He gave me a tour, and encouraged me to come by anytime. Triathletes are permitted before and after hours, and he instructed me on how to pay the $10 entry. Park hours were 10a-5p when I went but you can swim anytime. You can pay via QR code or cash. You do need to sign a waiver, but only once. There is a place to rinse off. There were several other swimmers when I was there. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The best part was the water! It was warm of course given the time of year but it was beautiful. I much prefer this to Lake Longhorn. Two laps is 1.2mi, four is 2.4.

We…read morehave 2 rvs, one for us and one for my brother in law. our intent was find somewhere off the beaten path because we were going to be there 6+months and needed a homely place that was safe since we have babies and work daily. We lasted a little over a week here. We moved into a spot the owner claimed someone just left, it looked like they pushed all the trash out of their rv and left. after a week he had not cleaned it up, so we did. The weeds and grass were so high that the mosquitos were so bad that we couldn't get from our car to the rv with out being eaten alive (my daughter is allergic). We had a RV tech come out because our appliances and ac were not working only to find out the pole we plugged into had to many amps and fried our converter which we had to pay to replace. We asked the owner to have the pole checked, he refused. two days later my brother was shocked as he walked out of his rv, because the pole to his was wired incorrectly and the ground wire was messed up...So we had no choice but to move. We paid for a month in advance. NOW THE OWNER IS REFUSING TO REFUND US, claiming we didnt give him notice, even though i called for 3 days and left him voicemails telling him we were moving and needed to get with him on a refund. SURE its quiet, but many other parks are as well and are not ran by a shady person. Also, if you are a woman, dont even try to communicate with him, apparently he only speaks to men, i guess woman are beneath him!

The owners plan events such as a Halloween pumpkin painting and trick or treating here at the RV park which is perfect for families. The owners are really great. The only reason anyone complains about them on here is because they were evicted (salty ppl).I would recommend ignoring Martha's review she is angry that she had to be kicked out. We had to deal with her personally, she is extremely RUDE and disrespectful. Once she leaves (soon) and stops making us feel uncomfortable since she is our neighbor we will really feel at home here!! This place is nice, clean and new. As for price, it is the cheapest you can find with the amenities they provide such as a nice and clean laundry room, concrete pads and a pond for fishing. Everyone else at the park is extremely friendly, people take daily walks with their pets and stop by to greet each other. The environment is friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend the Bend RV park.
