They give me good repair service and keep my pool crystal clear. Michelle and Chris are always helpful with my chemicals and water testing.

Kerry Martin Pools (KMP) provided a good design but the operational execution of our 2025 pool…read morebuild was poor, causing months of avoidable disruption and extra expense. For a six-figure project, we expected significantly better-quality control and communication. What went wrong: * Utility damage handled negligently: During trenching, sprinkler lines were broken. Instead of temporarily capping/taping and repairing while exposed, crews backfilled over the damaged lines. That decision contaminated the irrigation with sand and buried the break, forcing us to locate and repair the line later at additional cost and time. Broken sprinkler are unavoidable during a pool construction but backfilling the trench with sand before repairs are made is a 100% preventable action. * Pool finish (marcite/plaster) was substandard: Initial plaster work showed uneven corners, rough surfaces, and irregular coloring. After plastering, the pool was filled and turned over as "complete" without the proper representative present to inspect and/or get homeowner sign-off. After extensive complaining, KMP agreed to redo the finish -- the pool was drained and refinished, but discoloration remained in one area and required a second drain/refinish. Multiple re-dos created unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Lawn was extensively damaged from acid wash dump. * Communication & scheduling failures: Crews often arrived without notice, and we received little or no scheduling updates. Homeowners should not have to wonder who will be in their yard or when work will occur. * Project timeline and value: The build stretched many months due to rework and preventable mistakes. For $100K+, the workmanship, oversight, and customer care were substandard. What they did right: * Sales/design team created a good design based on what we wanted. If KMP only provided designs, we would have rated them much higher. What KMP should improve: * Implement on-site protocols to protect, flag, and temporarily isolate damaged utilities during excavation. * Require mandatory quality inspections and homeowner sign-off prior to completing work and filling a pool. * Improve scheduling proactive communications for all activities (including the many subcontractors involved). Set expectations for what will be done and when. * Strengthen plaster/finish quality control and oversight of subcontractors. Bottom line: We would not hire Kerry Martin Pools again based on our experience. While the sales and design team performed well, the operational shortcomings -- preventable utility damage left unrepaired, sloppy plaster work requiring multiple re-dos, and inconsistent communication -- turned what should have been an exciting home upgrade into months of disruption and expense. There are reputable pool builders available in northeast Florida; we recommend researching alternatives carefully.

I went in and made a deal predicated on getting the kitchen in two weeks. Seven weeks later no kitchen, no call backs, oh and guess what? Marc no longer works there. The only person whoever picks of the phone is the highly apologetic and completely ineffectual receptionist. I want my kitchen or I want my money back. The excuse caboose has left the station. I recommend customers avoid this contractor.

Is the only option to have a service technician come to our house has to be from Jacksonville Florida? Why is it an 1175 service call? 800 dollars for travel BEFORE a diagnosis is made. Really??!! I deeply regret buying from your company. Your company has zero intentions on honoring the warranty you offered. The template your invoice billed me on was for a vehicle NOT a spa. We asked for the chemicals promised, never got them. We asked for a service call technician to call us and never got that either. How can you claim to be a reputable company with such poor customer service? Your company is under investigation and I can clearly see why. Hopefully the BBB and Florida attorney general will stop your shady business practices.

Our delivery date was changed several times due to our deck construction and he was flexible enough to accommodate each change. When the deck was finished we finally had it delivered. Upon uncovering the hot tub there were a couple defects in the fiberglass. One call to Wes, a video was sent, and it was approved to have a replacement delivered. The replacement happened 2 days later. WOW! The two men (can't remember their names) who came to pick up and deliver had an ingenious way to remove and put the replacement in its place. The deck is 4 feet off the ground so it had to be lifted. No scratches or dents, it went perfectly and our hot tub is perfect. Thank you Wes!

Anything I need they're always happy to assist to include chemical use and tips on the operation and setup. Props to them for making the whole spa-buying thing way more enjoyable than I expected! Big thanks to the Vita Spa crew for the great service. We've been using daily for the last three weeks and love it. If you're on the fence about where to get your spa, these folks know how to do it right! Family owned and operated, highly recommend!
