Imazing, simply said, is the best experience I've had with a service store in all my life. If you're looking for quick and quality computer repairs Imazing is the solution. In the past month my computer broke twice! The first time they were able to repair it in under a week. Although it was expensive, it was nonetheless very much worth it. Yesterday, one of my startup disks failed, leaving me computerless. I was under pressure for a deadline and didn't know what to do. I called Apple who booked me an appointment with Gravis today. They said they could not troubleshoot the issue and it would take 12 days. Then I went to Apple, no appointments for the next week. With nowhere else to turn I went to Imazing. An hour later I was on my way home with a fixed computer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Also realized I should have just went to them in the first place because i ended up breaking the new screen I tried to replace and ended up handing it over to them to fix it for me, with 1 year warranty included! Thank God the nice people at An Post spent the time to look up my Eircode because without the actual building name, my package was nearly undeliverable. Seriously, what century is this? Terrible, terrible, terrible service!!!…read more The owner of the shop has been treating me like a dummy who doesn't understand anything and that they can shamelessly milk and waste my time. I've been waiting for this shop to improve for the course of two years and have never written a bad review during the entire time - they're the closest repair shop to my house and I've been forced to go there a few times for lack of other options (though from now on I will avoid it once and for all!) First it was data restoration that forced me to use their services - it would always take not 3-4 days like they claim, but around two weeks (two weeks with no laptop that i have to use for work!), then the old laptop became a bit slow and at some point wouldn't start - they claimed its hard-disc died - it didn't (as i've managed to fix the operating system by my own the same week) - but i needed a fast new laptop and urgently - and they started representing Terra, a little German manufacturer, and since i didn't want a Mac - I took the first thing that fit my requirements - it was extremely expensive for a non-Mac though (nearly 900 euros) and it didn't come with a burner - so they offered an external - what i didn't know was that the burner had been opened and used (no idea how many times, whether occasionally or frequently) while it was sold to me ''as new'' for a price that was even a bit higher than what it went for normally. The laptop itself started having numerous problems immediately: the cursor was jumpy from the beginning, it would get frozen and needed breaks often... but then, just under a year of usage - the screen's hinge broke and the screen was barely held together by the other, the sound output stopped working in stereo and only one channel would work, many of the keys didn't respond at all and the webcam stopped working... the computer wasn't dropped and hit or anything of that sort. - I stopped by the store and the owner sent me home saying he'll call Terra about parts and call me back - he didn't - i called a week later - no update - two weeks later - ''They said you'll have to replace the entire machine, it'll cost 250 euros'' - and they refused to even look at it in the store - the owner then explained my husband on the phone that ''since they won't be making any money they don't see the point in fixing it'' - since it is still under guarantee. Wow! Should have trusted my gut feeling and avoided Inter-Technik all along and just looked for a different repair store, one that respects their customers. :)

The person who checked it in said they would get back to me in a week or two at most after running some tests. I was asked to pay 116 Euro up-front which I paid in cash. I left feeling hopeful. No one called after two weeks so I checked back in and was told that they were still working on it and that someone would call me with an update. Another week passed before I had to call again. This happened three or four times where no-one returned my call when they said they would. I was completely in the dark. Finally I went in and was told that there was nothing they could do to save the data. This was almost 2 months after I brought it in. Turns out the intern did something wrong, the person who was supposed to check it and call me went on vacation, and so on. It was at this point that they handed me back my hard-drive and asked me to pay 116 Euro... the same 116 Euro I paid in advance for nothing. Another mistake tacked up to the intern. With so many stars on Yelp I thought I was in good hands but somehow I slipped through them. This was over a year ago that this happened and it still makes me angry. Writing a review was the least I could do. --- happy ending is I took it somewhere else and they were able to recover what I thought lost forever. The time I lost dealing with inter-technik I'll never get back.
