It looks like they mop the floors every morning. As far as their inventory, almost every piece of furniture looks as if it came from the showroom floor. No particle board furniture in this store. The appliances they sell are gently used, reasonably priced, and Searcey's has every price point. I have bought several items from Searcey's and everything is fantastic. I liked going in to look because they were a cash only store. Which means, I would have to think about my purchase while going to the bank. Well, they take credit & debt cards now. Great store with honest owner's...they work the store everyday and do not have employees. I like to go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to see if they have any new items from the weekend estate sales.

Unfortunately their discount setup is a little confusing but we still found a lot of goodies. Winter clearance was 99 cents which is great if you love sweaters. The aisles are clearly marked and it is easy to find the size you're looking for. The store is laid out in a manner that allows home goods, toys and clothing to stay clean and sorted. It is a great pop in if you enjoy thrifting.

Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.
