    Egg rolls

Known for their egg rolls. They are expensive at $4.50 each! It contained chicken and cabbage. Not much flavor and they don't have any sweet chili or sweet and sour sauce to dip it in. They are an Americanized version of it. Service however was friendly and the decor is fun to see all the $1 bills inside.

Egg rolls and a beer = perfection

Heading to or from Lake Berryessa? This is a must stop for a drink or a bite to eat. If you haven't had the famous egg rolls at turtle rock you are missing out. I come here some times on an hour long drive just to get some egg rolls and a beer. The staff is cool, they know what they are working with. Beers, cocktails, bar food - and of course the egg rolls. You want to know about the atmosphere - bring a few extra bucks and get a pin and slap some dollars on the ceiling. Or ride up with your friends and grab a picnic table for some drinks and grub. This place is iconic, make sure you visit.

On a back road with porta potties in the parking lot I would have never stopped if someone hadn't recommended. This what happens when a Chinese man marries an Irish woman- they open a pub and have a signature egg roll. The egg roll is legit. One of the porta potties is not on level ground and it crazy rocked while inside. They are right on the edge of the cliff - you can imagine the thoughts of possibilities!!??? It's the one on the left.

Drove up to this little spot in Lake Berryessa/Napa county. It's a little whole in the wall. They have a bar and a little store inside. They have yummy crunch egg rolls . I could have had 2. The egg rolls are $4 each. Service was pleasant as well. If you in the are go check it out.

Strips of lunch meat like TURKEY....not chicken!

Visiting Turtle Rock is always on the list while we're up at Lake Berryessa. We are not tourists, we live close by. Today, we visited and unfortunately didn't have the best experience. I always look forward to super yummy, hot and fresh egg rolls. Sadly, today they were gummy on the inside as if they had been sitting around awhile then reheated. And even more shocked to find this massive chunk of "meat" not chicken inside cut like a strip then placed inside the rolls. They may have always been prepared this way but I never noticed because they're always so fresh and delicious - today was a different story. Bartenders were polite but the famous egg rolls were subpar.

I have been coming here for many years. I think 1987 was my first trip. Disappointed the egg rolls changed but still great bartender service and ice cold beers. If you're driving Silverado Trail, drive a bit further East and you'll be pleasantly surprised at this little hidden gem. Cheers

    Ceiling of signed dollar bills

We checked out Turtle Rock on our way back from Lake Berryessa because we heard about their famous egg rolls. I had really high expectations thinking it was going to be so delicious. I was very disappointed. They are big but all you taste is celery with some mystery meat that looks like a form of turkey spam. It was salty. We also had a couple of rounds of shots and I honestly think they water down their liquor. Normally after two back to back shots, I start to feel it but I didn't feel anything. The only reason I give two stars is because it is a unique experience with dollar bills hanging everywhere, very small town feel, and the staff was nice. Go for the experience but don't go with any expectations.

A cool dive to check out on your way to lake Berryessa. The world famous eggrolls are huge! Let me preface by saying I have never been a huge eggroll fan- with that said I thought they were ok. It tasted like any eggroll you would get except 3 times the size. I do wish they offered sweet and sour or plum sauce along with the mustard and siracha. The hundreds of hanging dollar bills are fun and from time to time they will collect all the money from the walls and donate it to charity- which is awesome. You should check this pit stop out!

Have you guys seen the shoe sons of anarchy? I came here and I felt like I was a part of a motorcycle crew, except for the fact that I drive a Prius; however, it's a cool spot for a cold beer

"World Famous Egg Rolls" ??? Nothing world famous here. Maybe it's time to change the fryer oil.

Took a motorcycle ride up here. No tap, only cans and bottles. Nonetheless, this place charges $4.00 for an 8oz beer can.

Cool funky place, I tried the egg rolls, they were good, but not fabulous. The bartender Maxine was great! I will be back.

I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but the premade sandwich I bought here was honestly…read moreembarrassing, especially for a place in Yountville. What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.
