Great month stay. Owners were kind and considerate. Not too expensive for the monthly rate.

With nearly 20 years in asset management overseeing multi-million-dollar properties, I can…read moreconfidently say this situation reflects a serious operational failure. The park manager, Tina, removed us from the system and reassigned our PAID and ACTIVE RV site while we were temporarily away at the Houston Rodeo trail ride. Her explanation? An email was allegedly sent, and because there was no reply, she assumed we had moved out. Silence is not confirmation. In professional property management, an unanswered email does not justify removing paying guests from occupancy records. You verify departure. You call. You document confirmation. You do not displace active guests based on assumption. We check our email regularly. There was no email. Even if there had been, failure to respond does not authorize forfeiture of a paid site. We returned to find ourselves displaced. The most concerning part was the lack of accountability. Instead of acknowledging a management error, the justification was treated as sufficient. When occupancy control is this loose, it raises serious concerns about operational standards and guest security. We will not return.

We lasted a little over a week here. We moved into a spot the owner claimed someone just left, it looked like they pushed all the trash out of their rv and left. after a week he had not cleaned it up, so we did. The weeds and grass were so high that the mosquitos were so bad that we couldn't get from our car to the rv with out being eaten alive (my daughter is allergic). We had a RV tech come out because our appliances and ac were not working only to find out the pole we plugged into had to many amps and fried our converter which we had to pay to replace. We asked the owner to have the pole checked, he refused. two days later my brother was shocked as he walked out of his rv, because the pole to his was wired incorrectly and the ground wire was messed up...So we had no choice but to move. We paid for a month in advance. NOW THE OWNER IS REFUSING TO REFUND US, claiming we didnt give him notice, even though i called for 3 days and left him voicemails telling him we were moving and needed to get with him on a refund. SURE its quiet, but many other parks are as well and are not ran by a shady person. Also, if you are a woman, dont even try to communicate with him, apparently he only speaks to men, i guess woman are beneath him!

The biggest highlight is the herb garden; I just love the scent that the garden gives off..its so refreshing. The play area for adults are just two swings near the children's playground. Sitting areas are all throughout the forest which is nice for relaxation. The only thing I had a problem with is the racial profiling I received from an Asian family; it was beyond disrespectful and I wasn't doing anything wrong at all. I was just walking to the swings and these people suspected that I was going to steal their children. Now, the Caucasians here didn't give me a problem; they were actually pretty friendly.

There are many areas of the path that are slightly uneven. The asphalt is starting to show wear and tear. There are not obvious pot holes along the running area but it is slightly uneven. Pay attention to where you are stepping so you don't end up with a sprained ankle. There are some parts of the path where you will be walking on the road. If you are not walking or running, there is a playground area and a multi-purpose field. There are also pavilions that can be used. I would assume they can be reserved but I do not know that for a fact. It is dog friendly but is not considered a dog park. All pets should be kept on leashes. Bottom line: A decent urban park located in Friendswood. Decent running trails but are starting to show their age. Could use an upgrade. Upgrades could result in more stars. Until then, I'll give them three stars.
