And on my way back I also found that they had samples of Kentucky liquor. It was phenomenal. The taste of this bourbon was out of this world. The lady that was serving the samples was very nice and knew her product very well. I was very impressed with the fact that she knew how to make and mix these with certain mixers. She taught me a lot while I was there speaking with her and learning. I was humbled by how gracious she was at making these mixers and giving me samples. I don't see that very often in liquor stores. After learning about this I decided that my next trip would definitely be buying the Kentucky liquor's. The store is very well maintained and all of the bottles were so beautifully placed on the shelves. Not only that but the displays were absolutely beautiful. As you will see in my pictures you will see how pretty everything looks and arranged nicely. Definitely I will be coming next week to purchase some of the liquors that I have seen. So before I do that I have to ask my guest if they prefer certain liquors and their preference. So this is one of my stores that I love to shop again. We purchased a bottle of the Austin Reserve Gin and it's a favorite when we have guests over. They offer an experience where you can do tastings, see behind-the-scenes, etc. That will be fun to do if we get a chance to visit again. On our visit, I had the Austin Fizz which was made with the reserve gin and Topo Chico. Hands down, the perfect summertime drink. We're big Negroni fans and my boyfriend had one and wow-wee do they get it right! I can't say enough good things about this place. Which, frankly is exactly what I want in a liquor store. Easy in and out. The other thing I like about Lakeway Spirits is if you want something on the reg, the family will make sure they get it for you. My wife and I are pretty low maintenance so it's not a big deal. But the owner did mention it when I spoke to him.(Which I thought was kind). Competing with the big boys in the liquor business in Lakeway Texas is a giant task for a family run business. It's a family run business, which is awesome, and to be honest it seems like Lakeway is turning into a Franchise Freak Show. It's like beyond what the heck are you buying. Also the coffee's here are pretty, pretty good I'm very happy with what I purchased which is ORO Arabic. Yes! You can buy it at 'HEB,it's one of the best kind to buy for coffee. Dog food is getting better. I buy one brand here which is, Stella's freeze dried. My dog loves it. You can buy detergents with coupons to save money. I can't stand the checkouts because usually at a certain time they close registers, and keep the self ,Checkouts open. But knowing me I make a lot of mistakes on those self checkouts and you have to keep waiting for the attendant to come and deal with it one thing I can't stand about it that's a most grocery stores and chains these days. Other than that I'll be making another trip I'm sure in the future to get more supplies and groceries. Big parking lot no problem there. Later!
