We have had an excellent experience with Twin Boro Physical Therapy in Clark,NJ. We are a two patient family and both of us have had the benefit of Krisstoffer Abarabar's patience and skill. I have recovered well from both a knee and shoulder replacement, one following the other in a few months,and had therapy with Kris before and after the procedures. My husband is dealing with a chronic condition requiring therapy over a long period and Kris has provided wonderful support and assistance to him. I cannot say enough about Kris' responsiveness, encouragement, and very calm demeanor. He listens well to all our concerns freely offering helpful suggestions. Marcus, Jordan and John have been very helpful as well seeing to it that we are being cared for. This Twin Boro facility offers an efficient and friendly environment where everyone seems willing to pitch in. The office staff including Anastasia, Jan, Stephanie and Nicole are always friendly and willing to work with us and our changing schedules. 1st appointment great, then it went downhill from there. 6 sessions total. They overbook and under deliver. There were several times when there were 6-10 patients there with only 1 or 2 physical therapists. The PT assistants were not good. They would approach me and ask "what exercises did you do last time"? Never checking my file or consulting with my "PT". I also thought that the staff had excessive conversations with each other about sports, places to eat and their weekends. I felt like I was at a "frat party" several times. Unprofessional in my opinion. They did not focus on the patients. They were quick to assign several exercises and then leave you to do them never supervising or checking if you were doing the exercises correctly. In addition, loud music was playing every time I was there ...the manager constantly changing it and checking in with the staff to see if they liked it. Really? The last appointment I had was a Friday at 3. There were 7 patients there while a baby shower (or some sort of party) going on during business hours!!!!!! All PT's and assistants were enjoying the party while we were sitting there for over 15 minutes waiting to start out session - SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I shared this with my Ortho Doctor and he said this was the only place he herd "not so good" things about this palce. read more

I highly recommend this facility with state of the art equipment and extremely knowledgeable Doctors and staff. Aaron Abiog, Brian Kennedy and the entire staff at the Twin Boro Clark location is top notch. As a mother to the patient, twin boro office staff helped me navigate difficult health insurance and doctor orders isuring my son was able to start his PT quickly after surgery. The doctors and assistants are so experienced, caring and attentive. I was impressed with the time they gave him, making sure he had a quick recovery since he has to go back to college. They even set up a program for him to do while he's at college and will be checking in on him over the next few months. I am so thankful for all the support they provided! read more

Wife just finished-up here after 12 weeks. I must say, they are professional and dillegent at ensuring that goals are accomplished. The facility is clean as infection control and sanitation protocols were followed. Staff was courteous. The only deficit issue observed was the two doors to the entrance were not automatic and impeded some clients from entering the building who were elderly, used walkers, walking canes or other assistive devices. I highly recommend this company. A therapist named Jeffrey was exceptional. My wife could barely walk post spine surgery. After 12 weeks with Jeffrey, she is walking and moving much better as he provided not just the therapy but also meaningful encouragement. read more

The familial atmosphere that exists adds much to the recovery process, to the point that patients feel like part of the culture there. It is so hard to find a Physical Therapy office that actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and have the experience/knowledge to help your condition improve, I can say that I finally found it here! Not only that, the place is clean, and everyone is nice. Some offices give you a hard time with scheduling and paperwork, but my experience here has been organized and runs like a well oiled machine. The therapists I have worked with included Justin and Chris and they have both been so nice and professional. I entered PT thinking I could stabilize or improve on my rotator cuff injury but I never thought I'd be able to completely reverse it; and that's what happened. After working with Justin, it's like my injury never happened. He adjusts his routines to match your progress and gives you an at-home program to continue your rehab This is a a great facility. It gets busy at times, but you still get the personal attention that you would at a smaller place. Parking is ample and it's located next door to the Barnes and Noble. Administration is smooth and scheduling is flexible. I'm back in the game and feel like I could do a triathlon. I won't, but I feel like I can. read more

Stay away form this place. Completely unethical billing practices. First of all, you'll receive several bills for each visit that are not itemized and do not state what they are charging you for. Then if you pay using a Health Savings Account, they will claim to have not received any payments from you and only from the insurance company. I guess they don't know the difference. Anyway, they will deny receiving your payments and will continue to send you bills that have already been paid in full. These repeated bills will also not be itemized. read more

I had a really complicated foot surgery, and my physical therapy was scheduled for over nine months. Larry Bock and his team at Twin Boro followed all of the prescribed treatments meticulously, and after each visit, I felt so much better. By the end of the treatment, I was able to walk over two miles again and stand for a concert! All of the staff, especially Larry, TJ, Elaine, and the rest were so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. I had frozen shoulder (Adhesive capsulitis). I had limited range of motion; I could barely raise my arm. In addition, I was in excruciating pain. My doctor recommended Physical Therapy as I could not take the cortisone shots. Surgery was mentioned as a last resort. Well I went to Twin Boro Physical Therapy in Clark, NJ for several months and this was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My therapist was awesome! Great job!!! I must say that the entire team from the front desk support, the PT aides and all of the Physical Therapists were welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and very clear on the goal of helping to heal the patient.
