    Fried fish cone
    Eugene Y.

If I had to list three of my favorite foods from Italy it would be 1. Focaccia pizza 2. Gelato 3. Fried fish cones (in no specific order). I tried the fried fish in Venice, but the fish in Cinque Terre was unrivaled. Cinque Terre is known for its fried fish - its one of the main culinary staples in the area. Everything is caught fresh daily and fried to a delicious crisp. I loved the fried fish cones so much. You get a mix of anchovies, shrimp, octopus, and calamari. The crisp is unreal and it's actually not too battered. Perfect snack as you walk around the villages. There are many fried fish shops, but this place was the best! Must try if you're in Cinque Terre!

    Calamari fritti

Calamari fritti was super fresh and delicious! Had to get it twice while we were there

Tutti Fritti is the perfect name for this lunch spot in Riomaggiore. Fried seafood treats quickly. I had the mixed seafood and arancini balls with a peach tea. There was a line out the door, but orders were filled quickly. Got mine in about 10 mins. Fresh sardines, squid, baby octopus, and shrimp. The squid and baby octopus were amazing and I'd recommend if getting a single item. The arancini was a little too oily, but overall good. Served up to go in a paper container with stakes to eat and a wedge of lemon.

    Calamari and cod! Perfect!

Amazing! Lightly fried seafood (and others) in a cute location of Riomaggiore. Quick service, and also great side sauces.

Great and fresh fried seafood. Delicious flavors. Loved the batter on the cod. The mixed seafood cone is a must try! You get a little bit of everything: calamari, shrimp, mussels and more!

So good I came here twice on my trip. Better and more consistent selection than the other 2 establishments on the street. I got the large mixed cone both times though I should have known they were too much food for me after the first. Most everything was delicious and the shrimp my favorite and the crab claws my least favorite.

Great calamari for the price! ~7-8 euros for a cone filled with fried seafood. Tastes fresh, light/thin batter! They make it super quick also! You have to pay a bit extra to get a sauce, but I personally enjoy eating it with just some lemon juice (I think it's about 0.5 euros extra).

The best fried fish around! The fried anchovies, sardines, calamari and veggies were just amazing. I got the mixed cone and found everything to be so fresh and a fantastic sampling of the local flavors.

Fried calamari. Small cone for €6.

You can't go wrong with fried calamari. Tutti Fritti does a great job and is suuuuuuper delicious after hiking for an entire day. It's €5 for a small cone with mixed items (i.e., more than just calamari), or €6 for just calamari. We opted to pay the extra euro for calamari-only option and I don't regret it! The calamari isn't very crispy because the battery is extremely light. You get a lot of chewy squid as a result, but it's well seasoned so you probably won't mind. My friend who did get a mixed cone said she enjoyed the other items (fish, anchovies), so take that as you may. Service was awful and the lady behind the counter was particularly mean and unfriendly, but that doesn't bother me. I was only in there for a second, anyway. If you're looking for a small treat, this is it!

Absolutely delicious! We loved this place. There were a few places in town but this was by far the best looking spot. Everything tasted fresh. My husband said it's the best calamari he's ever had! I got the cod bites, fries, and veggies. Everything was delicious! We would come back if we were coming back to Riomaggiore! The lady at the counter was very nice and even taught us how to eat an anchovy!

Fresh fried cod and fries, and fried anchioves, crab & calamari (I inhaled all the calamari before we took this pic because it was amazing)

Confused why this place isn't 5 stars from everyone. It is all fresh fish, freshly fried, and incredibly well priced. I went back twice in one day because it was that good. Get the freshly fried fish of the day (when I went, it was cod), the calamari, and the fried crab. Ughhhhh I'm in love !!!!

Fried seafood sold in various sizes of cone to take away

Occasionally having these fried, slightly breaded seafood seemed to be a good choice of meal. Quite popular in the area-have seen this kind of shop in many of the villages in Cinque Terre. Order by various sizes of cone and different kinds of seafood. Some will let you mix. Order, pay and take away while time is essential to cover more of sightseeing. It makes good business!

    Mixed seafood. Fresh and yummy!

There are lots of places along Cinque Terre selling fried seafood, but Tutti Fritti was the best - good quality, good prices, and nice service. You could mix and choose a variety for only 6 euros (they charged 8 for just calamari in Monterosso by the beach). Got calmari, anchovies, mussels and crab balls. Yummy!

Easy takeaway, delicious fish and chips. Portions are large - consider sharing. Definitely will go more than once for lunch.

Fried veggies were better than the fried calamari. Portion sizes were big but overall a bit too soggy.

Great fried seafood, served in a cone with lemon. We had a beautiful two days in Riamaggiore and enjoyed this restaurant.

My wife and I don't really enjoy fish, but we even liked the local-caught sea bass: Fresh, flaky, tender, and mild but with a nice flavor (most fish is too bland for me). Regarding the speed of service, it is an *Italian* restaurant (in Italy, obviously), so expect it to go more slowly and enjoy the leisurely pace. Also, the house wine (white and red) is delicious. Highly recommended!

Definitely make a reservation a couple of days ahead because they book up fast, and the place is popular with visitors who swear it's the best in Manarola. That said, the service was rough. The staff felt inattentive, and even when I was ready to pay, it took forever just to get the bill. They never came back to collect the payment, so I had to walk up to the register myself... and still wait for someone to take it. And honestly, they weren't even busy. The food itself was good, though not the best I've had in Manarola. The grilled sardines (five pieces) were tasty with bread. The seafood spaghetti, frutti di mare, was excellent with a solid portion size. The "giant" grilled prawns were flavorful but definitely not giant; you'll still be hungry unless you order something else. The grilled vegetables were a bit soggy and underwhelming. I kind of wish we'd gone for the lobster pasta special. I saw it at other tables and it looked incredible. Overall: good food, great views, but service that needs improvement. Not a bad meal, but not the must-visit some make it out to be.
