And I can't speak for every teacher, but my daughter's teacher last year had one foot in the retirement ring, which made for a less than pleasant year for both students & parents. I dread attending functions at this school because of the traffic and crowds, which is sad because we've always been so active at our children's school. Now that my twins are in kindergarten, I am seriously reconsidering ALL of my children's enrollment in this monster-sized school. If you are not in a big group you don't get to seat at the table. All other areas like walls are taken over also. I bet teachers have plenty of room in their cozy lunch room. When kids need help teachers are not even willing to answer e-mails back. English teacher Mrs. Velez doesn't grade all the work, so grades are lower than they would if all the work would be graded. Teachers like Dubel and Amon are friends so they spend literally half of the time talking to each other, going to each other classrooms, leaving the kids alone playing computer games or do nothing. Some teachers simply don't explain material well. Do I need to say more? It's endless.
