Twigs Floral: I ordered a flowering plant for my Mom-who was just put into assisted living. Connie delivered the plant and went above and beyond by taking a photo of my mom and the delivery and sending it to me. This was very thoughtful. We will do business with this florist again. Thank you, Connie. read more

Guys, you've gotta step it up if you want to survive as a small local business or the "big guys" will just keep coming. The only reason I'm leaving this detailed review is because I CARE ABOUT THE SURVIVAL OF OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES. Chances are it's falling on deaf ears because you have not responded to a single review, whether positive or negative. That's not a good sign. With the exception of your most recent review from May, your track record speaks for itself. My experience wasn't so great, and here's why: First I tried to place an online order for a $65 flower arrangement. When I got to the checkout page there was a surprise $9.99 "website fee". Nobody likes surprise charges. When I called, the girl who answered said it was something your website service enforces and will not change. Note, she didn't offer to take my order over the phone. I was was the one who thought of that and called back to place my order. The only reason I'm giving you 2 stars instead of 1 is because you acknowledged the situation and gave me a somewhat reasonable credit. However, whoever I spoke with was defensive and ready with excuses. So the clincher was that the arrangement I received looked nothing like the arrangement I ordered. Your arrangements must (at least) come close to the visual description on your website. And if you don't have those flowers pictured available, the customer must be notified. Your florists need to pay close attention to this, or you're going to go down and out of business. Guaranteed. Engage with your reviewers. Thank them for the positive ones, and respond to the negatives. Be transparent about inventory and charges. Focus on outstanding customer service, and you just might survive. read more

This flower shop is USELESS. Tried calling over a dozen times and nobody answers the phone during their normal business hours. The flowers that were sent look NOTHING like the order that was placed. These look like a bad grocery store location and would have been 7.00 compared to the 59.19 that was spent. They should be ASHAMED. read more

Do you like color, healthy flowers, and good design? If so, choose another florist. I order the florist's choice for my husband's birthday and we were both disappointed. When he opened the door and saw them he said, "Who sent this ratty ass looking arrangement?" The whole arrangement is bland, with no real color and no pop. The flowers are clearly dying and not fresh. The vase is way too large in proportion to the flowers. The flowers look far better in these photos than they do in person. I assume that goes for all the arrangements on their site. After paying $60 for an arrangement, another $10 to support local florists, and a $5 delivery tip, my money would have been far better spent on a grocery store bouquet and some candies. Save yourself some money and do not order here. read more

Their phone number is invalid and they don't respond to emails. I'm just hoping I actually receive what I paid for.

If I could give zero, I would. I chose local to the recipient of an office gift. Now one would have to receive their flowers to even rate the quality of the work, right? The address was correct, the person was home, and no delivery occurred. And no one picked up the phone when I called Twigs. An office chipped in to buy a retiree flowers and was cheated by this business. read more

The hostility was stunning, the lying was extra. Do not order online. They will skimp, and then lash out at you if you ever actually reach them on the phone (good luck). Forget about email or social media (though they will lie through their teeth about having replied to your emails). The flowers were bad. Like discount gas station bad. Maybe someone in a pinch might, with no other options, fork out $25 or $30 for what Twigs ended up delivering. Maybe. We paid nearly $90. 90 bucks pissed away on a tacky-ass discount gas station arrangement (seven or eight sad looking daises, wilted and sprinkled sparingly into a garishly cheap fish bowl, nothing remotely resembling the higher end Halcyon Heart we ordered at a steep premium). But the hostility and belligerence over the phone was something else. The florist responsible angrily hung up on us (after shouting and ranting at us for several minutes, lying about easily verifiable details for reasons that are beyond me). Weirdest phone call I've had in years. And of course he would not honor their own policies. There are less dysfunctional flower shops around the corner and across town, that don't bilk or skimp. Shops who don't lash out and treat their customers like trash after delivering expensive garbage. Don't waste your money or time ordering online from this one. read more

I am located out of state. Chose this floral shop based on the positive reviews and their nearby location to my friend's home. Flowers arrived within a few hours of ordering them. I paid $75 for a handful of flowers in a tiny vase. It looked nothing like the photo I chose, and had even upgraded to "Premium". When I called to complain I was told that it was too late to do anything about it. It was two weeks later, but I had to drag it out of my sister that it was really substandard. She told me that you could get a better and fresher bouquet at Costco for $9.99. Won't make this mistake again. I'll look to Yelp to help me out. read more

I am Very disappointed with my flower order. It was described as the following : Bright purple hues pop among creamy white blooms for a stunning, feminine display! "White roses and alstroemeria are complemented with purple tulips, stock, and daisies in a chic leaf-lined glass vase." NO white roses, NO tulips, NO daisies. I bought this for someone whos mother had just passed away. I spent $90 and was expecting something beautiful like the photo. I understand that you can't make it look exactly the same, but this was not worth what I paid for. I will NEVER order from here again. read more

This place is a JOKE!!!! Talk about taking advantage of customers. My children ordered a supposedly nice arrangement of a live plant for their Uncles funeral!! Paid $100.00 for this tiny little thing that was half dead by the evening it was delivered. For services the next day the flowers were completely wilted. This so called arrangement( Garden of Memories) did not look anything like the web site picture. It was very small(about 12 inches by 6 inches) and even the basket was not like the picture. This company will NEVER be used again If I could give it ZERO stars I would do so!! My kids money should be totally refunded to them!!!! Vicky Rodriguez read more

If I could rate a negative star I would. Waste of money! I received a sympathy floral arrangement from my friend as my cousin passed away. The flowers arrived on Tuesday and Thursday they were dead. I called the florist and the person who answered said he would talk the owner. Never received a call. Call back on Monday and spoke to another person who said she would talk to the owner. No one called me back, instead they credited 1/2 of the floral arrangement to my friend. This is such bad customer service. I will never purchase anything from them. The flowers turned out great! Great customer service too. I inconveniently ordered over the phone instead of online, and the lady who picked up patiently took down all my information and included a handwritten letter with a customized message. My son in Virginia had a small bouquet sent for my birthday. Initially I thought it was so nice to have a photo of the bouquet sent by the driver to let me know it was on the doorstep. The problem was the flowers were NOT fresh. There was brown along the edges of some of the yellow roses, dead leaves and several dead buds. There were also too many stems squished into a very small vase which will cause flowers to die prematurely. I called to talk to someone about it and was told the driver would return to pick up the bouquet and a partial refund would be given to my son because the driver would have to be paid. I asked why a partial refund and was told the driver had to be paid. I told the gentleman that a partial refund was not acceptable, and a business which sent old flowers should eat the cost of the driver or replace the flowers. He left me on the line to speak with the owner and came back to say the driver would be back to pick up the flowers and my son would get a full refund. The driver indeed returned and at this point the refund has not been made. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Who goes and picks up flowers sent for someone's birthday without offering to replace them with a fresh bouquet? Not to mention have the common courtesy to apologize. A very disappointing experience. read more

I had such a pleasant experience with Twigs. The owner was incredibly helpful when it came to helping me pick what type of flowers would match my colors. He designed the groomsmen boutonnieres, the bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet and the flower girls flower crown. He delivered the flowers to my venue on time and the flowers were in BEAUTIFUL/FRESH condition. He also gave me a free signature table vase and flower arrangement. I would definitely recommend Twigs to anyone looking to purchase flowers for any occasion. read more

These flowers were delivered 2 hours late after my husband had already left work, the surprise was completely ruined and we thought he wasn't even getting them. That's not ok I ordered these a week in advance not last minute there was no reason for a late delivery. If I could give zero stars I would! We live out of state and ordered some flowers for our mom's birthday. The arrangement online looked very nice. We receive a text with the picture thanking us and let's just say it was very underwhelming and disappointing! It was a sad version of what we ordered. We paid 55 dollars for an arrangement that maybe should be 20-25 bucks. How do you even stay in business? Why don't you post the flowers you send out on your website so people can see what they actually get? You run a very deceiving business and won't be in business long! read more

Twigs Flower - Do these even compare? Nope! Ripoff! - Florists Near Me - Draper, Utah

I like to do things a little unconventionally sometimes. When I got married, I said to hell with a reception. I wasn't really interested in shaking a thousand people's hands - 99% of whom I'd never met before. Instead, I got married in the morning, had an exquisite luncheon, and then jumped on a plane to start the honeymoon. So, in going with that, I also did a few other things in reverse, or differently. I had my "bridals" taken after I returned from my honeymoon. And I had my husband in most of the shots. For the shoot, I needed a new bouquet and Twigs just happens to be a few blocks from my house. Not only is Twigs convenient, they have been voted Best in Utah for their roses consistently over the years. And if you happen to order a bouquet from them, you will see why. Raymond King is meticulous and incredibly knowledgeable with his flowers. My bouquet turned out gorgeous, full, and the roses themselves were the highest quality I have ever purchased. The bouquet was so beautiful that I ended up preserving this one instead of the one I had on my wedding day. Check it out! The shop is really cute and they are more than happy to work with you. read more

I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to my mother the day before her birthday. She was taking half the day off so I requested that the flowers be delivered before 12. The man who runs the shop was outright racist and rude towards me. I have lived in SLC for years now, never experienced this kind of behavior at any business, ever. I ordered some flowers from here for my wife's birthday and mothers day, set to deliver on Friday, May 9th. First off, I got a 'delivery confirmation' email on Thursday afternoon, however when my wife checked friday morning, they weren't there. A call to Twigs had busy signals. When they finally did arrive, the arrangement that was delivered WAS NOTHING EVEN CLOSE to the one I ordered!!!! My Wife has a SEVERE allergy to Lillies, and I specifically ordered an arrangement that did NOT have them in it, and THEY DELIVERED AN ARRANGEMENT WITH LILLIES IN IT!!! (note: my wife is severely allergic to lillies, and I specifically ordered an arrangement that did not have any lillies in it). I will not ever be ordering from this business again!!! I am severely disapointed with their service and product provided. Update: My wife took the wrong order back, and asked them to fix it. They made a very poor attempt to try to give her 'something', and gave her an excuse of 'oh, we were out of what you ordered, we didn't think it would be that big a deal'. I have since demanded a refund, and will be issuing a chargeback from my bank if that is not completed in 3 days. Update: When my wife took this order back to the store, the owner absolutely refused to come to the front to address the issue. instead he yelled from the back 'just refund her!'. the lady at the front desk gave her a dozen roses as an attempt to make amends for the issue. They said they would refund me within a couple of days. I waited 3 days, and did not get a refund. An attempt to contact the store to resolve the issue was met with a gruff decline for refund and I got hung up on. I then went through a charge back with my bank. I provided photographic proof of what I had ordered, and what had been delivered, clearly showing a massive difference between them. The owner of the store tried to fight the chargeback, stating that he substituted the original order with another because he was 'out of the original order flowers', and that since he gave her a dozen roses, I had agreed that the matter was settled. I never, and my wife never, said anything of the sort. We continued to go through Visa Card services, until the owner finally dropped his objections and took the chargeback. Never EVER EVER order from this place. it's been 4 years, and I am STILL pissed off at this business for screwing up this badly. read more

This was a terrible experience and if you read their Google Reviews (the five most recent ones) you'll easily believe my poor experience (I did not see those reviews until after placing the order). Simply put: I ordered online and specified same-day delivery. I received a confirmation email and my card was charged. The flowers were not delivered. I called the following morning (and emailed) - their phone has been "busy" all day. Compete scam. Read the Google reviews. The stories are horrible. read more

I purchased flowers for my mom last Monday through 1-800-Flowers. Twigs Flower Company was the local florist who fulfilled my order. What was delivered, in no way, resembled what I ordered with the exception of the vase. My mom sent me a pic of the arrangement, thanking me for the surprise. Not only was it a surprise for her, but for me as well...and not in a good way. I immediately called 1-800-Flowers to complain. I had ordered a large arrangement of yellow tulips in a white pitcher. The description of the large read 20 tulips measures approximately 15"H x 14"L for $55.95. I can maybe count 10 random tulips in the received arrangement, along with some "filler" stuff. They also added a cheesy green bow that my 2 year old could have tied better blindfolded. 1-800-Flowers apologized for this and said they'd have the order redelivered the next day. I had to let my mom know to expect another shipment and why, which kind of ruined the whole "receiving flowers experience" for both of us. So I check with my mom Tuesday at 5:30 pm and she still hadn't received them. I called 1-800-Flowers again who attempted to contact the florist with no avail, as they had closed for the day. I called 1-800-Flowers again on Wednesday (today) and after contacting the florist, said they will be delivered today. As of 3 pm, she still hasn't received them, so I have no idea whether or not they ever got it right. I can say that I won't be using 1-800-Flowers again because I don't ever want to do business with this shop again! I feel like they tried to cheat me and save themselves a buck. Buyer beware. There are plenty of other reputable florist in the valley that I will stick with next time. Update: 3/5/13, I see that my review has been filtered by Yelp, along with all other negative reviews and has removed my rating from the overall rating of this business. Shame on this business and on Yelp. At least I now know I cannot trust Yelp. read more

How this company operates is humorous to me. So I order a basic flower arrangement to be delivered to my wife at her office on the Friday before Valentines day... I ordered at around 10-11 am and since Twigs is located near downtown and my wife works downtown, I figured there would be no problem in getting the flowers to her in time before she leaves the office at around 5:30pm. Well turns out that they didn't deliver the flowers until after 6pm and the flowers were left in the office all weekend. After my complaint to them via email on the 12th, they finally reply on the 15th and said "we are so SORRY to hear about this problem please give us a call when you have a moment , we want to make this right with you and again we are SINCERELY SORRY". Nice enough email back, but they did not reply with a number to call them at and no one could help me on this issue when I called their store. Since the 15th... no additional response back from them, nothing that seems like they want to resolve the issue. So consequently, they lost my business. read more
