Basically a gift shop - expected a ranger with more detailed info on the area. But the bike trail from there is really nice.

A spur of the moment decision made me turn off the highway to look for lunch in Twin Falls when I…read moresaw the Buzz Langdon Visitor Center. I am so glad I stopped. This is a wonderful stop. They are located outside of Twin Falls at the Snake River. The scenery here is more than enough for you to stop. Then there is the is Perrine Bridge, which is one of the highest bridges in the US. You don't have to go inside the visitor's center to enjoy it. But, the inside is nice as well. They have exhibits, a shop and clean bathroom. They had a nice exhibit of the Minidoka National Historical Site. They had a wagon/stage coach belonging to Mr. I. B. Perrine. The shop had lots of souvenirs for the state of Idaho. The bathroom was so clean that my wife didn't complain. When traveling through Twin Falls, this is a good stop. Lots of good stuff to see here.

Had to make a quick stop to see this lovely bridge on our way out of town! Perrine Bridge is the…read more8th highest bridge in the U.S. and is famous among BASE jumpers as it's one of the only BASE jumping sites in the country where it's allowed year round without a permit. The bridge is a memorial to one of the main founders of the surrounding town of Twin Falls, I. B. Perrine. It looms 486 feet above the beautiful Snake River. The Snake River Valley is quite a sight to see just in and of itself! The views from all angles around the bridge are gorgeous! And I love that they let the BASE jumpers jump whenever they like without all the red tape complications. My only complaint is I didn't get to see anyone jumping on our visit lol! There's a nice memorial statue and plaque to I.B. Perrine and also to BASE jumping in the park next to the bridge viewpoint. There's also a nice dedication to famous BASE jumper Austin Carey who lost his life on a jump into a turbulent river back in 2020. The viewing deck was icy and slick in some spots so be aware during winter. There's a visitor center on site as well with a gift shop and restrooms and even a model bridge. We didn't go in as we had time constraints so can't speak to it personally. Plenty of parking on site and it's an easy stop just off the main highway. We had fun driving over the bridge afterward too!

Guests above were noisy and when called, left on hold. Free breakfast late but okay - coffee lukewarm and bananas green and hard. Could use better management but good pet policy and location.

I found out later why she was telling me the specific hours that I was allowed to buy the wine. I'm from Reno, NV where you can buy alcohol practically anywhere and at any time of day, or night. Unlike Idaho, where they have state liquor stores. Or other limited places with lots of restrictions. Potentially the frustration of trying to find your drink of choice, makes you drink less?! Very comfy bed in a really nice quiet room. Nice pool and hot tub. it was a little weird in the hall outside my room. For some reason the guests across the hall liked to leave their door open whenever they were in it. Luckily you could hear everything that was going on in the room, a family with kids. But still feeling the need to quickly dash into my room before being grabbed from behind from an open door. Great location easy access to everything including Shoshone falls Just 20minutes away.
