I did not initially realize they only service on Tuesdays until the day they actually first came, so when I waited 5 days for the first visit, nothing was done besides taking a sample of water and then had to wait another week. At that time I should have called someone else, but I didn't realize that the next day my pool would be cloudy and then green soon after due to needing a new salt cell. Along with that, my "Timer" stopped working. I called to speak to someone Monday to tell them my timer wasn't working and needed my motor to be checked. I was told the guy would show between 3-5 which I thought it was great since I'd be home early from work for my bday. No one showed and I finally got a hold of the owner for him to tell me they were there, but no one called and left me a message. The first time, they called when they got here and before they were leaving. The owner put the service guy on the phone and he told me that he looked at the timer and set the pins and the time that it was when he did it and he figured that would solve it. I told him it has been a week since this timer had not been working, so don't you think we did everything we could in our power to make this work? I told him this is the whole point that we asked for him to fix the timer, but because I didn't specify the time on it, we just must be idiots and didn't set the pins correctly I asked why he didn't stay an extra 15 min since he was ahead of time and make sure ALL parts of the timer worked. Common sense and actually part of his job. He continued to then tell me that he got here Around 1140 because he was ahead of schedule. I told him I was told 3 to 5. A company just doesn't show up at somebody's house because they are done early without calling and leaving a message or at least finding out if it's OK to come in that early. He called me at 11:42 AM which I am at work with a patient so I can't answer my phone and he didn't bother leave me a message or send me a text message. So on top of the poor community service, there's also poor communication and so now my timer still does not work. My pool is still cloudy and green, and I was also told that he doesn't take care of the water, That's maintenance service even though last Tuesday all he did was come here and take water from my pool to test. He apologized and hoped I'd still work with them and I told him they lost my business. It's not my job to need to be home to baby sit people working there. If they say they can do the job without me there, then do it!! Then the owner had the audacity to tell me my timer was probably broken before his people came and quickly corrected him that it still automatically went on early the morning before they showed. Then continued to blame me for not specifying the part of the Timer needing to be fixed. He then wanted me to wait another week for the timer to be fixed and offered 100$ off. We didn't have a choice but to replace the pool pump so we went to Leslie's since they offer interest free financing for 12 months through Wells Fargo. In the store we picked out the pump, made an appointment for installation, and paid. A couple of days later our appointment arrived and the tech showed up to install our pump. He did a very quick and excellent job at removing the old pump and installing a new one. The new pump works great, has a 2 year warranty, and we have 12 months to pay it off. In store staff and the install tech were all very nice and easy to work with.
