There is an apparent disconnect between the doctors and patient expectations with the staff. I would suggest the doctors; but go to a different office. The experience I had with the Union office was the best ever. The experience I had with the Linden office was the worst. The office staff is not honest; nor do they care (except for the surgical coordinators - they are great). Once again - doctors yes - Linden office - not if you want to be frustrated, aggravated, or deceived.

My dr at Union County Ortho and Kessler are in the same building. The Tuesday evening rehab team is great! My shoulder had been cracking from arthritis and tendonitis. After the very first session, the cracking was almost gone. Monte's team is very caring and want you to feel better. After 6 weeks op PT, returned to the dr, "surgery not needed" unless I have further painful symptoms! success :-) Am going to continue PT for a few more weeks to continue to strengthen the shoulder. From scheduling my initial visit…read morethrough receiving a post-visit feedback survey, this office is remarkably efficient and effective. I like the appropriate use of technology to provide care. For example, after booking my initial appointment with Dr. Mina, I received a confirmation email that included a link to the website. The website has an employee portal where I could enter my medical, demographic and contact information online. So when I arrived for my appointment, I didn't have have to fill out all of the paperwork that typically precedes consulting with the doctor. The doctor and staff had the information ahead of time. The office environment is clean, bright, quiet, organized and comfortable. Signage clearly welcomes and directs newcomers on where to go from the parking lot. The office is staffed appropriately with receptionists, nurses, technicians, and support staff so that you don't waste time waiting to be examined. Everyone was friendly, yet professional. I didn't feel rushed, but I felt that things moved along quickly. Dr. Mina is personable, smart, and great at explaining his diagnoses, recommended course of treatment, options and potential outcomes. I received an email confirmation of my next appointment, and a separate email offering me an opportunity (via a link) to provide this feedback. Most importantly, my pain has been relieved and I'm making progress toward complete recovery. If given the option of a ten star rating, they earned a 10, in my opinion.

Was told by a Dr Kelly " oh you feel like you can't breathe, What do you expect me to do there's nothing, what what" As also told by a Dr Kelley that four broken and possibly infected teeth would not cause breathing problems because respiratory is not connected to mouth at all (lie?). Dr. Womack and Dr Grayson repeated this. Dr Grayson also snapped and said heck if your teeth are bothering you see a damn dentist. We don't care about that here. Was told by a Dr. Silacci " your trouble breathing and heart problems are not the concern of this hospital." Was told by Dr. Davis "why are you expecting us to help you, how dare you expect us to fix your engine when this place is for tune ups. (Doctor likened patients to worthless pieces of scrap metal.) A nurse one time even put the pulse oximeter on my middle finger, showed me my own middle finger, laughed and then exited the room. Very bad. Hospital says that they will help you regardless of who you are or your ability to pay. They will not. I've had trouble doing things all my life. No one is really going to care what is really going or why something happened. Just shut up or TS. Things never really do get better as they say. Don't come here expecting them to save your life because they probably will not. Only worse. Don't know a place that is good to go as the healthcare I experienced in the area has only been bad. If you can't go elsewhere or fight for yourself....thats all she wrote. Even though you try to do what they day, you never really do get what you need. So keep that in mind as well folks. Whispers of gay conversion therapy also reared its ugly head. Didn't know that was still a thing. Yikes!

Excellent hospital very helpful to my mom in the ICU and ER. They need to EXPAND and RWJ does not…read morehelp them do so as the main company. I do not know why .They are great, work well with other people and have plenty of kind people for our community which is growing. A patient tower and parking deck need to be added to the hospital, and then add a few more things. More needs to be done from the Corporate system not just for Cooperman Barnabas and RWJ in New Brunswick but for RAHWAY as well. Lets start a major addition and campaign
