We just added $80 worth of salt to the system, which all drained out or just sat on the bottom. Unfortunately, Blue Water Island Group refused to come back and fix the issues until the final balance was paid, even though the work was clearly defective. They did eventually return to make the repairs, but by then, the pool had turned into a swamp, filled with debris and worms, and we still haven't even been able to use it. We just went to Ace Hardware and spent $70 more dollars on chemicals to try and get the pool clear. For our first pool, this has been a total nightmare.

I can't honestly say if the prices are cheaper anywhere else because we received such great service here from the first time we walked through the doors that we haven't bothered to go anywhere else to compare. They have little plastics bottles they give us and we fill them up with pool water and bring them back here and they test our water (for free) and tell us what we do and do not need. Oh well, they'll have energy drinks, hah. After leaving a bunch of balls in the water we headed back in the clubhouse for late lunch and drinks. I was doing dry January so it was Gatorade followed by shots of pickle juice for me. I just learned that the land here was once a settlement of Mocama people. After them Don Juan McQueen had a slave plantation here. When you are on the course along the marsh, it is cool to think of how historical this land is and the people who once lived here thousands of years ago.

The clubhouse is great for private events since it has a wonderful view of the golf-course. I've personally attended several college and graduation events here and was always impressed. The golf course is lovely and lush. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery. One of my favorite holes looks out over the inter coastal. Overall a lovely place to live and hangout!

The employee who serviced our pool, clearly, did not check the pool equipment on a regular basis and by the looks of things, did not check the pool equipment at all. We were the ones who noticed that the pool was not running and brought it to their attention. Looking at the pool motor at that time it was obvious that the motor had been broken for some time. This was the responsibility of this company to bring this to our attention, not the other way around. This company is downright negligent. We then receive a text message that they do not want to service our pool any longer because the pool motor is not working. Baffling! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
