. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and given a whole tattoo care instruction sheet, also fantastic. It was basically painless, really not bad for the spot. I was just entirely anxious. I enjoyed my experience and definitely would come back soon for a piercing. The tattoo costed only $60. I've talked to folks with a $100-$150 minimum, so I was very happy with the price as well. I had a terrible experience getting my nose stud changed to a hoop at this shop. For context, the…read morepiercing is 2 years old and had been fully healed for a year. The piercer tried to remove my original jewelry without checking the gauge and mistaked my threadless stud for a screw-top. She had so much trouble removing it that she used two pliers, causing unnecessary trauma to my piercing. Then, she eyeballed the size and inserted a hoop that was clearly too small, causing my nose to bleed further. She then replaced it with a second hoop, again without confirming the proper gauge. My piercing ended up bleeding throughout the entire night. Because the piercer seemed to lack experince, I sought a second opinion who confirmed the gauge was too large and the material wasn't hypoallergenic. I returned to the shop where they refused responsibility, saying they didn't need to confirm my guage because they "know their guages" and dismissed my concerns by saying "all piercers talk sh*t." They've refused to issue a refund despite the clear mishandling. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for safe or professional piercing services.
