I'm really shocked that twigs doesn't have great reviews because all my experiences have been wonderful. My friend sent me a bouquet that was absolutely lovely. Later, I sent my mother a bouquet and she was out of office doing a training at another location. They were at her office trying to deliver, and she told them she was away and they took the flowers to her training! Great customer service. Ordered Valentines flowers for my wife, ordered directly from Twigs website. I ordered an arrangement of Gerber Daisies my wife's favorite. There were three price points for the arrangements and I ordered the premium arrangement for $62.95 which was the most expensive. I have ordered flowers many times for my wife but this was the first time going through a local florist instead of FTD. The arrangement arrived pretty late in the day but for Valentines day not to bad around 4:30 pm. The arrangement consisted of 7 Gerber daisies and some babies breathe, I have paid less from FTD and received much more. I wonder if they sent me the basic one by mistake but I will not know because they do not answer their phone or reply to emails. I will not order flowers from them again. Update Feb 19th, they resent another arrangement today for free to my wife. This arrangement was a 100% better than first. I read on their Facebook page they had contracted with a new delivery service that was not the best but no explanation why the arrangement was no good. I thought I should update that they did send another arrangement that was quite good and they did send it for free. read more

Very disappointing experience. The flowers looked nothing like what I'd ordered - just look at the pictures below. I'd selected the deluxe version of an arrangement with lilacs, my mother's favorite flower. What she received was an arrangement that had one wilted lilac sprig, and a few other flowers - overall much smaller than what I'd expected from the deluxe. I didn't receive a phone call about any issues with the lilacs, and they weren't substituted for other flowers. When I called to voice my dissatisfaction, I was offered a partial refund and advised that the florists "felt everything that was in there that should've been but you're obviously not satisfied." I was further told that lilacs "aren't meant for commercial arrangements. Have you ever picked a lilac? They're good for about a day. The growers try their best." If a flower type is not suitable for an arrangement, don't offer it. Blaming me for selecting a product that you advertise your ability to make is ridiculous. And if the flowers you've received aren't of good quality, I should've received a phone call to substitute something different. Will never use this company again. read more

I found this shop on Lovely and the reviews there were very high. I should have checked Yelp reviews first! I live out of state and ordered flowers for my Mother in laws birthday. I never got the confirmation email it states I would at the completion of order. So, hours later I called the shop and was informed they did have the order and were processing it. The next day my MIL got her flowers- she loves them. Who doesn't love getting a bouquet of flowers delivered?! The reason she loves them is because she doesn't know how much I paid for such a sloppy, colorless, boring bundle of flowers. There is one red rose, some random purple daisy type flowers, a lily, and A LOT of green leaves. I paid $100!!!! It should not cost more than $40.. and that is being generous. There are leaves shoved in the vase and hanging over it to add "filler" I suppose. But the whole thing is just a hot mess. Now it is day 2 and the flowers are wilted. My MIL loves plants and knows all the tips/tricks to keeping them healthy and beautiful for long periods, so I know its not from lack of care. They are just old sloppy flowers. I gave two stars because they did deliver the next day for free. But I really do advised to go somewhere else if you want a beautiful, healthy bouquet. read more

"Fool me once..." Never again will I order flower arrangements from this company. I wouldn't even take them nor have them delivered even if offered for free. Reasons? The awful experiences began when I ordered an arrangement online, using their website to make my selection. I thought it would be convenient and - silly me - accurate. I ordered the most deluxe (i.e. expensive) version of my pick. I expected it to be a larger version (more flowers) than the relatively smaller version shown their site. So, the flowers are delivered, and when I get a thank-you and a photograph of them from the recipient I was shocked. There was simply no way value for the money paid was equal. I felt ripped off. I immediately sent an email to TFC to complain about it. Did I hear back from anyone? No - and I waited a good amount of time for a reply. The next step was to call them directly. I spoke with a female employee who sounded like SHE was the one being imposed upon. I wanted a refund for the difference in what I paid vs. what was delivered. Instead, I was mailed a gift certificate to use at any future date. I was so livid, at the time I could never foresee ever using their services again. But...time had passed. And I still had the gift certificate (which was for $20-30). A holiday was coming up and I thought I would give them a second chance. What a mistake. So I placed another order. Again, I selected the deluxe version of an arrangement. This time, I showed up in person to place the order. I specifically asked for them to be delivered on a Sunday, as I wanted the recipient to be home when the drop-off was made. I even have the receipt with Sunday circled as THE day delivery was to be made. So what happened next? The delivery was made on a Saturday, the recipient wasn't home, and the arrangement was left with a neighbor. Exactly what I did NOT want to happen. I didn't bother wasting my time to complain again. Given what happened the first time I used them, it's easy to see why. Absolutely horrendous, I will - and I repeat - never order from them again. The other negative reviews for this place should serve anyone with fair warning against making the mistakes that they - and myself - made. If you somehow still feel compelled to order from them, I would STRONGLY suggest - especially if you place an order online - that you try and get a photograph from the recipient (if you will not be able to see the delivered flowers yourself) to verify that you receive what you have paid for. If I hadn't I WOULD have gotten ripped off and never would have known. read more

My husband ordered flowers for valentines and they unfortunately didn't make it. We got worried when the line seemed to be disconnected. He finally got ahold of someone and they had hired some help for the holiday and they ended up not being very helpful. The woman my husband talked to was very apologetic and offered a refund on the spot. We love when businesses have great customer service. I wish I knew how to post pictures so I could show the difference between what was promised and what showed up...and then. The replAcement never showed up and no phone call ! My sister ordered from 1800flowers that works with TWIGS to fill orders ..TWIGS in Salt Lake City, Utah..... Today a replacement was to have been delivered - no show ! A I stopped in the store to show them the pictures and the woman at the counter said " we could never make that !" .....so, oddly, they arranged with 1800flowers to make that for today ?..?..? No wonder they didn't show up...,they promised to make it the first time and didn't..why would anyone be surprised they didn't show up when they told my sister and 1800flowers that they could...? BTW : it is just a standard, run of the mill , 1800 florist arrangement.. Yes, beautiful but nothing not shown on the vast majority of florals websites as something to order.. 5/18 The replacement didn't show up yesterday and no one called...When we called them they said they had a problem sending out flowers ... Not sure what the bad reviews are about, or perhaps I got lucky. I was able to get within 24 hour delivery to my mother for her birthday. The flowers were fresh, the arrangement beautiful, the card to her surprise was beautifully handwritten. Had a death in the family and wanted to send my husband something. I chose to shop online and local. I spent 30 to 45 minutes looking on their site (not a partner type site) for just the right thing. Sure enough, not 5 minutes later, I get a call that they don't have the arrangement that I picked. She gives me two random names of other arrangement to pick from over the phone that don't match anything on their site. Cancelled order - waste of time. read more

The first time I ordered from them my order was perfect. However, my more recent order was awful. I understand that they can change the order without telling me, but I would expect the same quality product. The flowers were the same, but the vase was the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Was ordering online, clicked confirm, then the confirmation page had a completely different bouquet listed (obviously more expensive). You'd think this would be an easy fix. I email, twice, no response. Then I try to call all day, either busy or immediately cuts out. Finally get an email response: "please sir what is your order number". I respond. Last I ever hear from them. Now I'm in a bind, because I don't know if I need to order from somewhere else before mother's day. Would never use this company for anything. read more

I have gone to this Florist twice and they do did a great job both times. The first time I described what I wanted and left the rest to the florist and it came out perfect! The recipient loved them. I called first thing on a Saturday for a rush order for 11 small, individual bouquets, which I needed within the hour. The bouquets were stunning - unique, beautiful, inexpensive but high quality, and exactly what I needed. Worst flower shop experience ever. Ordered a plant of miniature red roses for wife's birthday. It showed up two days late, looked like two plants grabbed out of home center -- not roses at all -- extra charge for a Mylar baloon that wasn't included. Basically a total a rip off. I was out of town when all this happened. I called twice to see if it would get there on time, never did, even though they said "it went out that day". Wish I would have cancelled the order after it didn't appear, but it was a holiday the next day. When my wife received it, she said it was two days late, but the delivery person just made excuses instead of saying "Sorry". I can't but wish I could give it zero stars. read more

Ordered flowers for an anniversary. Delivered on the wrong day. Email not replied to, customer service chat promised someone would 'reach out' to me. How difficult can it be to deliver on Tuesday as ordered and not the same day? If I'd seen the horrendous reviews on Google+ before ordering I'd have gone elsewhere. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE EVER! My husband ordered flowers for me for my birthday. He ordered April 14th at 6pm for delivery on April 18th. THey were to be delivered to my work. My husband called and asked when they would be delivered and they said they would be delivered between 2:30pm and 5pm. I get off work at 4pm. I waited so I could get the flowers. Kim the delivery driver called me at 4:30pm and said she would deliver the flowers before 5pm. Suddenly at 4:36pm I received 2 emails saying that they were DELIVERED. THEY WERE NOT. I thank spoke with Kim again at 4:50pm when she notified me that she would not be able to deliver them before 5pm. I then called BEFORE 5pm and no one answered. I left a message asking the call to be returned. I called the next day at 11:30am after not hearing from them and the girl that answered was extremely rude and hung up on me. I will never do business with them again and will make sure people know their business practices. read more

I ordered the lovely lavender bouquet for Mother's Day, and all of the roses were completely opened up and already had petals ready to fall off. I sent an email asking about it and if they would do anything to fix the situation and never heard back from them. I'm sure it wasn't the most expensive bouquet but at 75.00 I still would like healthy flowers. I'm giving three stars because the other flowers in the bouquet were lovely. read more

First of all, flowers are supposed to make people happy, and the worst part about our transaction with Twigs was that my husband felt guilty that I didn't get beautiful anniversary flowers and I was irritated (with them, not him). We didn't let it ruin our day, but it did kind of start it off wrong. The very opposite of his intention. My husband sent me, or tried to send me, flowers on our anniversary...they came too late for me to get them until the next day. When they didn't show up he tried calling, but they never answered (all day long). There is absolutely no resemblance between what he ordered and what showed up. The arrangement was kind of embarrassing honestly. Not worth what he paid in any way..I am disappointed and would never use them again. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I wish I could give them a negative 5 stars I ordered flowers for Mothers Day to be delivered the Saturday before. The first problem I uncounted was that the flowers were not delivered on Saturday even though I received an email stating that they were. My mom was home that day and went around to her neighbors looking for what was supposedly delivered but nothing was found. So I emailed this company hoping to get a response but nothing. On Sunday some flowers were delivered but they were nothing like what I ordered. The vase was different, the flower was different and even the greens were different. I could not even find the arrangement on their website that I got but it was all wrong except the card. Additionally the chocolates that I ordered were incorrect. I was very upset. When I called the next day the woman who answered the phone told me that I got the florist choice, even though I gave her my order number, and that I didn't get to choose what flowers I got. I told her that the website let me choose my flowers so she said she would research my order and call me back. When she called back she told me that there is no way that I got the wrong flowers, but if I did the company reserves the right to change out flowers to a like product. It was nothing but excuses from these people, everything from the driver mixed up the cards to taking no accountability at all and telling me I needed to take a picture and prove the flowers were wrong. They didn't even address that they didn't deliver it on time even though they sent me an email that they did. When I told them I couldn't get in my mom's house to take a picture they told me they would wait and if I wanted different flowers I would have to take them from my mom and bring them back (because if you want to return something to a company you have to bring it back). Yeah, I want to know when I have to bring a pizza back that was made wrong...just bad business. I asked if they would just send the correct flowers that they claimed were in stock and send the correct arrangement to my mom and pick up the wrong one. They refused and again accused my of lying about the flowers I received. Then they confessed and said they didn't have the flowers I ordered in stock anymore. I asked them about the chocolates that I bought and they claimed that even though I bought a box of chocolates they must have upgraded me since they use the best chocolate in UT. I ordered a box of chocolate and my mom got a small bag of 8 salted caramels...not much of an upgrade. So the lesson to be learned is that if you want to order from this place please know that they can, if they choose or get lazy, change out everything about what you order and they will not apologize or take any accountability. I might have given them 2 stars if the first thing they said was I'm sorry, but they only accused me of being a liar and a thief and made up excuses. My husband told them that he planed to give them a bad review and the woman on the phone told him that she didn't care and that they have been in business a long time and one bad review doesn't matter. Apparently customers don't matter. They get one star because they gave me a refund. That was the only thing they did right. I highly don't recommend them. read more

Crooked florist. Buyer beware! I have purchased several arrangements (online) through the years through FTD. This particular florist has been responsible for delivering those flowers. After their delivery on Saturday, for a Mother's Day gift, I can stay silent no more. We, as others have noted, purchased a premium arrangement and that was not what was delivered. We expected 8 to 10 premium flowers in the arrangement and it arrived with 4. This similar experience has occurred 3 times now in the last 18 months using the same online order system and what turns out to be the same florist in Utah. Whatever, their parent company, FTD, thinks they are doing, they most certainly are not. You have been warned. read more

Ordered two floral arrangements for my mother and my mother-in-law for Mother's Day 2018. A few of my siblings and I went in on the largest "premium" size they offer on the website. It was described as being full of lilacs and tulips and very fragrant, which is what we wanted. Upon seeing it in person, it was sooooo much smaller than described on the website. It had a total of 2 half-opened tiny little lilacs, zero tulips, and was not the color scheme of shades of purples as described. They did add some pretty peonies into the mix, which were nice, but we ordered this bouquet because it had so many lilacs and tulips pictured. The other filler flowers were cheap ones you get with any generic bouquet from a retail store. We were expecting a beautiful, fragrant bouquet, and it was a sad little arrangement that you could barely notice on her table and had zero fragrance. I should have just picked lilacs from my own garden and it would have made a bigger impression and actually smelled good, and could have saved us $150. My mother-in-law's arrangement looked as if it had fallen over during delivery and someone shoved the flowers back into the vase a quickly as possible, and, of course, like the other bouquet, it was much, much smaller than described on their website. Also, they sent out emails confirming that each bouquet had been delivered, one at 2:15 and the other at 2:25 pm. They actually didn't show up until nearly 4:00 pm that day. Not impressed with this company at all. What you get is nothing like what is advertised. Very overpriced, mediocre arrangements that you could save big and just go buy something better at the local grocery store. Disappointed in this experience and will not be ordering from Twigs again. read more

I was more than pleased by my experience with Twigs! I didn't interact with staff as I ordered online but it was so easy and honest. I've ordered flowers through other companies and they add on charges and upgrades at the end without permission, it is dishonest. I appreciate doing a straight forward sale. This is just a comment on a very limited experience. Seems like most of the issues with this company is in the ordering and delivery area, not being able to see what you're getting and things not lasting very long. My experience was just seeing two bouquets that they made on late notice. Both were beautiful and the flowers were stunning. The combination of flowers was very fitting - big, bright, colorful, and at their peak the day they were purchased from the store. The flowers haven't kept very well since then. My take away from what I've read and experienced is that this may be a place to pick out a great arrangement IN PERSON with the expectation that it will look great, but won't last much more than a day or two. read more

My husband sent me flowers for my birthday, as he had to be out of town due to an emergency. But apparently I was gone - the only time that day - when they came by. So instead of trying again, or anything really, they left a note saying they left the flowers at my neighbor's - and left his name and address. First, this seems like a huge violation of confidentiality - how do they know if i know my neighbor, how do they know if we get along, i don't necessarily want my neighbor (the one they left it with is a COMPLETE STRANGER to me) to know anything about me and certainly not when my birthday is and who is sending me flowers and they could read the note, for goodness sake. Furthermore, this requires me to go get the flowers, or my neighbor to come bring them to me. The poor guy brought them to me, and he spilled half the water on his way over, and seemed really confused as to why he was at my door with my birthday flowers. I bet my husband paid a lot of money - some of which was meant for the DELIVERY PERSON to deliver flowers to my door. read more

I ordered Valentine's flowers 8 days in advance, double checked to make sure they would arrive in the morning and they never delivered. Valentine flowers don't matter the day after. To add to this experience they delivered them at noon on Feb 15th... horrible. The flowers were not that great and had obviously wilted from being in a truck all night. read more
