The clean beach and lake.
Dean O.

Can't say enough about this place. Great, wooded campground. Plenty for the kids to do - swimming pool, fishing hole, game room, miniature golf, dodge ball area, outdoor kid's movie theatre on the lawn, roomy and scenic camp sites, a beach with a beautiful lake, tennis courts, tether ball, basketball court, ice cream stand and face painting and planned activities. This place has Gordon's campground beat hands down and literally no comparison. There is actually a quiet time here unlike Gordon's in wolcotville Indiana that doesn't enforce loud obnoxious drunks. This is the cleanest, nicest park we have ever been too. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. A+ !!

We have been seasonal guests for 2 seasons. The place has gone downhill a great deal from the 2024…read moreseason to the 2025 season. Staff doesn't seem to last a full season. This season the mowing was inconsistent, the pool not cleaned and maintained and the rest rooms and showers not cleaned and properly stocked. There is an unfinished lodge that hasn't changed in 2 years. There are no park scheduled activities. The WiFi is not dependable. The only other amenity is a pickle ball court. Our total cost for 2025 season was $7350. With the additional charges being added for the 2026 season, we would be charged $8550 for the exact same site. Considering the lack of amenities and consistent maintenance, we just don't feel the value justifies the extreme cost.

Paid 90.$ a night and did not have proper working electricity, on day two the electric faulted and completely shut down while we were out. We had to move to another site at 10pm, very difficult as we did not have power to put slide outs in. This is a want to be premier RV park, but will not get there with this kind of service. Manager didn't care or apologize or offer refund and knew about the faulty electric before our arrival as was told to us by maintenance worker. An all around very bad experience that I would not want anyone else to encounter. Photo of standoffish manager.

We recently spent a couple of nights here so we could relax and visit the RV Hall of Fame…read more Overall it was a nice experience and we liked how accessible this park was to everything in the area. However, we were a little put off that we had asked for a shaded site during the reservation process and were told "no problem" but then when we checked in and reminded them that we wanted a shaded site we were told that they didn't have one for us but the site we had was good too. However the site we got assigned really wasn't so great. In addition to it not being shaded, it was also right next to the dumpster and a large building which housed the laundry area that had outside lights on all night so the view was less than ideal. Since we also seemed to be the only people who were interested in having a fire each night in the crisp September evenings the outside lights of the building really ruined the ambiance. The lackluster site would have been understandable if the campground was full but it was nowhere near full. The entire time we were there we saw plenty of nice, shady sites not being used at all or used for only a single night. Basically, it was just really disappointing that they didn't make any effort to accommodate our simple request for the three nights we were there when it appeared that it would have been easy for them to do so. All that being said we did actually enjoy our stay there. The gentleman that checked us in, Roger, was nice. We purchased 4 bundles of wood for $20 and the amount of firewood and various sizes that they delivered to our site was impressive. The campground overall seemed clean and the people staying there were friendly. We didn't experience people partying or getting rowdy like we have at other campgrounds so it made it easier to relax. Pros: *They accept Good Sam *Most sites are pull-through *Open nature of the campground easily accommodates larger rigs *Sites are pretty level and have lots of grass *Clean *Nice, polite staff *Centrally located. Lots of stores and restaurants super close. Only about 10 min from the RV Hall of Fame *Bundles of firewood are large and a great value *The sites that do have trees are pleasant and inviting *Campground has amenities like a pool and playground so there are things to entertain children *There are cabins available for those who do not have a trailer/RV *Laundry facilities are available Cons: *Staff may say they can accommodate a request and then not do so *Sites near the large building in the center of the campground lack ambiance and the bright outdoor lights from the building can be annoying at night *Lots of noise from the highway *Campground store looked like it could use some sprucing up to make it more inviting *You cannot make online reservations We are thinking of moving to the area and if we decide to do so then we will definitely consider staying there again while we house hunt. That being said, if we do then we'll be more insistent about staying at a site further away from the center building.

We visited our RV manufacturer - Alliance and it proved to be a rewarding experience. The campground itself is rather standard. The services work fine. The internet works fine, a bit of a surprise since there are so many YouTubers staying there. I did find out most of them use Starlink. Nothing to say about that. A nice stay.
