Both cones made for a great snack and came with dipping sauces. We took the cones to a viewpoint part of town and ate the food on a bench. Wow! What an incredible spot. Everything we tried was delicious, but I especially have to rave about the cod bites -- they were outstanding! The whole menu is fried, so it's probably not something I'd eat every day, but as a special treat it was fantastic. The woman who served us was so warm and welcoming -- she loved Americans and made us feel right at home. Plus, the ambiance of Riomaggiore made it all even more picturesque. I tried the fried fish in Venice, but the fish in Cinque Terre was unrivaled. Cinque Terre is known for its fried fish - its one of the main culinary staples in the area. Everything is caught fresh daily and fried to a delicious crisp. I loved the fried fish cones so much. You get a mix of anchovies, shrimp, octopus, and calamari. The crisp is unreal and it's actually not too battered. Perfect snack as you walk around the villages. There are many fried fish shops, but this place was the best! Tutti Fritti is the perfect name for this lunch spot in Riomaggiore. Fried seafood treats quickly. I had the mixed seafood and arancini balls with a peach tea. There was a line out the door, but orders were filled quickly. Got mine in about 10 mins. Fresh sardines, squid, baby octopus, and shrimp. The squid and baby octopus were amazing and I'd recommend if getting a single item. The arancini was a little too oily, but overall good. Served up to go in a paper container with stakes to eat and a wedge of lemon. read more

So good I came here twice on my trip. Better and more consistent selection than the other 2 establishments on the street. I got the large mixed cone both times though I should have known they were too much food for me after the first. You can't go wrong with fried calamari. Tutti Fritti does a great job and is suuuuuuper delicious after hiking for an entire day. It's €5 for a small cone with mixed items (i.e., more than just calamari), or €6 for just calamari. We opted to pay the extra euro for calamari-only option and I don't regret it! The calamari isn't very crispy because the battery is extremely light. You get a lot of chewy squid as a result, but it's well seasoned so you probably won't mind. My friend who did get a mixed cone said she enjoyed the other items (fish, anchovies), so take that as you may. Service was awful and the lady behind the counter was particularly mean and unfriendly, but that doesn't bother me. I was only in there for a second, anyway. If you're looking for a small treat, this is it! read more

Absolutely delicious! We loved this place. There were a few places in town but this was by far the best looking spot. Everything tasted fresh. My husband said it's the best calamari he's ever had! Occasionally having these fried, slightly breaded seafood seemed to be a good choice of meal. Quite popular in the area-have seen this kind of shop in many of the villages in Cinque Terre. Order by various sizes of cone and different kinds of seafood. Some will let you mix. Order, pay and take away while time is essential to cover more of sightseeing. It makes good business! read more

Very rude woman behind the counter. My wife and I walked in and she was chatting with a young woman who she obviously knew. We were the only other people in the very small space. they continued to chat and pretended not to notice us, which took some effort as we were standing less than four feet from them due to the tiny space. no eye contact, no acknowledgment that she had recognized that customers had walked in. This went on for an uncomfortable amount of time. Finally, during a lull in their constant babbling, I said "bonjourno". They then chattered to each other about how I'd used the wrong term for the time of day. It got more bizarre. The rude woman snapped at my wife in very clear English (first we'd heard that from her) when she almost grabbed the wrong cone of greasy food. Bottom line, this person does not deserve your hard earned money. There are several other places that serve the exact same fried food within steps of this place. read more

There are lots of places along Cinque Terre selling fried seafood, but Tutti Fritti was the best - good quality, good prices, and nice service. You could mix and choose a variety for only 6 euros (they charged 8 for just calamari in Monterosso by the beach). Got calmari, anchovies, mussels and crab balls. Yummy! read more

5 euro for bunch of hot, fresh, well seasoned fried seafood (I ordered a mixed cone with calamari, mussels - least favorite, and cod plus a lemon wedge) stuffed into a portable paper cone. Based on yelp reviews I stumbled down the via Columbia in search of tutti fritti. But I accidentally went to the shop two doors down and was left feeling very underwhelmed (barely warm seafood that just didn't taste fresh...maybe just because of the temperature). So glad I picked up a cone at tutti fritti the next day! Perfect treat to enjoy down by the marina watching the water and waves roll in. read more

Great fried seafood, served in a cone with lemon. We had a beautiful two days in Riamaggiore and enjoyed this restaurant.

As the previous review from Derek says, "Service was awful and the lady behind the counter was particularly mean and unfriendly". Well Derek you may be right, there are more dramatic things in life but you can't recommend a place where people are mean and unfriendly. It did bother me because I was called 'STUPIDA', told 'FUCK YOU' and "YOU'RE A BITCH!" (the last one from her husband!). She even gave me the finger!!! I went there for the 2nd time because my 4-year-old son loved the calamari, the fish and anchovies. I just wanted those 3 items in a small cone and I tried to explain it in Italian. Apparently she didn't get it right because she put prawns and squid in it, so I gently told her that my son didn't like them and that he only wanted calamari, fish and anchovies. My son and I were the only customers in the shop; she suddenly got really pissed off, shouting "Do you speak any English" and started swearing at me in Italian, calling me "STUPIDA" and threatening me with her kitchen utensil!!! I was pretty shocked, asked her to calm down and to take her treatment if she had any!! She shouted at me to 'FUCK OFF' so I left because my 4-year-old son was pretty shocked!!! I came back without him because I wanted to have a word with her boss or partner; you can't just insult people like this and go with it! So when I went in I told the 3 Chinese lady that they may get insulted and should go to another place. She insulted me once again, 'FUCK YOU', then her husband showed up in the street and instead of apologizing called me A BITCH!!!! We had our cone in another shop, the one on the same side of the street; it was very nice and the lady was lovely. I reported the incident to the tourist information and I was advised to write a review. read more
