This review is for the Swedish massage that never took place at this place. I had ordered a Groupon to use for a massage at this place, booked a date in the future that was 2-3 weeks out, but realized within 6 hours that the date was not going to work for me so I asked for a refund from Groupon on the voucher that was just issued to me. I intended to call this place back and cancel my appointment, that was scheduled 2 weeks out, but hadn't gotten around to it, but within 1 day of me making my appointment - I get a call from the owner of this place, who LECTURES me on the phone about how it's "not nice" that I didn't cancel the appointment with her. I calmly explained to her that I didn't get a chance to cancel the appointment, but I had marked it on my calendar for me to call her and cancel. I felt like she was ATTACKING ME VERBALLY with her language by saying that it's not right of me not to cancel my future appointment. I mean - I barely refunded the Groupon just a day before, and hadn't given her a courtesy cancellation call yet!!! Good grief. VERY SCARY. I'd stay away from this place if you don't want to get lectured and verbally attacked w/ a menacing tone by some crazy lady. Not worth your time or having her inflict VERBAL ABUSE on you. read more

I am very, very happy with the eyebrow threading. I've only ever had my brows waxed before so I was a bit apprehensive about threading but Mojgan made this a great experience. She's very sweet and does a fantastic job. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. She gave tips on maintenance and recommended a brow gel..I came here on a Groupon but have another appointment scheduled in a few weeks. I would definitely recommend. I took advantage of an Amazon coupon that was being offered. After getting my eyebrows threaded, Mojgan noticed that I had permanent eyebrows tattooed on. She asked me about them but basically wanted to know how much I had paid to have them done and then retouched. After I told her, she told me she could do the same and for the same amount. This amount was $45.00 for the touch up. My first thought was to ask if she had a business license to include tattooing, however, I didn't. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I went in and the first thing out of her mouth was a fee that was $10 more than what she had told me she would do them for. The next thing she told me was that I would have to come in after two weeks and have her retouch them again and of course pay another $45.00. Maybe the shop owner thought I was born yesterday? I may not be a beautician, however, I have had my eyebrows done and retouched and I know that if they are done correctly, the person should not need to come in again after two weeks. The bottom line here is that Mojgan was trying to run a SCAM on me. First by adding $10 to the total fee and then making it necessary to come in for a second visit that was not necessary. This lady works at other salons too, I would definitely consider not going to this shop. She is a cheater and I for one am never returning. read more

I am 100% + satisfied with my brows and lashes! My husband bought the groupon for me to get microblading done since it's been about 2-3 years and I had some fading, which is normal. I was able to make my appointment as Mojgan was so professional and sweet! I loved my experience so much I was able to squeeze in time for eyelash extensions and purchased some massages for cuter uses! She has gentle hands and knows what she's doing. What an angel she is! I'm a returning customer for sure I will post my brows once they have healed. Wow. Awful. That's the short. The long of it is really the fact how rude Modjan (Mushka) is. I used to come to the Salon and she decides to have a bad day and take it out on me?! She scolded me on one occasion because I chose to only get eye brows rather then full face (which caused some serious acne for me the last time I did it with her) and I come to find out, she's moonlighting from the mall?! I decided to take my business to the mall and she saw me there. She decides to be nice and gain my business back. I tried to give her another shot but she decided to have an attitude with me at the mall as well! The nerve on this one. She also wanted me to do cash only at the mall and only see her at the salon. She rolled her eyes and scolded me for sitting in the wrong chair! When I chose to say nothing and walk away, she started harassing me via text! Such a rude person. If I get another message from her after this, I will report her and post her texts here. Psycho. She does an average job with the brows and facial hair so if you can drive to the mall and get it done at the stalls there (where she also works), do that. It took a little bit longer than when I would normally get my brows done but she did do my chin and upper lip for free. While that part was totally and completely uncomfortable I was very pleased with the results. The only thing I didn't like about my visit to Tutiya was that I was asked where I had previously gone to get my brows done and she proceeded to talk down about that other business. I was recommended her and has not since had a reason not to come back. Mojgan is not only extremely nice and friendly, she also (which is most importantly, does a great job, beyond expectations) I have had my face threaded there as I said for 2 years and I have also tried the eye lash extensions which I absolutely love!!!! They look amazing. I had them done 2 times, 1 time last year in August when I went to Croatia, and 1 time in April when I went to Florida. Love love love them. After having two extremely successful eyebrow shaping appointments with Mojgan, I find it more than necessary to give credit where it's deserved. Mojgan is an eyebrow queen, who knows EXACTLY what she's doing! I was hesitant to try a new place because I've had a few experiences where the brow "specialist" insisted on thinning my brow in order to give it a desirable shape. By doing this, I lost my natural brow shape completely...and have been waiting YEARS to find the right person to help my brows get on the right track again. After all, they say that good eyebrows can make or break a face! Mojgan knows what it means to have beautiful full brows and ensures to maintain your true natural brow shape. She doesn't try to create her own. I suggest letting your brows get as bushy as possible so that she has more to work with. It took a month and a half for my brows to be where they are today, with her help of course! Her prices are beyond reasonable, she is extremely professional, and she has a very calm demeanor. This makes for a very relaxing experience. I feel bad for anyone who has had anything negative to say about her on Yelp, because it appears to be nothing more than just a simple misunderstanding. Either that, or some people are just a**holes This to me is not a big enough issue to write about on here. Called to get information and was told in a rude tone that she is not available to talk. When told I am available tomorrow to book an appointment the lady stated in a rude tone "you can call me". After booking an appointment the lady begins telling me about the cancellation policy, as I ask for confirmation she said "I am not arguing, either you can come or not". Don't get extensions here! Do not be fooled by the cheap prices. You get what you pay for. First of all, she was very friendly in the beginning but don't let that fool you. I had never gotten eyelash extensions so I didn't really know what to expect. Anyways, it was like any normal appointment but as soon as she started applying them I knew something was wrong. (She doesn't give you any option of length, style etc..). As she was applying them, my eyelids were burning. I could feel her placing the extensions on my bare eyelid which was a mistake from the beginning. Anyways, when she finished, my eyes were burning and watering so much and she said it was normal. (I couldn't even open my eyes without crying and burning). I looked in the mirror and the eyelashes weren't even the same. She tried to fix it with scissors by trimming but I was still not satisfied. She applied the lashes in different parts of my eye and got really defensive when I brought up how unsatisfied I was. I realized there was nothing I could do and I just payed and left. Long story short, it's a week later and most of my eyelashes have fallen out. I texted her today asking her to remove them because I was not happy and she responded like a child. Bottom line don't go here for eyelash extensions, pay the extra money and get good extensions. read more

Immediately after that she went off on me and her tone was extremely rude. She started saying if I had read I would've seen it was appointment only which I didn't see because when I clicked on the deal the Apple Pay came up and I just bought it because I thought it was going to be like the one at the mall and I needed it by sunday anyways. This merchant is unprofessional. I would not recommend this business. I purchased a Groupon to try out this merchant. I've tried threading twice before but am still not convinced that it's right for me. When I called to make my appointment, to my surprise, I found out that I previously purchased this same Groupon several months back and was one of the places I tried previously. The vendor had my phone number and remembered me. She made it clear that the Groupon deals are for first time customers only. I agreed so I said I would just call Groupon to get a refund. But after a lengthy discussion the vendor said since I purchased it already, I should come in and she would honor it. So, I made an appointment. However, she asked me to call her a few days before to confirm my appointment, which I thought was weird, but then later retracted it, I wouldn't need to call again. Huh? It turns out, the day before my appointment, she called me to move my scheduled time out two hours. I said it would be tight but I'll manage. So, that day, I reshuffled by schedule but unfortunately arrived 5 minutes late. It then took me an additional 2 minutes to announce my arrival by a button system. The salon doesn't have a receptionists. The merchant comes out and all she says is that I was late so she took another customer; and was smug about it I might add. What??!! I was upset but whatever. Let's just get this over with. I figured that she stacks her clients back to back in blocks with little wiggle room to accommodate her schedule, never mind the customer. When I finally got in the suite I asked if she needed my voucher. She stared at me with bulging eyes and proceeded to asked if I had been there before and if I've used a Groupon before. I reminded her that we had this lengthy conversation already on the phone. She blatantly denied remembering the conversation. I was shocked! So, I said, whatever, I'll pay the $4 difference, can we just get my brows done. To my surprise she kept wanting to berate me. So of course we went back and forth. Finally, I realized that the best thing to do was agree to disagree. I tried to pacify the situation be reiterating that I would pay the difference. I thought that did it and laid down on the chair. At this point I was thinking... hmm maybe I shouldn't let someone this disturbed do my brows. And just before she bent over to start, would you believe it, she went at me again, trying to get the last word in. I was stunned! I got up and left. She proceeded to follow me and continued her rant at me and even followed me to my car; which was very creepy. Thankfully she didn't get in my way and I drove off. Needless to say, I will not return. What a horrible experience it was for me. Small businesses that are low cost and non technical in nature really only have customer service as the main draw for repeat business. As I can see this owner 'defend' her business as always correct however can't deny half of the review in here are negative and not praise for the business, then business owner need to think about 'why' vs. 'how to defend myself was so right but the customer simply has their own problem'. if that's the way to run a business, then this is not the right business for you. your business should be about customer service. She couldn't give me an appointment for 4 days. So she is either a 1 woman team or just wasn't thrilled about taking an appointment via Groupon for a service that takes anywhere under 5 minutes. I bought a Groupon deal for eyebrow threading at Tutiya. I called to make an appointment for the next day. I talked with the owner, Mojgan and she told me to come at certain time during the day. I said i can't make it at that time and that's when she said to come in next 30minutes. I told her i can't make it in 30minutes and i was on the way somewhere else already. That's when she said "have a good day" and hang up the phone. She was rude and obnoxious and didnt listen to what i was trying to say at all. I called her back and she started to lecture me on how i need to make appointments ahead of time and i told her thats the reason im calling her and she hang up on me. I have been to several threading places and this is the first encounter with an obnoxious and rude owner that could care less about customers or getting any sort of business.
