We were required to order bridesmaid dresses 8 months in advance, which already felt unusual. After ordering, I found out I'm pregnant and the wedding will be when I'm about 5 months along, so I called the store to ask if I could simply change the size since the dress hasn't even arrived yet. The dress is from a designer whose website shows 8-9 week shipping for special orders yet the store insisted the process takes 8 months. At first I was told the bride requested the dresses early, which wasn't true. Later they changed the explanation and said their shipping takes longer than the designer's... even though that is who they place their orders through so makes absolutely no sense. After speaking with the bride, she was also told that we had to order before December because of upcoming tariffs that would supposedly increase the price. However, the dress is currently the exact same price to order today, which makes that explanation confusing as well. The bride also mentioned to the consultant during ordering that some bridesmaids could potentially be pregnant, but later I was told that if the bride had specifically said that someone is trying to get pregnant, they would have advised ordering a larger size. Apparently the wording needed to be extremely specific in order to receive that guidance. Despite the dress not even being in my possession yet or theirs, I was told I would have to purchase an entirely new dress and could not change the size or receive any credit. I understand bridal items can be final sale, but the inconsistent explanations and lack of flexibility were really disappointing especially given the circumstances. I wish there had been more honesty and willingness to help. I would absolutely never give these people my business and if you're thinking about it BEWARE. They will rip you off and try to manipulate you with zero remorse. Might I add the wedding is still 5 months away

I had no idea what style, what would look good; I'm on the larger side and i thought small shops only catered to smaller girls and were so over priced. I didn't look forward at all... When i arrived there the owner and her mother were so sweet and making me feel so comfortable. The owner asked me what i wanted and i told her I HAD NO IDEA. She looked at me and said ok go in the dressing room. She came in with five dresses. I was very self conscious to get undressed but she made me feel so at ease, talking to me and making me feel i was important. The first dress was the one. She spent 10 minutes tightening it putting on the veil and head peice. She knew i wanted it ... Instead of rushing me, she continued to put on every dress after that. She also completed each look with the veil and head piece. she spent over a hour even letting me try on the first dress again. I told her i wanted it, she said to think about it no need to rush. i was so scared it would cost a lot but i got it for 1,100!!! A dress that looks at least 5 grand. The veil is absolutley gorgeous and breath taking... i have to say i wish i could relive this moment because this fitting made me excited about planning my wedding... if i had a negative experience i don't think i would of went through with the hall and party. The store is stocked with what appeared to be only wedding dresses. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. Margaret has been in the business for over 30 years and her expertise is evident. They carry the newest dresses and have them on site for you to try on. There was no searching through racks and racks of dresses, everything was in a catalog and Margaret pulled the ones you selected. You are only allowed to try on 4 dresses during your scheduled visit. As with most bridal stores, no pictures or videos are allowed. They were very organized, pleasant and easy to work with.

Keep in mind I didn't know the hours of the place. She automatically said no. There was no explanation but rather a curt no. I asked her why and she told me they don't open until 12pm. It would've been nice if Diane would've led with that. I asked to move the appointment to 12pm and she told me someone took that slot already. Ultimately, my appointment was moved to 1pm. I don't think appointments are honored because there was a group of people there while I was patiently waiting to try on dresses. Automatically Diane gave me a catalog to look at. She turned to the "plus size" section which didn't offer much of a selection. I flipped through the 15 pages or so and I finally found a dress on the last page. I waited 21 mins to be measured by Margaret. She didn't introduce herself but just started measuring me outside the fitting room. Diane then looked at the catalog to see which dress I selected and she told me it doesn't come in my size. I explained to her you don't offer much for curvy women and I was only able to find one dress in the catalog to my liking. Margaret said she can find me similar dresses. I told her that I want a mermaid dress with bling. The first dress I tried on was a no-no. The second dress I instantly fell in love with prior to trying it on. It fit perfectly. Customer service can definitely be improved. Although we were off to a rocky start they redeemed themselves throughout my visits. Ultimately I was blown away with how beautiful I looked with my wedding dress.
