I end up feeling more confident with using the tools, with knowing how to avoid accidents. Dennis makes the class environment a comfortable and nice place to hang out. There's creative energy all about. I look forward to going each week and seeing what projects the other students are up to or chatting with him. He's not only a great instructor but also so easy and friendly to talk to! Dennis' enthusiasm for woodworking and old tools will quickly rub off on you. It's a great balance between a structured class curriculum and freedom to customize your projects. I've since discovered that going to the lumber yard and choosing woods feels a little like being a kid in a candy store. It's so much fun to do something hands on and design / build your own furniture. I highly recommend the Wood Work Shop to anyone looking up to pick up woodworking.

We are the only woodworking school that trains kids under 15. Children students are accepted is based on whether they can take instruction.

Norco College set up signs by the Student Success Center that made it easy for me to locate the ATEC Building and the classroom/computer lab where VITA helped me with my Taxes was super clean and well maintained! The Tax Prep Professionals Alicia and Edward were so nice, thorough, and courteously organized with making the process simple and easy and I loved walking around campus afterward and exploring the Student Center as well. I can tell Norco College really cares about the Students and offers and abundance of high value resources to assist them with completing all their academic goals successfully, and paying for Visitor parking is super simple as well with the visual aids they post in the parking lot on how to download the park mobile app and how to pay quickly easily online! Thank You Norco College for hosting VITA Tax Prep every year and helping us overworked and tired Hustlers get assistance in taking care of our taxes quickly and easily for free!

I went here in June 2015 for my CNA certification. It was Monday through Thursday and it was just 4…read moreweeks. Not too bad. The first week was all theory. I didn't find this the least bit useful. It was just us students taking turns to read from a book. This I thought we could do ourselves. I would prefer we got a chapter to read and discuss it the next day or get tested on it. Other than that, I have no complaints. Andrea is courteous and likable and so is Ms. Julie. The good thing about becoming a CNA was that it would come in handy for nursing school. I'm in my 4th (4/5) semester at an RN program. Being a CNA gave my application a little boost since my program uses the point system. Don't waste your time taking a CNA course at a community college. You're wasting four months of your life on something you can do in 4 weeks. Sure you'll be saving a penny here and there by taking it at a community college but think of this: You have 3 extra months to make money as opposed to using them up training at a community college. Do yourself a favor. It's quick and easy and my experience as a CNA helps me work better with patients during my clinical rotations.

She was very helpful and informative since day 1. The Directors of the school are very nice and even made us a home cooked lunch during one of our theory days. Our instructors were Danielle and Victor. They were a great team. Thanks to them our entire class passed the CNA test.

Ms.Tina the director is so sweet and so very involved. My son missed almost a month of school due to a lot of things happening in our family and she personally reached out to make sure all was ok. My son who's attending his first year of preschool at south hills looks forward to going on his days. They do a great job sending pictures and letting you know how they did that day. Having 3 kids I have dabbled into different schools but we came back to south hills for many reasons. I know my child is safe, happy and thriving. It's a great preschool and I highly recommend.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!…read more If you care about your kids safety then stay away!! This is a toxic environment with teachers that target kids by bullying them, singling them out and lying to parents. My children were victim of this, and kicked out by the "caring director", who is sly and misleading, for supposedly biting a classmate and wrestling during class. No video was given as support, no action while it supposedly happened, just "this happened, you're out!" I find it interesting 2 teachers in a class of 10 do not hear or see this happen, it just miraculously happened and good bye!! Our child was bullied and picked on by another teacher, and felt uncomfortable going to school. One of the teachers even decided she was a psychotherapist diagnosing our kids with disorders, that they do not have, as they are normal healthy children. Since leaving our children are thriving in school and have never had any "problems" since. I'm only writing this now, to warn others so another child isn't verbally abused!!
